Great bed, quiet location, friendly staff.
Small room but typical for Tokyo. Was hard to find tucked away off the main street.
Fantastic hotel .. Free buffet !!! Near to okachimachi station !!
very small rooms breakfast was rather poor
The location cannot be better for a solo traveler. 1.super convienient if you wan to find a place for dinner. Most are cheap and provide hundred of type for you 2.Close to "ta-ke-ya" and "donki-hote" googs here are cheap than any other place 3.piles of massage available around you. Most them are till 4am. 4.super convienient to subway or JR lines. Totally 4station(lines) available less than 10 min walking
1.room is too small. Do reserve a queen(king) bed that get you two balcony. It make you feel better 2.wifi is very poor. Twitter is ok. YouTube not working here.
Not easy to find the hotel.
I liked the champagne bottle we got because it was our honeymoon
I disliked the prices for the laundry. Washing some shorts (4), t- shirts (6) and some underwear cost us 150 usd. There were no prices on the form we had to fill in for the laundry. With prices like this, there should be
Very clean and modern equipment.
Hard to sleep in a double room for two persons, very small but comfortable. Better to take two single rooms I think.
Only one escalator have to lift your stuffs on your own
everything's fine except
room is too small.
This was our first taste of a hotel in Japan-booked because of the location and being highly visible (so we thought). Lovely staff looked after our bags for the day, and once we found the hotel it was clearly a very good location especially for Ueno Park. Very clean and the breakfast was great!
The room was very very small and based on this we had our concerns for all of our other bookings in japan (unwarranted). Comfy bed though and great nighttime view over Ueno. Booked due to the picture on booking.con showing a highly visible hotel, not quite the case, and it proved pretty hard to find! Better directions would be good especially for the severely jet lagged traveller!
The staff were EXCELLENT! In fact, there were a chinese and a korean staff that really helpful for guest who has minimum fluency in english. I guess they will feel at home. Only that, the rice served during breakfast during one of the day was a bit hard to chew. Overall, i am very satisfied with the service and comfort after all, most of the time were out in the city. So i don't see why there is a need to pay for expensive room rates.
good service and location
Small room，I have to put the luggage on the balcony
It was in a very good location. A 3 minute walk to the Ueno Park/Zoo; a block away from bars; right beside it was a supermarket; a 3 minute walk to Matsusakaya Dept. Store and most importantly, a mere 5 minute walk to the Shinkansen Train Station beside which is the market where good but cheap food, you name it you have it, also vendo food stores, are available in stalls. Cheap Clothings may also be found.
Rooms are very small well, typical of Tokyo Hotels.
Hotel location is the best! Room is small with small bed. Great toiletries provided. Fuss free check in and check out.
Clean, nice, basic breakfast, good lockatoin close to subway stations and train stations.
Very small rooms.
service @ location
very excellent service from the front desk personnal. Due to unforeseen circumstances, there is a need to modify reservation and the staff has been very helpful as there seem to be some issue with the credit card cancellation. Thumb up to all the staffs who has been giving me their help.
room was small. thankfully we did not bring along our baby otherwise it will be extremely squeezy. But at the same time kind of expected it as there are friends telling me that room in japan are small.
location very strategic, and breakfast is nice, stuff very helpful. room not very big but anything you want they provided.
I like the cleanliness of the hotel and the newly renovated rooms. Staff were friendly too.
Distance to the nearest subway station is reasonable. But I didn't like the fact that the hotel is located in the midst of "red-light district". In the night, on the way back to the hotel, there were girls hanging around touting for business.
Location! Near the Ueno Park , as our main purpose is to visit the park for Cherry blossom. Very clean. A lot of place to eat and shop.
The room very small.
Very close to metro and Keisei station.
Extremely small room. Thin wall and door. You can hear people next to and outside your room talk.
