As a solo female traveler, I could not have felt any safer. When I first walked in I was very impressed with how nice it was it is a simple, yet very elegant place. Everything you read about the staff being wonderful is true. I could not have been happier with the service provided. They were very helpful organizing a taxi service for me for both days, including my taxi to the King Hussein Bridge. The taxi service was a little expensive, but over the 2 days, I did get 11 hours worth of private tours. The room was good size and in decent shape. I was on the 2nd floor, overlooking the market. I did not find there to be a problem with the noise from the traffic, the souk, or the mosque, but I am also very used to the call to prayer. The bed was very comfortable and the blanket was very plush. The bathrooms are not as updated as the rest of the room. The bathrooms are clean, which for me is way more important than a marble counter top. The water was also very hot. Breakfast for the most part was very good (eggs, potatoes, roasted veggies, breads, dips, pancakes, and fruit). I enjoyed having something other than just hummus. I did not have dinner there so I cannot comment. Their restaurant is open 24 hours. I did try Al Quds, down the hill I did not enjoy the food. The other place I tried, Gheith, is up the hill towards the mosque. Ask the hotel about it, it is very good Arabic food. These are not all things that I did not like, just things possible guest might like to know: It is about 2 kilometers away from the downtown area with the shops and restaurants. I enjoyed this, because it seemed quieter and more relaxed. It is about a 2 JD cab ride down the hill to everything, do not let the driver tell you 5. As everyone has mentioned, Wireless in the room is not free, but it allowed me to relax when I was in the room, instead of constantly working. The common areas in the lobby do have internet, which worked fine during my visit. For those that actually care about watching TV, don't expect a fancy one. The only thing that really I did not like was the pita.

Location is good, only a 5-10min drive (~2jd taxi fare) from 1st Circle/Rainbow street. Rooms are good size with flat screen TVs with satellite Channels. Breakfast is mainly arabic themed (which is a good thing) with huge variety of hot and cold things to choose from. Free Wi- fi is available but only in the lobby. Staff was great, helpful and professional. You can arrange good value excursions through the Reception (choice of mini bus or private taxi) Bathroom fittings are in need of updating. Cleanliness was acceptable but could be improved. Please note that about half of the rooms have no view (they look into a multistorey car park attached to the hotel, only a few meters away from the window.

Value for money. Best rates for the kind of comfort and luxury Toledo is offering. Centrally located within city limits. Staff is friendly and our stay was very comfortable. Would highly recommend and also like to stay again at the same hotel for the next time. Breakfast: Need some slight changes in the menu. We ate the same stuff for three straight mornings!

Public areas are delightfully decorated in Moorish style. Free wi-fi is available in public areas, where there are comfortable lounges available to relax. Breakfast was of a high quality. The staff were fantastic and helpful in every way, from writing out place names in arabic for taxi drivers; recommending places; explaining how to get around and accommodating a later check-out due to flight times. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Pool areas available only on alternate days for men and woman, Understand the cultural reason for this, but wonder if an hour or two each day could be made available for mixed bathing?

Great staff, spacious rooms, amazing buffet breakfast with a varied range of both arabic and western dishes. Its 24 hour restaurant was very useful, and the food is quite good.

There is nothing specific to mention about this hotel. It's nice and tidy but nothing special. Hotels in Amman are all relatively expensive compared to let's say average European cities (being tourist destinations). I consider this a fair deal. Tip: you can buy Jordanian sweets behind the post office just across the square; very nice and a well known shop since 1860 or so. TIP: the doorman caters regular taxis and private ones. Try Mohammed the Palestinian driver with an old Mercedes estate wagon, good ride for a fair price. Mobile no: 079 53 783 47 You'll need a car or taxi to reach places in Amman since it's so hilly and lacks a real centre. Oh yes, this environmental twist they gave their business, so annoying all these cards in your room about saving the planet. Don't get me wrong, I care for this planet as much as you do, but coming from a society where the environmental care is already incorporated in all policies it seems a bit over the top. They even had a plastic container in the hallway. And by the way, the airco was not cold enough! Probably an environmental issue?!

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Very good value for money even if looking a bit tired. Twin room was huge though a little dim however this wasn't a problem. Bathroom also spacious though slightly dated. Very clean though. Not much in the immediate area though about a 20min walk to the Citadel.

The hotel is very nice. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I received a free room upgrade when I checked in, as well. A decent breakfast was available each morning. And they were able to arrange drivers and tours on your behalf. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay at the hotel again in future. Many of the views from your room are quite obstructed. Dinner was a bit expensive, so I would recommend finding a local restaurant or cafe to enjoy dinner in the evenings.

The best aspect of the Toledo is the staff. They were very caring and kind. One even quoted that this experience should be like a second home and it was genuinely meant. The rooms are not modern but that's hardly the hotels fault, it is an oldish building but extremely clean and well looked after. We stayed for four nights and have now been in three other hotels in Jorden and none have been as warm as the Toledo. We all would happily stay at the Toledo again, should ever the need arise. The bathrooms could do with a slight modernisation but considering what you are paying for then it was perfectly adequate.

Our stay at Toleda was great. It is in a good city centre location which is within a 2.5km walk to the Roman Theatre and Citadel with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good with a decent selection of choices.Rooms are spacious with good in room facilities. Great value for money suited for travellers and businesses, we would gladly stay at Toledo again.
