Directly connected to New Chitose Airport, Air Terminal Hotel offers spacious rooms with free wired internet and an LCD TV with pay programmes. A Japanese/Western buffet breakfast is served at the dining room. The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Air Terminal come with an electric kettle, a mini-fridge and an en suite bathroom. Slippers, green tea and a hairdryer are provided. Sapporo city is about a 40-minute train ride away, and Odori Park and Nakajima-koen Park are both about a 60-minute train trip. Guests arriving before check-in time can leave their luggage at the front desk. Convenient as it is inside the airport. Breakfast and Onsen is inclusive. Many restrictions; 1) as we have to be back by 11 pm otherwise we have to make a big detour to come into the hotel 2) the last JR train from Sapporo departs at 2145hrs. This is the last train to Chitose airport.

convenient. It is in the airport - close to the International terminal shopping and Japan Rail station. Breakfast buffet was great. Service staff were amazing. Carpets looked dirty and warn.

Convenient location. Staff helpful and polite. "Nonsmoking " room reeked of cigarette smoke. Room tiny and poorly ventilated. Bed rock hard. Pillows smelly. Bathroom so small had to bend double to have a shower.

Free access to the airport onsen was a big plus. You can spend hours there and the facilities was great. Shopping in the airport was great and you can leave your luggage with the hotel before your checkin time. The rooms were a little small and very limited number of tv channels.

Clean and neat, comfortable. Very welcoming staff. Nice breakfast. Absolutely no bother with the planes: very good sound isolation plus no flights at night. It's even romantic - seeing the planes taking of and landing right out of your window. Less than an hour to center of Sapporo via jr. Very good place to spend a night if you have to arrive to Chitose and go away next day. You have to come back to the hotel no later than 11p.M., as the airport closes at this time.

Location - easy and quick to get to a bed once you have landed from a long overseas flight 11 am check out time Clean Room stuffy and unable to bring in any fresh air Carpets stained and looked old Walls marked Over priced

I liked the proximity to the airport,the onsen and the sturdiness of the building. The internet facilities were not up to date, and noone even talked to me about the earthquake which was very scary and meant that I didn't sleep between 11.18pm and the morning when I had to fly back to Australia. Are earthquakes so regular there that it is not even discussed?

Free access to the Onsen and Spa in the airport was a great extra. Wish we had more time to spend in the Onsen. Surprisingly also a great range of low cost gourmet restaurants in the airport.

Very convenient. Adequate room size. Bed firm and comfortable. Quiet overnight. Rooms looked very tired - marks on walls, peeling wallpaper, stain on carpet. Had to make sure you ordered food at the airport eateries by 8.00pm as they close promptly at 8. All shops closed and it was difficult to find anywhere to have a drink.
