The location is near subway
It's located in the light red district
cheap great location - 5 mins from JR ladies shower was separate and new & clean
no internet in the room, only ground floor futons are really thin, so back hurts because you sleep on the ground :(
The shower rooms are so nice
I didn't like the common comfort room and the rooms are so small.
As you can see, this Wi-Fi is only available at the first floor of this hotel. This make everyone gather below the hotel at night and make we all able to share our experience in Osaka and this frequently gave us idea what to do at the next day in Osaka. Besides, just beside this hotel, there is a food stall which open almost 24 hour and selling variety of food for your breakfast, lunch and dinner. And the price and amount is really reasonable and is tasty~ There is a city subway (Doubutsumae Station) entrance just beside this hotel, you can easily get to any place here by just going down the subway entrance. Talk about transportation, city subway and JR station, both are within walking distance, and there are no issue for anyone who use Osaka Amazing Pass or JR Pass. The best thing about this hotel is the early check in (9.00), which mean you can just check in if your arrive early in the morning and have a good day in Osaka without need to go back and check in again in the after noon.
Cleanliness in this hotel might be an issue, but I think is at the acceptable level due to the aging of the building.
Close to supermarket and wide variety of food shops. Located in an area with a strong character, different from typical touristy area.
Ultra super cheap
gives u wat u need to spend the night at low cost
not quite homely
Low cost, location, rooms ridiculously small but give you some privacy as opposed to a hostel... better than capsule hotel I stayed in in Tokyo...
For the money I paid I was fairly satisfied... maybe just the fact that wifi was not available in the room, could only access on the 1st floor...
Less than half a minute from subway and 8 minutes from Nankai express station (to Kansai airport). Very friendly staff. Very cheap concerning the other hotels in Japan.
Very small room and not clean, but you get what you pay for.
The only attracting factor is price. Really cheap with 2000 yen for 1 room for 2 persons. Otherwise, they provide bicycle for free.
All equipment here sucks. Internet can be accessed only on the 1st floor. There is no way to access internet in room. Therefore, it seems that almost guests gather on the 1st floor although the space there is limited. There are 2 bathrooms for women but nearly ten guys sitting near the door of the bathroom. 'Coz I m a girl, this really frightened me. There are 2 buildings for this motel. The front one looks very old. The back building looks better but equipment for the toilet is still old-fashioned. Even futon, pillow and mattress dont look clean as what I think about Japan. I will not recommend this place for my friends.
The hotel is conveniently located near the train station.Toilets are located on each floor. Our room had a refrigerator, TV and air conditioner. You get what you pay for, consider it a small room with nothing note worthy.
There are only two female bathrooms which are on the first floor. Please note, there are several floors, with one elevator that shuts quickly. The lounge area is right outside the female bathroom, so guys were always loitering around trying to get wifi access. We didn't have wifi in our room either. Room was also very small and the washroom was un-kept, very dirty.
Valuable with the price. The receptionists are friendly, can speak English well.
- I didn't know that there are no separate areas for male and female guests, even the toilets in upper floors. - There are no internet in upper floors, only the 1st floor has internet. - The room and mattress are not cleaned.
At least the toilet is clean.
The floor is dirty. I dont understand why they wanted us barefoot when the floor is dirty. Wifi is only at the lounge and lobby and it is very slow.
Close to the metro and JR lines, very very cheap
If you want to live a "jail experience", you have to stay here... Only for fearless peolple
Biking around osaka is one of the coolest things you can do, also had great sleeps here despite the small room, cool toilet that heats your bum, close to great supermarket, really enjoyed my stay here. Free laundry too :)
Older building, could be a little cleaner. Beware of elevator door
While you may not enter a chamber of gold through a mystical tiger head in the desert, the place is ¥1,000 a night. The futon is really comfortable and the characters are really colourful. You may meet a couple Jafar type people, but keep your wits like Aladdin and you'll have a great time. No magic carpet but the place is three street stalls away from the subway. Enjoy it, if you dare!
No air con, but, ¥1,000!!!!
near to shinsekei... due to its cheap surrounding area able to get cheap food easily...
old building with fan is too hot for summer...
Its extremely cheap cheaper than some capsule hotels. Good location
very small room nothing but bed and frige One common shower in the first floor of the building
Unique experience Cheapest in Osaka Has swminig pool
Hey, many things, but for 900yen what do you expect? You go and you sleep, that's all.
Staff was very helpful. Bikes free to use. You get your own room. Place clean.
People smoking in the lobby.
Price. Woman spoke good english. good atmoshere with the people. Door to the street is open, so not a feeling of being locked up. The free bike rent.
Hygiene. Corners are never cleaned. Old towels and they don't look clean. Please throw them away. Tv on room doesn't work. Should just be removed. Wifi won't reach the eating room.
Affordable. Surprisingly cheap for Japan!!!
You get what you pay for!
Very very very cheap compare with other hostel in Japan. With elevator so that you do not need to carry your luggage.
The air-con is too cold and cannot adjust temp.
It's cheap. On the subway line to the Osaka downtown. I was always able to use the women's showers straight away even thought theee were only two.
TV didn't work in my room. I was given a non-smoking room but someone in another room connected to my room's air conditioner must have been smoking in their room because it came into mine and woke me up several times at night. Not all the staff can speak English. I don't like having to rope in another guest to translate. I'm not asking for native fluency but at least at the level of "I will check out tomorrow before reception opens. Can I please get my key deposit early?"
