Location is good although it is at the top of a steep hill
We were really disappointed with the room. Was very small without any windows . Having stayed in tokyo many times for this price we expected more and found the images on the site misleading
Bed was extremely comfy. Location is good, just a couple of minutes by foot from the famous Shibuya crossing. Breakfast did not have a huge selection of food but it was nice. Staff was friendly.
Was not allowed to check in before 3pm, unless I paid extra. I was able to leave my luggage though. Note that the rooms are very small, for 1 person it was OK but for 2 it might be a bit crampy.
Near to city Shibuya and staff is friendly
Pillow to small and when winter season heater is on..some guest might need air condition to sleep
noisy because all floors are connected indoor
Decent location from everything and subway/trains. It was pretty clean and nice tub to take a long bath.
Window could have been bigger and the check in time could have been couple hours earlier than 3 pm.
Internet, Locale, Cleanliness
Coordination of the Staff
Location - literally just up the hill from Shibuya 109 ! Simplicity - rooms was easy to manage, had everything you need. Staff - really helpful and polite.
Rooms were very small if you're travelling with luggage. We coped, and were travelling in winter with more clothes than usual.
Location is awesome!! staff are helpful with whatever we needed eg.directions, transportation.
pillow was a lil too flat. Room we were in was a lil too small for two friends. but all right for a couple. :) bed was not made during our stay of 3nights. :(
The location of the hotel close to Shibuya station was excellent both for the Narita express connection to the airport, the JR line and the metro to sightsee in Tokyo. The area also has a great vibe and a number of good shops and restaurants. The hotel reception is great and the room although small had everything one needed. It even had a fridge and there was even access to a microwave, washing machine and dryer. I would definitely go to this hotel again. It would be nice to have an English new channel for free.
The fact that we were on the 8th floor which was a non smoking floor and our room stank of smoke!
The safety that the hotel provide (using cards to access to the facilities )
The internet was a but slow and the location is not far from the station but it is very difficult to walk up hill to the hotel with big luggage
Everything in order, clean, the service excellent.
Pretty small room, as the japanese style.
The price was reasonable, they cleaned the room daily and provided us with new items like toothbrush, tea, coffee, kimono, towels water daily. Even when we ask them to not clean the room they left the items on the door. The bathrooms had hot water all the time, and heater systems in the room, since my trip was in the winter. It was so freaking close to everywhere ♡ the location of this hotel is the best. I would definitely book here again.
It's not something big, it's just it takes time for the elevator to come up and down, because it's stops alot for ppl, and they don't have stair.
Close location to everything, convenient, quiet, clean and professional. Excellent wifi. Would stay here again.
Small room No closet Breakfast ends at 09:30 Room cleaning should improve
good location cleanness bed facilities
small rooms waiting time for the lift only 1 lift, 13 floors small place
Non-smoking room. Eco scheme that rewarded people for not using the packaged stuff provided or requiring sheets to be washed each day etc.
Bed had a bit of a slope to it and very thin pillows. A little compact, without any storage space, but that is typical of Japanese hotels. I usually appreciate the skill applied to the design of small places - like the design of origami pieces.
Location, clean and safe.
Small and a little claustrophobic.
Within a 10min walk of Shibuya station and famous crossing. Staff speak enough English and the place is very clean. Great bed and noise reducing walls make for a great sleep. Free good wifi and a easy to find/safe hotel.
The room is small, as is the bathroom but this is Tokyo. No Iron at the hotel, only a trouser press. Make sure you book a proper double, not a 3/4 double.
Very, very, very nice and helpful staff with good English skills. Most friendly staff you will ever find in any hotel. Good hotel with everything you need.
Only thing that wasn't perfect was the "broken" un-even mattress.
Location and cleanliness
No iron and ironing service No adaptor convertor for Australia standards No drinks in the mini bar
Location in Shibuya is great for restaurants, shopping, and the Tokyo experience. For a no-frills business trip, it's fine.
Only one elevator serves the entire hotel, all floors -- during check out, it took me 45 minutes to get a place on the elevator. Despite signage for a stairway, none was to be found. Hotel is clean, but not what one would expect for Japan.
Location is not too bad. The wifi was free and worked well. Struggling to say anything else positive. If you have the money then stay at the Tokyu Excel by the station - much better value, bigger rooms, cleaner, better location etc. etc.
Don't stay here if there is more than one o you traveling. The rooms are tiny and cramped. We hardly had room to get through the door with our suitcases in the passage way. The bed is tiny and uncomfortable. It's also also far too expensive for what you get.
I like the beddings, so smooth, clean and good smell; I love the toilet facilities, though small, it is very clean, comfortable and with complete accessories; the TV is huge and wifi is fast and unlimited.
The staff (male) at the reception who did not carefully provided the guidance needed in my inquiry that almost made me lost in going to Meguro-ku.
Good use is made of all the space in the room and plug ins are easily accessible.
