Staff who speaks excellent english Location is close to major shibuya and shinjuku
No room wifi. You only get wired LAN in the room. Wifi is only available in the lobby. So if you have tablets or smartphone only, you need to have your own access point.

No free wifi in the room
Easy to find, next to most important things to see in Tokyo. Very Quiet, view to the sky tree and the tokyo tower...
Very kind, close to convenient store and station(3lines), clean
I cannot over-emphasize how impressed I was by the staff's hospitality and gracious handling of complaints, questions & comments; how equipped they were in responding to practically any request. They were prepared with written directions, maps, lists etc.; they offered umbrellas on rainy days, even called cabs on your behalf. All with a smile!
Granted most guests have portable wifi in their devices , but some of us don't and must report back home of our safe arrival. To sit in the lobby area any time it is crowded with more than 20 people is frustrating. I'd pay an extra ¥50 a day to have access in my room while resting in bed. It would be a welcome option.
Breakfast: fresh fruit & delicious simple yogurt! Croissants. Eggs good for lacto-vegetarians (meat was separate). Nice Japanese okayu, miso soup... // Rooms, Altho very compact, were generally clean.// Self serve bottled drinking water (nice).// Meeting people in lobby while using free wifi. // Bathtub had proper caulking (important to prevent unseen toxic mold buildup) which many other Japanese hotels (even some higher ranked ones)seem to neglect.// The helpful friendly staff were very welcoming. A couple staff also spoke English very well.//Maps in lobby.//Location required some effort from station with heavy luggage but once settled it was very convenient to go around to various location.//Nice warm bath so only lightly missed a Japanese hot tub.// A thanks to staff for relaxed comfortable pleasant atmosphere.
Breakfast somewhat lacking tho basically very nice. Missing: cooked/other raw vegetables except salad leaves at breakfast (wanted broccoli, asparagus, sprouts, boiled tomatoes,...). No butter (only margarine). // A couple rooms had strange marks on walls (maybe kid's marks from black crayon&coffee/tea/other wall stains). Altho generally clean, special cleaning days&people seemed needed for walls & dust in vents/phone cracks/heater senser areas.
Best price for standard of hotel and location.
Friendly and informative staff at the desk. FREE bottles of water. Open availability of amenities (toothbrush, cotton ads, razor etc.). Location
NO wifi in the room. BREAKFAST needs variety after a 3-day stay. For a 7-day stay *groan* ... Hard to get out of bed!
the staffs are very kind and very polite. they speak wonderful english and the front desk opens 24hrs. the location is very convienient, its about 5 mins walk away from the train station and with a few convienient stores(Family Mart) around it.
Excellent Service Counter staff was friendly and can speak good English Free bottled water Cosy and warmth feeling short walk to subway and central location
No wifi in room Double bed room is a little too small
Good value for cost. While not luxurious and typically Japanese tiny with a typical Japanese unit bath/toilet, the facilities were very well built. Bathtub had proper caulking (which many hotels in Japan lack then get hidden mold so plumbers/builders/specialist cleaners get extra business). Building was mostly quiet, breakfast good. Nice not to have to worry about near exposure to wifi. Appreciated bottled water. Good location near transport. Helpful tourist info.
Wish there were a complimentary English newspaper. // The wifi area was limited to lobby; would have liked a proper sitting reading area which would also have allowed wifi in more comfortable space.// Since it is called an Asia Center, attracting many non-Japanese, it would be nice to have mini Onsen or such spa available in center. Regardless of wishes, it was basically good value for price.
The hotel is very close to two metro stations in a very pleasant area. It is close to many resturants. It offers value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not included in the tariff but I was given complementary breakfast vouchers. I highly recommend the hotel.
Wifi is only available in the lobby and not in the rooms.
Great location close to subway and walking distance to Roppongi. Buffet breakfast was great each morning and good value for money. The staff hold your keys when you go out for the day/night so no need to worry about losing them. Bathroom was spacious and clean.
Bed was quite small. We were put in a smoking room initially and the smell was overwhelming despite claims that the room had been thoroughly cleaned. We were only transferred to a non-smoking room after lots of insistence and mention of Asthma. We were disappointed that the staff weren't more accommodating initially although we were pleased that the situation was eventually resolved. Also, only being able to access wifi in the lobby and kitchen area on the ground floor was a bit of an annoyance.
Friendly, english speaking staff. Good complimentary breakfast. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms.
Was difficult to find initially. Long walk to the nearest major train station.
The location is not so far from the Aoyama-Ichome station. There're also several convenient store nearby. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They also allowed me to keep luggages after checking out.
They gave me the non-smoking room as I requested. Even though I got the non-smoking room floor, I still could smell the smoking. Maybe it came from the next room guest who did not follow the rule...
It was located close to the metro, the hotel was clean and the staff was super friendly. The price was really competitive as well.
Wifi was not available in rooms, and can only be accessed while sitting in the lobby. I stayed at cheaper hostels where wifi is available in your room, you'd think Tokyo of all places would have wifi everywhere.
Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Location is very convenient, 5 min walk to Aoyoma Itchome station, 5 - 10 mins walk to major shopping centre, 30 mins walk to Tokyo tower. And room service was excellent.
They given us complimentary breakfast but it is the same thing for a week, it will be good if they can have some varieties with their breakfast
The staff are excellent - friendly & helpful. It's very good value for money. Would stay again and again.
the breakfast menu needs a refresh as it was exactly the same as when I stayed last year.
Great location and great value fantastic staff and free water in foyer. Bed very comfy. Very cooperative staff. Amazing restaurants nearby.
Nothing all was good.
Clean, staffs, breakfast meal.
Not easy to send the lagages to the Narita airport.
generally a good place to stay for 1-2 nights after a longer flight. Breakfast's included and the room is clean.
The rooms are very small (compared to all other locations I stayed in JP).
Great breakfast helpful staff great location (5-10 mins walk from subway).
I've stay here a bunch of times and I feel like they could put some money into upgrading the place a bit. Try installing wifi, replacing old carpet and new better mattresses.
excellent and quiet location near Canadian Embassy, friendly and supportive staff,Great breakfast, lots of restaurants near by
no wi fi in the rooms I've been coming to the hotel for 10 years and the facilities are definitely showing wear The smell of smoke is now apparent in the hallways
I liked the Japanese style buffet breakfast...location is pretty good, near Metro and you can walk to Midtown Tokyo (20 minutes). Lunch and dinner is quite good and reasonably priced.
Room is small, too small for two people even if a couple. Get a twin. Not enough non-smoking rooms available but what can you do, it is Japan.
- It was a short walk to the subway that had a few different subway lines. - Breakfast had a good variety of options - most of the staff was very nice and very helpful
- when it says small double bed, it's a small double bed. don't expect to get a fantastic nights sleep, my husband is tall and his feet were hanging off. - room feels similar to a cruise ship room. everything is quite small. but we can't complain too much as the price was pretty cheap.
