Citadines Kyoto Karasuma-Gojo  

Отличный отельчик прямо рядом с метро и остановками автобусов. Одна остановка от вокзала Киото. В принципе все очень понравилось, особенно подогреваемый унитаз))) В общем всем очень рекомендую.

Если совсем придираться то средство для чистки ковров имеет специфический запах и он чувствуется после уборки, когда входишь с улицы. И еще одеяло на кровати довольно толстое и расчитано на холод, в жару под ним довольно душно, а без него прохладненько.

Staff speaks excellent english. Very helpful at directing you to the best places to see, and the best way to get there (I.E., subway, bus, train or combo). They also recommended an airport shuttle to get to Kansai airport, instead of the subways as we had initially planned. This was extremely helpful and a huge time saver. Also, lots of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. It is one of the few hotels that also has a mini fridge and microwave, and can accommodate 3 people (we were traveling with an teenage son). Great price, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Fabulous "apart-hotel". Very modern, exceptionally clean with a great location for accessing the various sights around Kyoto. It's not a standard hotel though, so if you want bars and restaurants on site then this isn't the place for you. However there are plenty these within a couple of hundred metres so it's of little importance. Indeed the restaurant within 30 metres does very good food for less than 1000 yen! As a family with 3 teenage children we usually have limited options when choosing hotels unless we go for 3 rooms, which can be expensive. When we do find triple rooms the third bed is often too small and uncomfortable and there is little/no privacy. This was not the case with the Citadines in Kyoto. The triple room comprised of a large double screened from a large and comfortable single sofa bed. Our kids loved it and would like to have stayed longer! Another plus was that there is free wifi in the Lobby - this was the only hotel that offered this during our visit - all the others charged! In summary, this was the best hotel that we stayed at whilst in Japan and despite it's quality was well priced.

The equipement of the rooms/kitchen is perfect. The staff is friendly and speaks very well English. A coin laundery is available. A supermarket, drugstore and a 100 yen shop is very close.

WLan is only in the lobby and the basement available, not in the rooms. If you want to walk to the sights you should take good shoes with you (long ways), one subwayline is infront the building, it's better to take the underground.

Everything was great! I am not going to count. However, we did not use the parking, breakfast and laundry. This hotel is newly built. So, my only concern is that they will gradually raise their prices after making a name. FYI, we stayed for less than 10,000 JPY per night.

Locations was excellent. Just down from Kyoto station. Could walk to some major attractions.

The hotel has a discreet exterior which hides an exceptionally well designed interior and five star service. Having stayed in many hotels internationally due to my work I am not easily impressed but this property was exceptional. I can think of no better value for money in Japan and I loved the thought that went into the design of both the rooms and the reception area. Perhaps the most stiking aspect of this property is the level of service. The responsiveness, sincerity and efficiency of all the staff we had the pleasure of interacting with, both prior to arrival and during our stay, was exceptional. Even in Japan where service tends to be generally excellent, the Citadines Kyoto Karasuma-Gojo was exceptional. Highly recommended.

I loved this hotel - from its location, to its interior design and service it is an exceptional property in Kyoto.

Great location. All sights are easy to reach. Staff was very kind and helpful. Room spacious and confortable. Free internet.

We tried the breakfast just one morning since there was a discount. However in our opinion it is well below the standard of the hotel. Could be improved. Rooms were not thorougly clean. Quite a bit of dust in corners and other places.

The staff were exceptional, the rooms were very comfortable, and the level of daily service (we stayed for 2 weeks) was much higher than we expected. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel, and would expect to stay there again.

I don't think there is anything that we would complain about. The hotel is located on a very busy road, but road noise would only affect extremely light sleepers.

The design is super reasonable and the comfortable living experience

a little bit hard to find out the location because it is new and not well know.

The two main attribute are the location in the town of Kyoto and the competences and kindness of the personal at the lobby

Nice Apartment hotel with good location, quite clean, for me, the most part of I like is the kichen furnished, which is more than other hotels just provided room for sleep. I would search from this allian hotels in other towns or countries next time.

For Citadines Kyoto Karasuma-Gojo, the only thing I suggest is dark light of lobby, maybe it's their design then I would like to choice the bright lobby than their's if possible

The hotel was in an excellent position and easy to get to via subway. The staff were extremely helpful and thoroughly researched train and bus routes to various places of interest for us. The hotel was clean, well appointed and had good facilities.The rooms were a good size and were larger than others we had experienced in Japan.

No complaints
