Very friendly staff, the hotel "does what it says on the tin" - an excellent value for money 3* hotel, with all the bits you'd expect, including hearty breakfast, strong WiFi, and 10-15 minutes stroll from Petra site entrance.

There is nothing particularly wrong here but it is hugely overpriced. For this money one could reasonably expect hot water, a nice breakfast, a bathroom that is big enough for two people and a room that has a bit more space than just to give access to the beds.

The staff were very helpful and attentive. If you are going to Wadi Mousa for Petra and that will be your main activity, you will find that the location is not at walking distance. However, shuttle service is available for pick-up and drop-off to and fro Petra entrance and the hotel, thus, making up for the distance.

The service and quality was nice . The management, the concierge and all the staff that we met are totally proffessional, very efficient and incredibly polite and charming. When ever we asked for something - an adaptor or the seamstress, laundry or even room service they were at the door in minutes! The rooms are bright and not cluttered and we well come again to stay there ..

Good service very helpful staff went above and beyond regular service- breakfast, ride I want a bed, a bathroom and breakfast...I Do not need a big room for anything. The price was right, the staff were very helpful and I highly recommend Petra Sella Hotel for people who wish to spend their money on other areas then bed.

The rooms, advertised as being very spacious, are not, and we had to show the hotel's claim for 35 sq meter rooms on booking.com in order to be moved to a slightly larger room. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and the hammering starts at 7:30 am, with broken glass next to the coffee and tea breakfast table. Breakfast was the worst we've experienced anywhere, barely edible. Advertised "coffee and team making facilities in every room" is actually just that. A kettle (dirty) was provided, and we were expected to bring our own coffee and tea. A group of men sit, seemingly all day, smoking and talking in the lobby.

Very good price, comfortable beds and excellent shower. You need your own transport to get to the Petra site, or take taxis. Two female members of our group had an 'uncomfortable' experience at the Petra Sella Hamman with a male attendant.

The staff was ready to help Despite what said on the site, the hotel is 40 min walking to the gate. The rooms are average and the bathroom much below that (no flushing toilet). Perhaps my bad impression is a result of the fact that it is now low season, but the hotel looked abandoned to itself

Very little. The room wasn't ready when we arrived. The lift didn't work. The staff were not very informative. The location was much further away from the entrance to Petra than was stated on the website. The hotel was rated as 3 star but is clearly only 2 star.

Staff were very accommodating. Food was very basic and definately not 'western'. Rooms were very dated and small. Ok for an overnight or passing through type requirement. Star rating was not 'european' rating... Very poor

The manager and staff are welcoming and at your disposal, they can arrange for you guide and give you advice to visit Petra and surrounding. The rooms have a nice view on Petra mountains. Just few hundreds meters of the town and the crowd

Tariq, one of the owners/managers, and all the staff were wonderful the entire stay - taking us out to see Little Petra for the sunset, cooking traditional Jordanian food for dinner, and driving us down and back for the "Petra at Night" visit. The rooms could be nicer/cleaner, and the breakfast buffet isn't amazing, but the people make this a great pick.

Hospitality of the staffs, readiness to arrange any necessary support. Location is a bit far from Petra, but still in a walking distance; convenient to get to the downtown for bank, shopping, etc. the view from the hotel is beautiful in a dawn and sunset. My stay was before the high season, and the hotel was in the middle of renovation; dining room was cold without a heater.

I stayed with my daughter for a weekend at this property. We were both very pleased with the high standard of service. All the staff (reception+service) were friendly, professional, and they couldn't do enough to please us, ie. The service was of the highest quality. Our room was lovely and had a great view of Petra, and the mountains. We had all our meals at the hotel, which were delicious, and very generous portions at a very reasonable cost. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone. The reception staff attended to all our needs-even organised a money changeover for us(dollars to Jordanian Dinars), without taking a commission. They also organised out taxi back to Aqaba at a better rate than we paid to get to Petra from Aqaba. Excellent service!!!!!

Very nice staff Maintenance of facility needs to be improved. One room had faucets that did not work and therefore no water in the sink. When we told them, they fixed it. Toilet that ran.
