The onsen on the 13th floor is superb. What a view!
No wi-fi in the rooms. Big minus.
Very good location for every purpose. A big bath on the top floor is so excellent.
Room is nice. Staffs are lovely.
No WIFI in room, ONLY CABLE INTERNET.
It is very nice hotel good location clean very nice breakfast .only problem there is no dinning no food for dinner.
No dinning facility
Big roomy room close to transport
staff were very helpful when I needed to cancell my reservations in Nagasaki as I had no internet access. When I did use thr hotel's computer I couldn't log on to Bookings as I had forgotten password, thus the staff rang the hotel for me and cancelled the booking. That's what I call service. Also loved the Japanese bath over-looking the city.
Spacious room, very nice free spa.
Decor a little dated.
Location is very good. Rooms very quite, and it is extremely clean. Very kind staff.
It would help to have internet in the rooms area. Just in the lobby.
Loccation is excellent and easy to move around by taxi.
Room decor rather mnimalistic. Perhaps furniture of slightly higher quality could make the room more attreactive.
The hotel caters for a wide range of guests and staff made every effort to assist us with any needs
A lovely hotel. We stayed in a roomy; tidy twin room with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. There was a well-appointed, modern public bath at the top of the hotel. Accommodating staff; clerk even ran up a half-empty soda I inadvertently left at the check-in desk.
A bit off the beaten path. Not right next to the main train station or the downtown shopping district. There is a subway stop close by, however. Price seemed a bit high, but we were visiting at a busy time of the year also.
Amazing staff who helped me to coordinated and acted as a translator for car rental !
The location, the public baths in the hotel, the cleanliness...
I got a good deal since I booked it the same day i stayed, payed 75 and they gave me a room for two even though I was alone and booked a single room, great service, great facilities and AMAZING location in kyoto
it gets booked way too fast, the original prices may be more expensive
Awesome to be able to go to the roof and see all 5 fires. Really convenient!
rooms were bigger than usual
located at a busy main road
For the entire hotel, only three washing machines are available. Besides, the coin laundry machine didnt work at all. The dryer machine also was pointless. It was a waste of money, the clothes got even more soaked than before drying them.
Friendly staff, large room, very cleaned, public on-sen available at the last floor, wonderful view of the city, great central position very close to the metro station
Small room poor beverage facilities minimal equipment in rooms stale, bad smelling room.
Eccellent location, very clean, provide anything you need. Staff very helpful despite their not perfect english
Wifi only in the lobby, not a problem if you go to Tokyo for holydays and spend most of the time away!
Great hotel! Great deal! Very nice and helpful staff. Beautiful public bath on top floor. Between Kyoto Station and Downtown. At a subway station. No, really, a place to be!!! Highly recommended!
The rooms were nice with lots of space; a rarity in Japan. And at S$120 nett per twin room night, it was great value for money. 15 mins walk either way was Kyoto Station and Shijo St, Kyoto's equivalent of London's Oxford St.
Taxi drivers tend to be unfamiliar with it and will bring you in merry go rounds when it is actually a few parallel streets away.
Spacious room for Japan. Close to subway station but not to Kyoto station
Not that close to Kyoto station, so still need to take the subway one stop. No WiFi in the room.
Cleanliness and quality of room and bathroom.
The breakfast - dreadful.
