As a solo female traveler, I could not have felt any safer. When I first walked in I was very impressed with how nice it was it is a simple, yet very elegant place. Everything you read about the staff being wonderful is true. I could not have been happier with the service provided. They were very helpful organizing a taxi service for me for both days, including my taxi to the King Hussein Bridge. The taxi service was a little expensive, but over the 2 days, I did get 11 hours worth of private tours. The room was good size and in decent shape. I was on the 2nd floor, overlooking the market. I did not find there to be a problem with the noise from the traffic, the souk, or the mosque, but I am also very used to the call to prayer. The bed was very comfortable and the blanket was very plush. The bathrooms are not as updated as the rest of the room. The bathrooms are clean, which for me is way more important than a marble counter top. The water was also very hot. Breakfast for the most part was very good (eggs, potatoes, roasted veggies, breads, dips, pancakes, and fruit). I enjoyed having something other than just hummus. I did not have dinner there so I cannot comment. Their restaurant is open 24 hours. I did try Al Quds, down the hill I did not enjoy the food. The other place I tried, Gheith, is up the hill towards the mosque. Ask the hotel about it, it is very good Arabic food. These are not all things that I did not like, just things possible guest might like to know: It is about 2 kilometers away from the downtown area with the shops and restaurants. I enjoyed this, because it seemed quieter and more relaxed. It is about a 2 JD cab ride down the hill to everything, do not let the driver tell you 5. As everyone has mentioned, Wireless in the room is not free, but it allowed me to relax when I was in the room, instead of constantly working. The common areas in the lobby do have internet, which worked fine during my visit. For those that actually care about watching TV, don't expect a fancy one. The only thing that really I did not like was the pita.

Staff were very helpful. Great food. Clean room. They gave me a free room upgrade. The Toledo is a warm, friendly, safe and relaxing place to stay in a pleasant part of the city. I would recommend it. All the staff spoke good English. They have a taxi service to the airport which is helpful.

We could not have been better looked after in a 5* hotel. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The standard of cleanliness, not only in the bedrooms, but through out the hotel was of the highest. The driver arranged by the hotel ensured that we saw all the the important sites in the country and his charges were very reasonable. When next we go to Amman we will definitely stay at the Toledo Amman Hotel.

The staff was great from the moment of arrival through when the shuttle took us to the airport. In a country where so little is predictable in terms of service, this hotel exceeds expectations and offers an affordable hotel with good food and good accommodations.

Excellent staff - always friendly; helpful well beyond the call of duty; and always smiling no matter how difficult the request. Rooms are a decent size; reasonably equipped and clean. Central location made it easy to get around. Very reasonably priced. Breakfast was okay although not extensive.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The first night was spent in a room with a very unpleasant view but luckily we were moved to a room with a much better view. We definitely appreciated the willingness of the staff to do this. The management of the hotel should do something (a big effort) to clean the parking structure and garbage dump view from some of the rooms. It is very, very depressing.Otherwise, the hotel was a good value.I Would recommend the hotel because of the staff and value, but with a caveat for the views.

The hotel though boasts about a 3 star tag with them is not much upto their claims. The location of the hotel is however quite well placed making all the attractions of Amman withinthe reach of a quick drive. The rooms are clean and air-conditioned.The staff are very pleasing and always there to provide you with any sort of assistance. However the breakfast at the hotel restaurant is way below all that I imagined. They claim of a well placed continental breakfast but lacks all the dishes that are inevitable.Though the buffet opens at 0630hrs most of the dishes get into the buffet only by around 0930hrs.Once again the staff have the difficulty of following English and they are usually pretty helpful is misleading us.On the whole it's worth a stay for those weary travellers to give a night's rest.

I read a comment here on booking.com before I made a reservation, One guy said "5 star hotel service for value of 3 star hotel" and indeed this is what I found in Toledo hotel. Great location, available parking outside, friendly staff, clean rooms, and value for money. Varieties in breakfast.

We got an upgrade when we arrived so stayed in a suite which was great. Very very clean room but slightly dated, although still clean bathroom. Only 14 tv channels, with 2 if them being English but that would be my only comment. Good location & very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is fantastic.

Hotel staf as everybody saying are really nice and friendly If you dont smoke then dont even think about going to this hotel I got no-smoking room but the smell of the cigarettes was so strong in the bed that I couldnt even sleep because of it...the entire hotel stinks...everybody smoks everywhere, in the loby and corridors and the rooms..just everywhere in the hotel. And the other thing I didnt like was the very old small T.v with very limited T.v chanels .I stayed for one night so I couldnt judge the hotel as good or bad in general but I say again this hotel is a ( no go ) for those who dont smoke ^_^

Looking back the one thing that stands out most from my stay was the food from the restaurant that was mainly buffet (8jd pp all you can eat) and it was different everyday and quite honestly it was very good! After traveling to 4 different Arabic countries in the past week it was nice having a good meal at your door steps (home cooked style). Service was great. The price of the hotel was very reasonable comparing the prices in Amman that are quite high 1jd=1eur almost. The hotel overall is a 3 star hotel but it could be easily considered a 4 star to realistic standards of other same star hotels for the price. The advertised pool and spa images are real but the upkeep of these facilities are not up to the hotel standard since these facilities are on the bottom floor (main street level) and are also used by locals. Although its divided between men on certain days and women on others. The machines are new but the overall facility is not kept fully clean all the time. The wifi works on the lobby, restaurants area and they will charge you 9jd to have it 24hrs in your room which I think is ridiculous because it should be free also as its not that fast. Last they offered a pick up service to the airport for 35jd when you can take a taxi for a flat fee of 19jd from the airport. The hotel is located Amman North for taxi rate reference.

Friendly staff (and manager) who take good care of you. Great breakfast buffet. Clean rooms. Windows need to be cleaned, you could hardly see through them (but I was told there were renovations going on). Room service food was a bit poor (I ordered the chicken burger).

The staff was excellent , very friendly and could speak very good english The room was big and clean. And evrything for comfort was provided. I had booked a room with a view, (over the city) When my grandson and I arrivd we were upgraded in a bigger room, but had no view, instead we looked in a backyard with rubble . In the end we got used to it and did not look out the windo anymore.

We stayed at the Toledo in Amman after a week-long road trip through Jordan. We just wanted a clean, easy, affordable, convenient place, and the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, and accommodated all of our requests (early-morning wake-up, breakfast, taxi arrangements) with a smile. We parked in a weird location, so one of the staff came with us to the car and moved it for us. The location is superb and the room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
