Offering a top-floor public bath with nature views, bicycle rentals and free Wi-Fi, Aria Hotel sports wooden shutters that give it a European feel. It offers a free shuttle to downtown. Aria is a completely non-smoking hotel featuring a free-use lobby PC, free laundry facilities, and ski equipment rentals. The public bath features natural hot spring water in summer. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, and a 20-minute walk from Wadano no Mori Museum. Hakuba Station is a 5-minute drive away. Japanese-style and Western rooms are simply furnished, and fitted with heating and a TV. Some rooms come with private bathroom facilities. Japanese meals are served upon advance request in the dining room, which features warm red carpeting and floor-to-ceiling windows with nature views. The owner and family of the hotel are very friendly. They picked up and dropped us at the train station,and even their car was always ready to take us visiting the places of interest. Nothing.

Superb stuff ,he pick us and bus station and very kind to sent us to Hakuba station in very eraly morning.Also,special discount (3000 yen) for happo ski one day pass ticket . Dinner is fantastic ,location just 800 M. walk to gondola . Room very clean and comfort ,4th floor have Onsen. I cannot wait to visit Aria again. Onsen is too small but it's okay

The best staff I met in long time, the whole family who rounds the aria hotel is super nice, the location is perfect, and the great home made japanese dinners after a long day of snow. Thanks a lot Aria. Hope to come back next season.

This a family run hotel and the staff were fantastic. They couldn't do enough to help and made my stay extremely enjoyable. The home cooked Japanese meals were out of this world and better than many restaurants that I ate in, seriously! Thank you so much Wakako! The hotel provided good discounts on ski passes and ski equipment hire. They also provide discounts for nearby onsens and were kind enough to offer lifts there and back. The hotel is just over 10 mins walk to the Gondola, easy enough in ski boots. I will definitely stay at The Aria Hotel the next time that I visit Hakuba. Cheers, Sean. I stayed extremely early in the winter season, and the communal bathroom and bath were not open. Hardly a grumble though because most hotels in Hakuba weren't even open.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave the kids toboggans to play in the snow for free. Also, they had a small kitchen with a fridge, free tea and hot water for the guests to use. The washing machine with dryer could be used, too, they provided detergent for us. There is a TV in the lobby with lots of dvds to enjoy. The breakfast was a mix of homemade eggs usually and buffet drinks, bread and jam. We stayed in a japanese style room and it was a great experience for us and the kids.

Staff and owner was very helpful and friendly. Mountain is in walking distance and restaurants/bars are close by. Interior is not really luxurious but Onzen has a niece view and overall experience thanks to staff is good
