It felt like camping in little huts with electricity (only between 8-11pm). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Homemade authentic food was delicious.

Lovely experience we will never ever forget. Everything about Seven Wonders was wonderful although the bed was perhaps not the most comfortable. Sami and his team were fantastic. The walk into the back way of Petra ( to the Monastary ) via Little Petra was superb.

The location was great, being just 5 minutes by car away from the entrance to Petra, but without any of the bustle of the town (you feel like you hours away). The tents are comfy and as long as you are not expecting luxury, you will not be dissapointed. My friends said they were very cold in the tent during the night, whereas we had no problem with the tempature, so make sure you ask for a nice warm blanket, which they will provide. The food was amazing, with a nice selection of bedouin style food cooked in the ground! There is selection for vegitarians as well. Finally, the facilities (toliet and shower), were by no means great, but much better than you would expect from a campsite, so more than good enough for me. I think we stayed during a particulary busy night, as there was a large tour group staying. For this reason, I don't think we got the attention to detail and care from the guys running it, but even so, they tried their best, and we enjoyed our stay.

Great straff, will go to great lengths to help you with anything. Although a bit expensive, count on this staff to provide you with a unique experience in Petra.

What a super experience! The "camp" is quite luxurious for what it is. There are permanent bathrooms including a shower (you can only have hot water at certain times, but I think even having a shower available in the desert is quite a feat). The staff is excellent, quite attentive and service oriented. The tents are comfortable and come with blankets and pillows (!). The camp is lit up at night via generator with tiny lights and it is quite a beautiful sight to see! Dinners were very delicious and breakfast was good.

Ataf and his staff were simply awesome! They really helped us plan a great trip and helped in all the logistics in order to maximize our two days in Petra. We were able to get to Wadi Musa and leave our luggage at the Rocky Mountain Hotel so we could have a half day in Petra, then they sent our bags to the camp and picked us up at the Park entrance. Jane at Rocky Moutnain was instrumental in helping us with those details. This is all very appreciated when you have two smalls kids and not as much time as you want to explore. Then the next day Ataf helped us plan an adventure to hike into the back entrance of the Monastery so we can see the entire Petra Park much better than the traditional way. His cousin Hashim, guided us and actually carried our 2 year old most all of the way. Super sketchy terrain too! It was wonderful! You don't get that kind of service ever! Please fix the chimney in the big tent! We had a great time hanging out around the fireplace but couldn't handle the smoke. Not just myself but several of the other guests cut there evening short b/c we were being asphyxiated. Also we went climbing around the rocks and there's a lot of trash around that could be cleared. All the trash took away from an otherwise beautiful environment.

Great spot, awesome staff, delicious food! Watching the sun set from the rocks and chilling by the fire were the highlights. Just a very relaxing place to be, could have stayed for another week but only had two days, unfortunately.

The Seven wonders camp was a little oasis in the desert. A simple place with many touches to make it special. Adequate bathroom and shower facilities with even a hairdryer supplied. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times and sweet tea was plentiful. I would not hesitate to stop here again. It made Petra a completley different experience to stopping in a hotel.

When you arrive, the hosts at Seven Wonders tell you this is your home, and it certainly felt that way. Atef and Sami and the rest were so warm and welcoming, always ready with a cup of tea. The meals are great, tents are very comfortable, and the showers very clean. Sleeping around the fire under the moon and stars was the highlight of my stay. I am ready to go back now!

This is a really amazing place to stay, the site is so beautiful in the evening all lit up. The tents are so comfortable and the staff very friendly. Stay here and be sure to peak out the tent during the night - I woke up at 4am and spent an hour watching the amazing night sky! The camp is fairly far out of the way but worth the extra effort. Try to use the lifts arranged by the camp rather than local taxi drivers.

Please note- I have marked this camp as excellent, however this is relevant to what it is. This is a Beduin camp in the desert and not a luxury hotel! This is a wonderful camp to spend a night chilling out before or after a tri to Petra. The staff were some of the friendliest people I have ever met, especially the owner Atef - we had a great night discussing politics sitting round a camp fire with a very knowledgable (yet young) Beduin man. Food was good, tents had everything you need for one night, toilet and showers adequate and nothing too much trouble for staff Don't expect luxury - it is a tent in a desert with limited water and limited electricity from a generator, if this is a problem then don't come here go to a hotel instead. Accept it for what it is and you will have a great time

What we have to say about the great camp? Just book and experience yourself. You will not regret at all!!! Although on our arriving day we faced a sandstorm, we slept outside under the stars. You feel so comfortable over here at the camp, it feels like staying with friends. Nothing is too much. Thanks to the whole team Hasham, Sal, Atef, Sami (and of course Jane and Hussein from Rocky Mountain where we also stayed for a few nights).

Seven Wonders is amazing! They are extremely welcoming and a lot of fun! The camp is especially beautiful at night and the perfect place to watch the sunset. Breakfast and dinner there are both very very good. I wish we could have stayed 5 more nights. By far the favorite part of my trip to Jordan. I strongly recommend taking a Bedouin guide to hike into Petra the back way. Practically no other tourist in sight for the first two hours and it is breath taking. If I ever go back to Jordan I will return to seven wonders for sure!

Very welcoming, comfortable and friendly. Excellent team. The description of "Bedouin Magic" is no exaggeration. The camp is clean and simple with delicious, wholesome local food. No hesitation to recommend. And a visit to view Little Petra is a must. If only they can provide hot water for morning showers it would be perfect.

Hussain runs a very friendly and atmospheric bedouin camp, great food and just magical setting with literally hundreds of candles placed all over the mountains as well as the camp. Very cuddly cats too, which for me was a bonus :o) They must have the hardest pillows i've ever encountered and the sheets and pillow cases could do with replacing!
