Great location and very hospitable staff
The location is really good. Friendly and helpfull staff.
Maybe not very safe as the door of the dorm doesnt lock. Small hostel and few young travelers. Not really easy to meet People.
The location downtown. Helpful staff, they even refurnished the room for us.
Friendly staff and nice twin room with good facilities (private WC). Located near the city center. But easy to park the car in the car park located in the backyard, if you need. Average breakfast. Good wireless connection is a plus.
This is an ideal hotel for tourists who want to explore downtown. I chose this hotel based on the strong reviews for a downtown hotel. When comparing to other popular downtown hotels it was 100% non smoking and clean which was what I wanted. Its in a perfect location in Downtown, just 15 minutes walk from the Roman Theatre, three minutes walk from Hashem and a five minute taxi journey for the JETT bus to Petra. There are two local, English speaking restaurants just opposite, Linada and Jafra. My room was basic but clean, good air conditioning, personal safe, functional toilet (other downtown hotels had some questionable reviews!) and hot water at any time. There was a flight of steps to carry your luggage, but I am sure if you asked someone would help you up. Breakfast was just right for me - hard boiled eggs, za'atar, olives, bread, honey, jam and some cheese. Lunch/Dinner were larger meals so a smaller breakfast suited. I chose the room at the back ('mountain view room') which was a little more expensive but I didn't hear much street noise. Depending on how deep a sleeper you are you will hear the call to prayer at 5am, but this is part of the fun of being in the middle east! Ibrahim was fantastic and welcomed me immediately to the country with a coffee. This was needed as I had had a night flight and was pretty dazed once landed. I met other solo travellers here and made some friends to share my journey to Petra, so this is just right for a solo traveller. Of course I am sure there are bigger hotels with more facilities in Amman, but these are on the outskirts of the city, and if you want to explore the tourists sites you will need to get no end of taxi rides. So if you are wanting to see and experience the real city life - the Boutique Hotel is the ideal place.
The place has an awesome rooftop where nice afternoons and evenings can be spend. As soon as your laptop battery died you have to change though to the super tiny common area which is right in front of the reception, not much space for yourself and privacy. The place was super clean, however as the very friendly, helpful and lively woman responsible for cleaning left, cleanliness dropped immediatly.
The receptionist was nice but would have arguments with guests staying in the dorm whether there is space or no space. It didnt seemed well organized and sometimes painful. Things have to go his way, otherwise its wrong. I felt like its enough to provide me a bed, but not more than that (plus sometimes even that was a problem...) Unfortunately, I had constantly problems with the internet.
I opted for the dorm which was pretty decent, clean sheets and a comfortable bed.mr ibrahim a friendly man,he was super nice to allow me to hang around the hotel accessing the wi-fi and catching up with a friend, even though I didn't have reservations the last day :).
Ibrahim is an excellent host and helped me when I was sick and needed transport to the Hotel. The hotel provided me with many options for travelling to other locations at the best prices and made my stay as comfortable as possible. Big thanks!
Ibrahim, the manager, was so very helpful and funny and nice. Great location, yummy and filling breakfast. Clean space.
It was very noisy - between the car horns outside, traffic to the communal bathroom, and traffic to the roof top room/terrace, you will need ear plugs or headphones.
Excellent price Friendly owner Good location Secured door Helpful resources
Surrounding area was dirty Private bedroom did not have towels Small and a bit cramped
Location is downtown, booked an accomodation for me on arrival, personal rooms are clean and nice, the owner is a nice person :).
A bit noisy (with the street and early morning prayers) in the tent and dorm, shared toilet needs to be cleaned more often.
Very friendly staff Location right in the heart of old town
Location, cleanliness, price, Wi-Fi, kindly staff, no bed bug... I was really satisfied with this hotel.
Bathroom is in up stairs from dormitory room
Wonderful location right in the heart of the city, very friendly and helpful staff and a spacious rooftop terrace made me feel right at home in Amman. Overall a great vibe. I will be staying here again on my next visit.
The place has very nice and pleasent atmoshpere. The staff is willing to help and is able to advice on everything you want to know about Jordan. Convenient location.
staff is amazing, prices reasonable, attention to cleanliness, i must return soon!
seriously nothing. very pleased
it's not a 5 stars hotel, but very nice and quite in the down town. Don't be shocked by the look from outside. There are many restaurants near it and one is a very famous traditional restaurant. It is very fresh inside and no condition required. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. I'd recommend to visit it.
It might be a bit difficult to sleep in because of the cars noises.
Bathroom is extremely clean that I thought they were brand new. Bed seem small but when you laydown its so confy and clean. This hotel is one of the best for people who just want to sleep and wake up next morning checking out
No tv :(
Can't be more satisfied with the Boutique Hotel Amman. Ibrahim is a smart man who knows everything about Jordan and will offer you the exact helpful information. He is open-minded and will become your friend in the first minute if you meet. Ann is a nice woman who keeps the hotel clean and the atmosphere joyful. In short: Highly recommended!
The friendly staff, cleanliness, location,Wifi. I stayed there for 3 days and came back to stay for some more time.i meet so many friends from different parts of the world. They help in making necessary arrangement's for ground transportation and making other guest on sharing basis which is quit good for backpackers for saving loot of money. Overall i'm glad and really appreciate the service and staff..Thanks surely i'm going to come back.
I only small issue i found is the Toilet, washroom for dormitory is upstairs but which can be ignored.
This is the most wonderful hostel that I 've ever been ! staff , price, and comfort all at the best level ! Ibraham, which is the very kind, friendly boss of the hostel even help me with planning my trip , and we chat and discuss about the newspaper I bought in Egypt :) . the location is perfect ,too! Hi Ibraham ^^! This is Donkey from Taiwan~~ don't forget my postcard XD tks~~ 非常推薦各位來住! 附近也很好逛 餐廳、各種小吃都很多^^
The staff were very friendly, the room clean and comfortable, the prices exactly what I was looking for. I'd strongly recommend the Boutique Hotel to any traveller looking for comfy budget accommodation. The staff also gave me good advice on tourism, helped with taxis and looked after my stuff the day that I checked out. I'll stay again if I visit Amman. Good location too for seeing the Citadel.
Nothing - I thought this place was great. For travellers who care about things like the condition of the stairwell, or the state of repair of the building, I'd note that it is far from a cookie-cuttie modern and swish hotel. Personally, I think this is part of the charm, and the rooms themselves are in good condition, so for me it was in fact a bonus star!
I couldn't have had a better introduction to Jordanian hospitality and cant say enough about how friendly and welcoming this hotel was. I was set to start working in the West Bank and was having trouble getting across the border and the staff went out of their way to help me with my issues and with my stay in Amman, even moving me into a more comfortable room and a very generously reduced rate. The lobby area is a great place for conversation and an escape from the bustle and noise of downtown Amman, and everyone has great advice about things to do around town. The dorm is standard for hostel/hotel dorms, but the private rooms are very clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Amman.
Excellent price, good location, friendly stuff
A bit hot in the dormitory
