The location is good, about 5 minutes walk to the bus stop. The hotel shuttle leaves about every 15 minutes to the train station. The staff is friendly and helped me to decide on a sightseeing route for the day.

The room was not clean. Dust on several surfaces. The room seemed very old, the bathroom even worse. It is not easy to find the shuttle bus when you arrive at the train station unless you have exact directions - go to McDonald's !

Location, shuttle bus service, cleanliness, helpful staff

Room furniture and carpet look a little "tired" and soon need to be replaced

all service / services we were very happy with.

we were happy with everything but if I was forced to pick something it would be the lack of availability of the shuttle buss late evenings from Kyoto centre. perhaps one late shuttle at about 11:45 from Kyoto station to the hotel would be very popular.

Very poor English skills from the staff. No flexibility in getting us served at dinner (we arrived at 9:05pm, restaurants closing at 9:30, they refuse to let us in).

The free shuttle bus and the staff were very nice.

The lights are controlled by the key card and you cannot manually controll all the lights. Going to the restroom at night was difficult. There was a festival there that we wanted to see the lighting from the roof too. We were denied access to it just to look at it and was never told we needed a reservation until the time of the festival. We were not happy.

Rooms were spacious , clean , staff very helpful and friendly. The bar downstairs was amazing , bit expensive.

It's far from the center , you need to know the bus system . There was no safe in the room , I believe they had one downstairs , who will carry thier stuff up and down. We went in August , where it was very hot and the AC was not that good.

To enter the swimming pool a very high fee is asked (if you are a family with children this really stops you from using the pool).

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Free shuttle bus to and from kyoto station was very handy.

Awful movie selection on the TV.

The wedding with breckfast! And It was good, even if it was a little bit expensive : 2000Yen

The discrimination : I was forbidden to access to the swimming pool. Just because I have a Tattoo on the shoulder. It is the only country in the world who can do do that. So many people in the street with Tattoo everywhere. They must be forbidden to walk in the street too?! I was hurted so much in my heart. I stayed 1 month in Japan. This is the first time that I was forbidden. I'll never forget.

I liked the atmosphere and spacious (in japan scale) rooms. Everything was clean and well kept, not the newest but ok. Subway and nijojo castle were near, as well as the emperial park. Free shuttle was good way to travel to railway station. Kiva paikka, voisin mennä uudestaankin. Ilmainen kuljetus rautatieasemalta shuttle bussilla.

You had to pay extra for the swimming pool and sauna. However it was good if you paid once, you could use the spa, swimming pool, gym and sauna again that day.

Nice clean rooms with all the mod cons. Great breakfast selection. Fairly central hotel and easy to find.

Air conditioning and room decor could do with a bit of a refresh. But other than that, no issues at all!

The room is spacious and there is a special pillow service and information on how to sleep well with the supply of tea and eye patches.

As hotel guests, we should not have to pay for the use of the hotel facilities such as the spa and pool. The meals at the restaurant hotel are too pricey.

Room size and standard was good, the shuttle to the station was really useful. It stops at the south exit of the station, near McDonalds and the taxi parking.

Had to type a long and complicated wifi code on each device, breakfast too expensive (2500). Restarants outrageously expensive.

In general it is good. Supply of Shampoo, soaps and conditioner was good. Shuttle to Kyto station is very good. This should be informed to the guests. Also, one stop in Kyoto downtown would give extra value to the customer but no extra cost to the hotel.

Extra charges. Water bottles should be complementary, at least two per day (500ml*2). Maintain Shower head, it was leaking.
