Room space is too small fand the price is too high for 3-star apartment hotel.

Very good location and helpfull staff, excellent value for money. Will recommend to all friends travelling to Kyoto

The location was excellent. There was a subway station near the hotel. Once we went to the JR Kyoto station by the subway, we could easily go anywhere using buses and trains. The interior design was modern and the room was very clean. It was equipped with kitchenette and kitchen tools, so it was very convenient to prepare snacks and light meals. In addition, a convenience store was across from the hotel. It was easy to purchase grocery. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful.

There was nothing we didn't like about.

This is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in Japan and within a reasonable price range. Our room was a great size for Japan, including a balcony. The reception staff were very helpful and the location was perfect. The hotel had a welcoming appeal as soon as we walked in.

The only thing was one night when it became windy some metal panels outside our room (that are part of the building design) made a really loud and continuous vibrating noise in the wind.

I liked the apartment cos the apartment was compact and had cooking facilities

I found the lobby area and corridors (with the exception of the dining lounge) too dark and dimly lit. Location was not good as it was too far away from shopping areas and we had to cab back and forth and that was expensive. The unit we had faced a wall so in addition to being dark in the corridors, we felt walled in.

Very comfortable and relatively spaceous and very clean. Kitchenette was very practical. Its location, one stop on the subway from Kyoto station and on the main bus routes to many sightseeing locations, made Citadines the ideal accommodation.

We were a family of four and had to book two twin bed rooms. I would have preferred one three-bed room ( one double and two single beds).

Location is good, parking good but you need to book, bathroom works well.

The day bed was not great for an adult. WiFi not available in room.

I visited during Cherry Blossom time and hotel prices were very high.

We do not know why people rave about this place. We got a room leading to the noisy major road despite having asked for quiet location. Bathrooms are tiny. No wifi in rooms. Minimalistic service at receptin. No infrastructure. Good location to busus and subway but far from the major sights. Certainly not a good deal.

The location in the center of Kyoto right near the Gojo station is great, it's very easy to reach every place around. There are several places to have a simple dinner nearby.. It's not so crowded in Shijo area and the whole place is not really touristic but the location is very convenient. The Shijo itself is just 5 minute walk.

The room booked through the booking.com appeared to be smoking room by default. I had to upgrade to a little bigger room to get non-smoking room. The upgrade was smooth though and not significantly more expensive. The internet in the room is only wired with Ethernet cable and the cable supplied is very short. So if you want some more freedom in the room, take a router or a longer cable. Wireless is only available in the lounge.

The hotel is very close to Gojo subway. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very nice, clean and comfortable even it's small.
