Offering tree-lined outdoor pools overlooking the waters of the Dead Sea, the 5-star Kempinski features a private stretch of beach and a spa offering sea mud and sea salt treatments.
Score from 922 reviews Excellent
Very hard to find, specially in night. If you are walking - little chance to find. Husband stuck in elevator for 5 min, nobody was hurting up to rescue him.
Friendly staff, good food, nice room, clean pool, and good service
clean room and excellent breakfast
staff not welcoming, dirty corridors and elevators, boring check of the car at the entrance, the beach seems a construction site, services and facilities are at the minimum for the price. The pedestrian way to the beach is new but already completely destroyed, the beach and the swimming pools are dirty.
Staff is not trained or supervised and they are not friendly at all Very poor cleaning of the rooms
The price of the hotel is much cheaper than other resort hotels scattered near the beach. But you get exactly what you have paid for, nothing more, probably less.
The hotel is very inconveniently located. There is absolutely nothing, no supermarkets, no restaurants, even no grocery stores within a reach. The beach is also far from the hotel and you have to take a shuttle bus from the hotel. The shuttle bus is supposed to come every 30 mins, but it never comes on schedule. There are no faicilites available on the beach except middle-size towls. Quite disappointing.
Nothing at all !!
I booked through booking.com, when we arrived he asked me if we are couples or singles, we told him that we are singles, he said we cant let u in !!! I told him we already booked our rooms, and we came like 200 KM driving, he said ok now we will cancel your booking!!! I swear, just like that !! I told him it's not mentioned anywhere thatvwe should be couples, he said i cant write a 7 pages policis just to make you happy!!! After alot of fights he transferred us to anothet hotel which was a peice of crap ! I would never recommend any one to go to this hotel, because there is high probability that they will cancel your reservation without any excuse !!
We have been upgraded to a suit room that was very big and confortable and with a huge terrace with sea view. Staff is very friendly and kind, food at the restaurant is quite good and room service very quick. It was possible to have free muds on the beach. Swimming pool is quite big and water clean enought despite the amount of people using it.
Beach is a bit far to walk at but free shuttle bus have regular rides every half an hour. They write 2free bottles of water are supplied daily but we have got them just the day of our arrival.
no booking for me when i came to this hotel, after calling booking.com, the reception man give me the key of the room, after waiting 40 minutes

Out of the array of hotels at the Dead Sea, we picked this one because the price seemed a little more reasonable than some of the others, especially considering the quality you still get. It definitely was the right choice for us, as the standard and quality of the hotel are still quite high. It looks inviting and elegant, the rooms are comfortable, the staff is very professional and polite, everything was very clean, the pool is great, breakfast was very good and the view of the Dead Sea, the surrounding desert and especially the sunset is amazing. We also liked that this hotel is further down the street from the other ones, and therefore not crammed in between other resorts.
Location: It took us quite a while to find the hotel by car, as we couldn't find a signpost guiding us to it when coming from the south. Once we drove past it, thus coming from the north, there was a series of signs so that worked out in the end. Beach: We hadn't understood beforehand that the hotels private beach can only be accessed via a shuttle bus or by walking 1 km. the shuttle bus worked well, every 30 mins and even upon request to the driver, and the walk isn't far. Just would have been good to know. This didn't affect our stay negatively at all though. Rooms: since the hotel is situated vertically to the sea, you may not have a sea view from rooms at the very back of the building and all views, but the frontal suite ones, are a little sideways. To us these negatives were rather minor though, and we would definitely stay there again.
The comfortable atmosphere, the staff was really nice
The beach is really far from the hotel, the variety of food choices is poor
why you people took away alcohols from us. Ur prices are not normal . close the beach on the evening. close the pool on the evening.
just price i think its very good compared with other Dead Sea hotels
swimming pool its soooo small and only 1.6 M and there is nothing you can do in hotel
Dead Sea, private beach very big room
extremely loud music in the swimming pools area on Friday during whole day
The location was good for day trips out to Israel, Mount Nebo and the baptism site. The beach was basic but good for the Dead Sea experience and the hotel offered a shuttle service every half an hour to take you there. The lebanese restaurant offered good food and value for money (if the restaurant is not open ask to be served the menu from the chillax bar or elements).
The only negative was the limited options for eating and socialising in the evening. Without a car there is nowhere outside of the hotel and whilst we visited in low season it was very quiet with limited atmosphere. Bottom line: it is much cheaper than the other options (Kempinski/ Movenpick) and so you get what you pay for. For 2/3 nights it is a good base and good value for money.
Beach People-staff Weather Food Simple everything!
We liked the location, the rooms were fairly spacious.
We did not like that when we arrive at 6PM (right before sunset) the people at reception and at the pool told us we could not go to the Dead Sea, while a few minutes later we saw a mini shuttle taking some tourists there. We could have walked to the Dead Sea (a 7-8 minute walk) and at least enjoyed a quick bath. The hotel has not been well maintained, despite not looking that old. The shower in our room was not properly built and the water did not drain. The minibar was empty and the refrigerator was not running. There is only one restaurant in the hotel with mediocre buffet food.
The private beach
No choice of food option I.e. A la carte only buffet.
A shuttle away from the dead sea, and that is provided by the hotel. A wonderful experience of the dead sea, thanks to the arrangements made by the hotel, be it the pool, towels, showers, or the mud/clay. Comfortable bed .. Got a good sleep.
The staff at reception are extremely cold and bear a hassled look. While I struggled to pull my bag which got stuck in their door mat, they kept string at me. No one offered to help. We ordered falafel pakora much to our disappointment for dinner.
Good location, nice pool, comfortable room, good food.
Cockroaches in the bathroom. Construction going on around the hotel. The hotel has a very new, not quite finished feel about it and staff are helpful but show signs of inexperience. My room was very nice but the triple room we booked turned out to be a double with a camp bed, not really suitable for 3 women.
the location and the setup was very nice. the staff was extremely helpful. Junior suite was a bit small for us, ( two adults and two kids) but the staffwas nice enough to move things around and it worked out. the best feature is the staff.
Breakfast the tea water was not hot, only warm, the fruit was not fresh and bread was also stale.
beach breakfast expensive rates on pool bar
Rooms balcony was very dirty
the music in the swimmingpool too loud! If you ask a Taxi from the hotel expect to pay an extra fee...
Weather very good. Close to Dead Sea. Towels available on request for pool & sea. Breakfast good variety. on site parking. safe.
Evening meal time could be very busy tables not set/cleaned on time for next guest's. Water/Alcohol very expensive & guests not allowed to bring food/drink in to hotel.
