The location is perfect. Just few minutes walk from 109 building and the rest. Also very close to the station.
This is the first 5 stars hotel, that I've come across, that doesn't have free wifi but have to pay to use it. Fitness centre can't be use without paying the hotel. This two thugs put me and my family down so much and I believe other family too. Won't be coming here again.
The location, the view from The room! Very quiet! Excellent staff!
Not having wifi included on on the rate.
This hotel is in heart of busy Shibuya. Its my second visit to Tokyo and my second stay here. Staff were very helpful when I requested for shuttle bus to airport and reserving few restaurants in Tokyo
Good location and redecoration was nice than before .
Very professional and well-trained employees. They go out of their ways to make me feel welcomed. Nice room with lots of natural light. Central location. Concierge and Housekeeping teams were fantastic.
You need to pay for Wifi and gym access.
Location, spacious room and great view
A little overpriced
-location -close to tube -view from room (stunning!) -large room -TV -great restaurants on site -huge bed -great bathroom -safe -views (seriously- amazing!)
-Had to pay for wifi (wasn't much) -had to pay for gym/pool
The location of this hotel is great. Nearby Shibuya crossing, but hotel itself is very quiet
The large size of the room/bathroom,convenient location, cleanliness and helpful staff.
The Greek Coffee (Yen400) that was in the drawer( together with 2 cups,2 glasses and several Japanese Green tea sachets) was not labeled clearly as an item that was chargeable. The mini-bar menu listed "coffee".I did not realise the coffe was not free as I did not read mini-bar menu.I normally avoid using anything in the mini-bar.
Cerulean is in a good location
At check in was served by Shimada who was very rude, questioning our ability to pay cash and making sarcastic remarks. When we raised this with management it was not addressed. Worst case I have ever experienced
Excellent location. Super close to subway and train section. Also convenient that Hanedi airport limo stops directly in front of hotel and is the first stop.
No free wifi not even in the lobby.
Great location if you want to experience the busy and urban feeling of Shibuya. Walking distances to train and subway stations. (E.g. the Ginza line for sightseeing spots such as Sky Tree, Asakusa, Tsukiji fish market, Ginza etc.) Exceptionnel view. Piano bar at the top floor (a small cover charge though). A variety of shopping, restaurants, karaoke etc in the neighbourhood. Shuttle bus ("Limousine bus") going directly to Narita airport.
Had to pay for wi-fi.
staff were helpful location
too expensive for what offered charged for everything (coffee, wifi, pool) paid extra $ and couldn't even see tokyo tower- disappointing not worth the $
Location is great. Room is spacious.
Cigarette smell in the room. You have to pay for tea and coffee in the room.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, service is excellent, food is also great but pricey. ATM at the 7-11 on the 2/F of the hotel is very convenient.
The swimming pool is only for adults ie 18 years and older, and I brought my children who were very disappointed they couldn't go swimming. I can understand that the fitness centre should not be used by children, but the swimming pool should be open to all. They charge 400 yen for teabags and coffee in the room, which is unusual for an international class hotel, where teabags and coffee are always free.
- Check-in was supposed to happen at 14:00 but I arrived earlier due to my midnight flight, and they already prepared my room by 10:45. - Japan is well known for small hotel rooms but this one is spacious. - Superior skyline view, I adored the day and night view outside my room on the 32th floor, great sight of Shibuya. - Excellent services from staff, friendly, English fluent, plenty of smile and efficient. - Perfect location, 5 mins walk away from anything you can name including railway, airport limousine bus, restaurants and all the biggest attractions in Shibuya.
- Slightly expensive. - No free wifi anywhere, in room or lobby.
We chose this hotel because of the pool. My 11yr old daughter loves swimming. Shocked to be told you had to be over 18 to use the pool ?
The best things about this hotel are its great location in Shibuya and the great views from the rooms. Rooms are really nice too. Shibuya is also very convenient to have as your base when looking around in Tokyo. The pool and other services at the hotel were good too.
No free internet. You must pay for the overpriced service (both wifi and wired). Like any other Japanese hotel of this age it is plagued by cigarette smoke stained corridors from the old days.
Excellent tourist assistance and general help by recepetion and other staff
Had to pay for use of swimming pool. Very disappointing, Also, would expect better access to business centre - rather than depend on staff with key. Very expensive drinks and breakfast (though good)
No free wifi in the room
My room on the 28th floor has a nice view facing Shinjuku in the distance and a bird's eye view of Shibuya. The bath room layout is spacious and excellent. The staff is polite and the concierge provides excellent service for guests. Overall, a good choice.
As with most Japanese hotels there is extra charge for using the fitness facilities. Wifi is not complimentary. And the beds are too firm for my back!
View from 20th floor room, efficient and helpful staff, nice amenities, and great location in Shibuya!
The beds were not as comfortable as other beds in hotels that cost less. Also, my portable wi-fi would not work at the Cerulean, though it worked fine in Osaka and Kyoto.
The view from the bath! The service.
Just soooooo cool
Everything(resto and convenience store) was close by.
No free internet.
