nice location，nice staff，professional service
Room is a little bit small
Clean and comfortable, location is good, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
Room is small
Closeness to train station and coffee in room.
Clean and comfortable. Quiet, despite location. Extensive breakfast buffet, accommodating western tastes as well as Japanese.Friendly English speaking reception staff. Proximity to Kannai station a real bonus for travelling around.
Excellent full breakfast- buffet with extensive choice, Japanese and western. Kind staff
Everything. The accessibility and comfort.
Speedy check-in by courteous staff. Not at all noisy despite location. Nice room, well laid out.
Using key-cards to get into rooms and especially traveling between floors by elevator to visit friends took a little working out but we got there pretty quickly!
- Great location, only a few hundred metres from Kannai Station and within walking distance of most attractions in Yokohama - Comfortable bed - Great included buffet breakfast - Friendly and helpful staff
- Room on the small side (though they advertise this when booking)
Nothing special but did stay on a Saturday night ... Lower Rates reflect real status and comfort of the hotel during the week .
Near the station ... Yes ... But difficult to find
It is perfect for the price you have paid
When I checked in, I arrived earlier than the check in time. But once the room is ready, the staff at the reception counter host me to check in so I can start to work earlier. I didn't keep her name, just know she is a trainee during the shift on 10/13 afternoon. Appreciate the service.
It was a big room 3beds Very very clean Everything was there Coffe ,Thea ,pyjama everything for THE bedroom PeOple very helpful
NORMAL TO BETTER
The room had all you need, good bed, excellent bathroom, wifi worked well, and even the size of the room was for Japanese standards reasonable.
extremely convenient proximity to train station (a very helpful aspect while traveling in Japan because you can leave all your heavy luggage at the hotel before and after your stay for free while traveling unhampered through the people masses in the city). Very quiet, clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, and even wi-fi internet that was relatively fast compared to other hotels. Price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again
Best practice cleaning of the rooms. It was pleasant to stay there. Cleanliness really stood out throughout the hotel (vending machine room, laundry equipment was great and in-country phone charges were so reasonable that I was able to avoid renting a cell phone.) I also enjoyed the breakfast, varieties of food for the first two days. Staff was really courteous and handled receiving of shipments, etc. efficiently. Appreciate this support in this trip. In spite of dislikes listed, I highly recommend this hotel to travellers staying for a week or less. For a longer term, Intercontinental was much more comfortable with almost 400 square feet of the space and two queen beds at a higher cost.
I noticed that cleaning staff is reluctant to talk with the guests. Perhaps more empowerment may increase efficiency in service. (I ask for skipping cleaning, but they reply by saying please tell the front desk. (Empowerment a la Marriot or Rits Carlton style) I was tired of the foods after three days as most of them were the same. For a longer term, the room is too confining as there are no drawers, shelves to store things properly. I spent a lot of time rearranging the room so I feel comfortable. There is a space enough for sheving (like those I found in Shinjuku Citadine) . By adding the drawers or shelf space, organization will improve during the stay. LAN was offered but did not work, but Wi-Fi was fine if you reset it daily.
Very clean and comfortable. Good location.
Depending at what time you spoke to the people at reception. Some members of staff could understand English and others could not understand what we were saying! Overall did their best to help!
It was a place to sleep nothing more
At check in language understanding was a problem. We arrived early of a cruise ship and there was no secure place for us to leave our bags till our room was ready. Seemed almost impossible to get them to understand. Eventually our room was ready at 1200 which we were charged 3000 yen for an early checkin. Because of our four hour wait to seure our bags we missed out on half of the one day we had for sightseeing Yokohama. Room was far to small and I feel akin to a prison cell. Wasn't happy
The pillows are very nice. The room looks new. The staff is very accomodating. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores around the place. There's even a 24-hour grocery.
The room is a bit small for 2 people.
Helpful and polite staff, size of the room large for japonese standards, excellent internet, location close JR and Subway, plenty of restaurans in the vicinity, 24 supermartket on the doorstep,
Very good hotel in a very good place, near the metro station, in the central part of the Yokohama city. Comfort and tideness on the true Japanese level.
The main problem is a rather weak wi-fi connexion (at least, on my 7th floor).
clean room, comfort near station kannai. Take exit kannai north. surrounded by shops and combini's. Great place to stay in Yokohama!
Not too expensive Decent sized room Great facilities Polite staff
Bed was a little hard for my gaijin body :)
Excellent location in the city center near pedestrian street, a lot of small shops and cafés around, comfortable and very clean room, 5 min walk to Jr station
Convenient location. It is really close to either train station and subway station , and two to three stops from the main tourist attractions. Two convenient stores nearby (one downstairs and one across the street) for late night grab. The room is not spacious but clean and sufficient to the need. The dining area for breakfast is pleasant.
One block away is an old-fashioned shopping street, which is decent during the day, but might get tricky after 9pm. Pity that the TV channels are all in Japanese and do not include any channel that concerns international news.
