Good price Nice area Clean
Rather small room You always have to change trains when going to the city Poor wifi
Location - right next to Akasaka station, loads of restaurants/bars/etc in the area but still not too noisy, walking distance to Roppongi if you wanted more action. Modern/clean/comfortable.
Window was quite difficult to open fully and room quite stuffy when A/C not running. Would have liked a bit more space between bed and desk. No view to speak of.
Wifi Rooms are clean and tidy Staff speak good English Shuttle Bus service to both airports just 600 meters down the road.
Pillows were too hard
I am so amazed of japanese people, i just love the way they are. They are so gently and always have a smile. Also they way they treat you with respect is just great! Thank you! You have a bunch of restaurants around, and akasaka station in front of the hotel, which can take you to takeshita street, shibuya or great places!
Wi fi is low, but i mean i went to meet the city not to sit and surf in internet in my room... I used to communicate via facebook and whatsapp annd worked fine, if you are trying to do something like opening a bunch pages, i don't think so.
Even small room gave the best of it. Clean. Perfect bathroom. Comfy bed. AC working perfectly. Friendly staff. Ready to help and gives good advices.
All was good. If have chance, will be back
Good location, bars and restaurants nearby and a subway stop 50m away.
Very small rooms and beds. We tried to check in at 2pm, one hour before the check-in time (as we had arrived at Tokyo at 7am in the morning and were extremely tired after a long flight) but they didn't allow us, not even if we offered to pay! Very inflexible staff.
staff helpful and friendly; generally clean and cosy; nice location (10/15 mins walk to midtowns tower and Roppongi area)
standard double rooms are too small, there is barely enough space to keep opened a large suitcase check in time at 15:00 is too late; check out time too early at 11:00.
Easy to find, clean, very kind reception
Room with double bed too small
Great location for those who are visiting Tokyo. Good price. Easy and simple check in and check out.
We were put in a quiet building with only 3 rooms per floor. We stayed for 2 rooms and almost own the floor. Our rooms were cleaned daily. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Best location ever! The subway is just beside the hotel. Easy access to the railways of Tokyo. Best location ever with a family mart beside and many restaurants you can choose from. Well recommended especially if you are with kids and wanted to be mobile, near the station.
Great place, central location, friendly, respectful and helpful staff with good English.
Super friendly staff and easy on a non fluent Japanese speaker. They all spoke English and were more than willing to help out in anyway possible. You are steps away from Akasaka station with a konbini (convient store) next door as well as good local restaurants. It is a bit of a haul from Haneda and especially Narita airport. If you fly in once the metro has closed, you are looking at roughly a $100 dollar cab ride to the hotel. Great WiFi, super clean rooms and free bottled water as well as a fridge in the room.
First, make sure that you are used to Japanese style hotel rooms. I have studied abroad in Japan and was ready but my friend was ill prepared for the extremely small room. Couldn't have been bigger than 10x10 with two twin beds, a deal, closet and full bathroom. I list it as a con because if you are not used to small space, this will be a turn off. Second, be sure you print off your receipt and have it with you when you check in. This could have just been a mistake but they almost charged me double the price had I not had a receipt. I just pulled it out and said um, I think this is what you meant and we were good to go! Also, nothing to do with the hotel but make sure to print off the address to the hotel in Japanese. If you ever do need a cab, most will have no idea what hotel you are speaking of.
central location, cleanliness and kind welcome of all employees
Good location next to exit 6 of Akasaka metro station. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
Small rooms, but OK if you are not going to spend a lot of time in.
We loved the location and the fact it wasn't so crowded around. The 24 hour grocery store was a plus, as well as the family mart which we visited everyday. It was just a stop or two from all the sights. Great place! We had a group of 11 that stayed there!
The bathrooms were a little stuffy because they were so small and retained the moisture.
The location was convenient--right across the metro and close to many convenience stores, restaurants, and a supermarket. It was a quiet and safe place. Wifi inside the room was fast. Hotel staff was helpful. Housekeeping services were excellent. We appreciated the daily supply of complimentary bottled water. Special thanks to Kojiro and another male staff at reception desk who helped us with directions going to Tokyo and stations and other concerns.
Hotel was too strict about the number of people staying in a room. We had 1 person more than their prescribed number to a room. This caused us to book an additional room and spend about $1000 more. I hope they can be more considerate to guests staying for over a week. The first two rooms assigned to us had smelly bathrooms. However, staff responded quickly to our request and transfered us to other rooms.
Location, a few steps away from subway. Near restaurants and fast food places. Staff friendly and willing to help you in all your tourist needs such as booking tours and giving directions. Excellent choice for day tripping!!
Bed a little small and lack of english programming on tv.
Great location, close to the Akasaka subway station, walking distance from Tokyo Tower, easy access from the airport
Nice hotel, very clean room and helpfull staff
perfect location (very close to underground station), very clean, bathroom bigger than expected :-) and lots of freebies, hotel even has a washing machine you can use, friendly staff
not much cupboard space in the room. Late check-in time (they are very strict with 3pm) - this is not very comfy when you've had a long haul flight already arriving in the morning!
small room but useful clean bed sheet and towels excellent heating toillette good location genial staff
arrived hotel 1 hour and 15 minutes before check in time. we would like to check in but they said pay extra money
We have stayed in that hotel before and returned on our way back. Mostly because of location, value for money and good wi-fi.
Terrible, terrible attitude. Unfortunately, my husband had a phone call and was informed of his mothers death while we were at the reception, he almost fainted, when I asked for glass of water the reception personel refused to provide any for free. We have been told to buy in machines. We were sitting in lobby for 20 min, not able to go up in our room for money and shocked of that attitude! C'mon, its just a glass of water for person who is obviously not feeling well!!!
Too small rooms
