NOISE FROM OTHER ROOMS,
Good location.. Close to the subway... 5 minutes walk to Oedo Kuramae stn & Oedo Asakusa stn... Nice, helpful and friendly staff.. The room is clean but small ..
located in the heart of Tokyo, convenience for shops and stations, clean and quiet room. good facilities including wifi in the room. Also, this is the only hotel I could find who offered full size double bedroom for this price. Very reasonable priced accommodation (we stayed there for 10 nights). Polite, helpful stuff and cleaners
I would say size of the room but for this price in this location, what could I expect. Still better than some other places, definitely.
Excellent Service. Room is basic and decent for solo traveller.
Pillow wasn't very comfortable but then I should have asked for the Japanese traditional type which i like best.
My husband and I stayed in a standard double room while my sister stayed in a single room. I have to say, out of 3 hotels we stayed in during our trip to Japan, this was the best one. My husband is 6'1" and had no problem with our room or bed size (and we're Texans--used to everything being BIG). The bed was comfortable and though the room was small-ish that didn't really bother us. The staff was very attentive and able to communicate in English. We chose non-smoking since I have a smoke allergy, and though I could tell some floor had smoking rooms (like the one with the ice machine) it didn't really bother my health. The best thing to me was the location. Asakusa is a charming town with several attractions (Sensoji Temple, the Sky Tree) nearby, and if you've got a JR Pass to travel around Japan, you only need to take the subway for about 5 minutes to get to a hub where you can use your pass. (Cost will be about 170 yen.) This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the subway and is located on a major street that has lots of ramen shops and a post office about 2 blocks away, which is the only place we found that would take our American debit cards. There's a Family Mart just up the way where we usually stopped to get breakfast for less than 5 yen. Overall, it's nothing too fancy, but Chisun Inn does provide a comfortable place to sleep and you really can't beat the location. Also, free wifi. :)
Breakfast was a little pricey at the hotel.
location and near Asakusa and trains. Since we were on our way back to the airport after two weeks in Japan (we had stayed in Tokyo at the beginning of our trip) it was fine for one day. A little cramped for two people with luggage, just glad we were only there for a night.
sullen staff at front desk - after two weeks of being greeted with very good staff at other hotels, we got sort of spoiled when we were greeted by a couple of guys who clearly did not want to be at work. sorry guys.
- location close to Senso-ji temple only 5mins walk. - close to subway for Asakusa And Ginza Line. - quiet place - room clean and space ok for me. - staff are helpful - close to 7-11 and family mart.
Location is a 8 minutes walk to Sensoji area, 3 minutes walk from Asakusa station. Tokyo skytree can be seen from above the station. There are many 24hr marts all around and eateries closer to Sensoji area. Staff can speak english and helpful. Daily cleaning services are provided.
Hotel room looked quite old and carpet doesn't look too clean. Hotel room and their toilets are very small, its more for one pax. Travellers with big luggage will have problems opening their luggage without having problem opening their hotel room door. But I guess this is the average Tokyo hotel sizes, so cant complain.
Tiny rooms, but you're out walking around if you know what's good for you. We had a plenty comfy stay, great shower, fancy bidet toilet, vending machines on every other floor with beer, discreet television entertainment, hot water and tea in room. You get a lot with a little, and it's just a short walk to everything great asakusa has to offer.
Lokadi dekat dengan asakusa station
Room to small
Location very strategic
Hope there is a bathroom for shower for traveller who early coming but can not check in
The location is good and staffs are friendly.
The room is extremely small as well as the tiny bed.
The staff were very helpful and attentive, location was only a few minutes walk from centre of town, facilities, bed and room size were better then expected seeing as it was based in Tokyo.
Location. Its near to Kuramae and asakusa subway station
Location, View, Ease of access, Had everything we needed to stay comfortably, A lot cheaper than anywhere else that was available.
Near to Sensoji Temple and Kuramae subway.
Had I not visited other facilities in Japan or even the Chisun Inn at Hiroshima I would not have had a complaint. Compared to their Hiroshima branch, if I gave Hiroshima 10 points I would have to give the Asakusa branch 7. It was the dearest breakfast in 2 weeks in Japan hotels and in my opinion the worst. It had nowhere the variety or quality of its Horoshima branch. Its not that anything was bad its just that it was not as good as Hiroshima or other hotels. Perhaps the manager from Asakusa would do well to spend a few days in their Hiroshima hoterl
Quite near to the convenient store, restaurant and subway. Wifi is available in room, moreover there are computer which you can rent. There is a TV and minibar in the room. The bathroom also provided with shower gel, shampoo and toothbrush too. There are also several washing machine and dryer for 100 yen. Room is neat and cleanly prepared. Staffs are very helpful and friendly.
Like the shampoo, bath soap and conditioner. Location and peaceful area.
Toothbrush too small, no coffee and bed was a bit hard.
Excellent location, really clean rooms
Not all people at the reception speaking English
location and value for money
Friendly and helpful staff, good facilities, great location
Location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful
Room was quite small but was comfortable.
The staff and location were good
but the rooms were very small for 2 people.
The location is excellent with a direct no changes route from the airport. Easy access to Tokyo centre and also in near walking distance to shops, restaurants and the outstanding Ueno Park. Clean rooms at affordable prices. I will use Chisun Inn again and again. The staff, like all Japanese people, were very helpful, courteous and polite. What more can you ask for.
