Room was big and had a very comfortable, roof terrace is nice, clean pool and great view of sunset.
From the moment we arrived, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very modern and clean with every amenity one could want. Bathroom was super clean and modern. Rooftop cafe/bar had excellent view of the town. Breakfast buffet and service in the morning were excellent. There was also a fabulous rooftop pool. Located about a 15-20 minute short walk from Petra. The general manager was very pleasant and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again.
One minor thing, the room had carpet on the floors. I would have preferred tile or wood.
Value for money hotel, VERY clean room with nice facilities, amazing Bathroom, comfy beds, nice swimming pool on the top, lovely view of the city of Petra, lovely staff.
i liked the hotel for its comfort and facilities. after walking for the whole day in petra valley the swimming pool on the roof was a real cure:-) the views from the roof are also stunning:-) the receptionist eyad al salameen was very helpful with the e-mails before i arrived, and with some technical assistance regarding problems with my computer, so thank you cordially, eyad:-)
the personnel at the breakfast were somewhat unpolite, but the breakfast was a very good self-service, one could choose from different things, there were things for anybody.
The hotel offered excellent facilities, and the staff were delightful and v helpful. A total surprise and utterly memorable occasion was a surprise , that incorporated a trip to Little Petra, and The Bedouin Camp. Truly spectacular. The manager. Abdul, was perfect, hospitable, friendly and interesting. Many Many thanks
Roof top terrace and the pool. Rooms are a good size and the staff were very helpful
The food in the restaurant.
Nice rooms, good location and good breakfast.
There is no parking, you have to leave your car on tne street.
Very nice, clean, spacious rooms. Good wi-fi, a great view from the terrace on the top floor. Eating dinner and swimming in the pool is definitely worthwhile.
Nice, clean, large, comfortable room with a lovely view over the town and mountains. Pool on the roof and terrace were very nice after a long day in Petra! Staff helpful and courteous. We stayed three nights and felt comfortable and at home.
everything is nice
Really good customer service, fantastic Turkish bath massage by Mohammed, and Abdullah's "evening surprise" event. Great value for money, and the meals we had were very, very good. Don't eat elsewhere!
Lack of "secure" parking, but Abdullah has plans to fix this soon.
This hotel made Petra the highlight of my trip to Jordan because of the staff and the owner/manager Abdullah. Nothing was too much trouble for him or for the staff of his hotel. They made me feel welcome, comfortable and they are brilliant at their jobs. On my first night, Abdullah brought me for a 'surprise' in Petra -absolutely amazing!!! I would 100% recommend this hotel and I will definitely come back.
Staff was very nice. Service was excellent. Hotel was very clean. I had a car so no problems here, but would be far of a walk if you didnt have one. Pool was nice but very cold (nice after a long day in Petra). Breakfast was great.
The decor just wasnt my taste. While clean, felt like I was staying at my Persian grandparents house. The rooms were had carpeting, a rare find in the middle east, and the carpet seemed a little dirty.
Roof top pool
Very steep hill back from Petra
We have stayed in different hotels in Petra (including the Movenpick) and can honestly say that the Seven Wonders is the best value for your money. This two year old hotel, managed by Mr. Abdullah Mashaleh and his excellent staff made our stay in Petra very memorable. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and extremely clean. The furniture in each room is of high end quality and their bathrooms are spacious with all of the amenities (bathrobes, slippers, tooyh brush, shampoo, etc). We were in suite 401 and the wrap-around balcony offered outstanding views of Wadi Musa and the surrounding area. The breakfast buffet has everything that we needed. If we could not find what we wanted at the buffet, all we had to do was ask the friendly staff what we wanted and it was quickly delivered to our table. The Seven Wonders has a beautiful pool at the top of the hotel that was extremely refreshing after a hot day visiting the ancient site of Petra. Pool bar staff offer refreshing drinks and menu items should someone want to eat snacks on the rooftop. If you are interested, ask Abdullah to take you to "The Secret Place." You won't be disappointed. The entrance to Petra is a short ten minute walk down the hill or a two dinar taxi ride. You can pay three times as much money and stay down at one of the hotels close to the entrance to Petra or pay a third of the price (and receive better service and the same or even better quality of rooms) and stay at the Seven Wonders Hotel. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel and want to thank again Mr. Abdullah for a wonderful and unforgettable evening sipping Rosemary tea with great conversation.
This hotel is very new with great comfortableness and friendly staff. It is located around the center of Wadi Musa town, which is a bit far away from the main gate of Petra yet it's convenient to find a lot of nice restaurants and supermarkets within the walking distance.
If the hotel can provide shuttle service to/from Petra, that will be perfect.
Hotel manager was so kind
The pool, the bathroom, the overall hotel is great. The TV was a bit wonky but everything else was great. Helpful staff and decent food in the restaurant.
The TV required manual changing and the channels were an example of 200 options and only 6 English speaking channels. Of the 6, 5 were news and 1 kids program. This is not the hotel's fault because it is like that across the country.
The views from the swimming pool, and the swimming pool it self
If you don't have a car, this is not you hotel. Be aware that the tax and the service is not included, that means around 25% more than the price in booking.
Excellent hotel - a real hiden gem. It felt very much like a boutique hotel - top quality clean room. Nice washroom. Staff was very helpful. I was stressing out when my rental car had a flat tire after visiting Petra. Thamer (hotel manager) hoped in the car with me and helped me find the mechanic. He even negotiated a fair price for me. I am extremely thankful for the staffs support - as I was able to hide the flat tire charge from the rental company ($400 for a new tire)...thank you Thamer!
No parking lot - had to park on street.
Staff was helpful, and the breakfast was ok. I have stayed here a few times and found the hotel to be affordable and comfortable.
Everything is really Arabic style: from the food till the furniture.... Hotel very noisy and quality of food really not correct... Also, it was written that Petra was reachable by walking -> travelers have already 15 min to walk before achieving Petra Site!
Excellent hotel: well-furnished, comfortable, accommodating staff. I would highly recommend it.
Very nice hotel, kind staff. Amazing breakfast and nice swimming pool on the roof. Confortable room and big bathroom. 15 minutes walking from visitor center.
We went to see Petra and just stayed one night. The hotel is great-clean, nice staff, good food and large rooms with all the amenities. I recommend it highly.
wi-fi not very good.
