elegant, young and modern design. artistic atmosphere. organic breakfast. a very quite zone.
a little far from the center: fifteen minutes walking from kyoto station o five minutes from the nearest metro.
Very very nice place~ I would like to recommend my friend when they goto Kyoto~
really cool place
WiFi wasn't great
The hotel location is a metro stop away from Kyoto Central Station, although 7-8 minutes walking need to be done from the metro stop to the hotel. The area is quiet and we liked it but it can be excessively quiet for others looking for more life around the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and they provided us with all the information and bookings we required. The bicycle service is very useful in a city like Kyoto. The breakfast served at the hotel restaurant is exceptional and the bar at the lobby has a good atmosphere at night. The lobby is set as an art gallery giving a good ambience to the hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The AC is a bit oudated but working well. Washing machines are available to guests 24 h free of charge, which is an exceptional idea not offered in other hotels.
Most delicious breakfast I have ever eaten in a hotel! The food was a mixture of Japanese and Western style and very tasty.
the staff is very friendly, location is very good which just besides gate of metro.
very clean and quite.
Hotel is a little bit far away from the night life.
Reasonable room rates.
Hotel was about 15-20 minute walk from train station, or one subway stop away but 10 minute walk still required.
Great breakfast and good sized room and bed.
Difficult to find and poor access to station
like everything the staff help and especially the special breakfast
Everything was great.
Nothing to report.
Everything is good. Above all is the kindness, motivation and efficiency of the hotel staff which was very helpful for us who did not understand japanese Excellent staff
Hotel is near the main Kyoto station, bus stop and subway. Everywhere is walking distance. Staffs were really helpful and equipped with maps, bus daily pass, and etc. The hotel also provide suggestion what is a good restaurant nearby. Overall very satisfied.
This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Room was comfortable, and so was the bed. The breakfasts were brilliant. Definitely would recommend anyone who is planning to go on a trip in Kyoto. And I saw another traveler mentioned that the way back to the hotel was quite dark at night. To me, it wasn't dark at all as there were street lights. So I felt pretty safe to walk alone. I wouldn't just give anteroom a like, I would rather give it a love instead. Love love love love this hotel!!
Design, comfort bed, delicicious breakfast
Not transparent windows -no view from the window, noise from the street
design atmosphere services
The hotel is just a 10 minutes walk from Kyoto JR station. City center is a little further but it only makes it a better and quieter place to rest. Even though it might seem quiet and remote, not only there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, sightseeing such as Toji temple is within walking distance.
Non-smoking rooms only.
