Overall ok, enough room space and comfortable beds.

No elevator, washing sink outside the room makes noice during night time. Ten minutes walk needed for going everywhere.

Great location. Its near subway stations and also near markets where you can buy food and gifts. The staff was really nice, they spoke good enough English and were straight forward. Because it's in central kyoto going to other areas in the city isn't too much of a hassle. The futon beds were really comfortable to sleep on as well.

The room was very dusty and I was continuously sneezing while in there. Also its shared bathrooms so if you can't handle showering in a room with a complete stranger, look elsewhere.

    Location, nice host

Metal bedroom doors, shared bathroom (showers aren't separated so people wash in front of each other). Expensive for the level of comfort but did the job.

Location near Nishiki fish market and walkable to most of downtown Kyoto areas.

Nothing, we left after 1 night

Communal showers Z-beds Poorly maintained rooms (peeling wallpaper) Expensive This is a slightly rubbish backpacker hostel. If that's what you're after, then I suppose it's ok, but you can get a nice modern business hotel with private bathroom in Kyoto for the same price. Very disappointed.

Fantasic location in a quiet street but really central as well. Great neighbourhood and would also recommend a very atmospheric bar/ restaurant directly on the other side of street.

Going out and returning at every hour was OK. Localisation was great. Close to the subway and not far from famous places.

We have paid for 3 person room and it was very difficult to fit 3 futons there.

Very friendly and helpful staff that can speak English.

The internet in the rooms were available, but always die around mid night.

    Excellent location.

The rooms have metal doors, which are really loud when opening/closing.
