Location is perfect for experiencing a real life of the city. Fish Market and the surroundings are worth exploring for those you would like to know the culture of the people living there.
When it is raining it is impossible to get a cab and there is no dedicated service for the hotel guests.
Room was very clean but smaller than what I am used to in the United States. To be expected in Tokyo. Still Plenty of room for me as I traveled alone on this trip.
The position was perfect and the hotel was extremely clean, tidy and safe.
The room was very small with very little hanging space for clothes. Other than that it was a good hotel, value for money.
The APA hotels are great. The room was elegant, though a bit small, but the staff was very helpful, even when I arrived and needed a different kind room than the one I booked.
They have a restaurant, but it's only open in the morning.
Hotel is 5-10 mins walk to Tsukiji fish market. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
Maybe difficult to find at night from metro station.
- location! (if you plan to visit Tsukiji market, the hotel is a very good place to spend the night)
Location, 5 minutes walk from Tokyo metro tsukiji. Situated in a quiet area yet only 2 stops from Ginza on metro. There are 3 or more convenient stores nearby and very reasonable price. There is also a 24h take away store selling Japanese rice meals.
Location to fish market. Well appointed rooms. Easy walk from train station.
Pillows - flat and no support.
Good location of the hotel.
The hotel has no own parking space for the car.
The hotel was modern.
It was very small and the metro station was far away.
location good for the fish market / nice area
matress was very old and needed to be replaced. I mentioned this in the morning and they said they knew! and if you like clean, don't look under the beds.....ever
- Location : 5-10 mins walk from metro Tsukiji Exit 1 - Convenient store : Lawson and 7/11 just steps away - Foods : Sushi, Japanese dishes steps away and one opens 24/7 - Check in-out : fast n easy
- Room size : double bed is too small for two people - Mattress : too soft; I feel like falling off the edge of the bed - Shower curtain : not very clean; at the bottom especially
It's walk distance to Ginza and Tokyo station. Several convenient stores and small restaurants around. The bed is really really soft, you find difficult to stand up once lie down or sit in.
Charge for computer use for extra 1000! I only used it for 15 minutes, but they only have the rental for whole night, not able to charge by minutes.
THIS HOTEL IS 5-7 MINS OF WALK TO TSUJIKI MARKET. IF YOU KEEN TO WATCH THE TUNA AUCTION . IS A GOOD CHOICE TO STAY. BY THE WAY,NUMBER OF VISITOR FOR TUNA AUCTION ONLY LIMITED TO 120 PERSONS. SO ADVISE TO GO THERE BEFORE 4AM.
Friendly staff Very close to Tsukiji and Shinbashi The hotel was very clean Comfortable bed
Relatively small room Some staff do not speak English
breakfast not included, there was nothing to put the clothe in, the bed was not good at all, receptionists barely spoke English while for that standard, in Tokyo, they should.
Quiet, near Tsukiji Market and subway station, small but clean room.
Kind of hard to find at the beginning
small but a very comfortable room.
modern facility, very close to the fish market
average service of the frontdesk staff
Proximity to Tsukiji market where the sushi, sashimi, every Japanese seafood you can think of, are totally fantastic. The neighbourhood is very quiet and there are two convenience stores nearby.
Slightly difficult to find the hotel as it's not at the corner nor it has a huge signboard. However, I met a very friendly local who brought me to the hotel.
So close to Tsukiji fish market, and very affordable
Room very small for two people if you plan to stay more than one night
We like the staff
Too expensive in such a small room
Very near to Tsukiji Market - 5 min to 10min walk, quite a number of convenient shops incl 7-11 just opposite the hotel, plenty of place to eat & drink :)))
Location to Tsukiji market.
Staff very aloof, cold, no personality. Stayed at property on two occasions on same trip (returned from Kyoto). First stay, Front desk clerk (he) very nice and accomodating. Return stay (she was very impersonal, almost rude). Will not ever return to this property again. There are many other properties in Tokyo. Very disappointed with this one.
Location is perfect for visiting Tsukiji fish market
Room was small and hotel has no additional facilities
