I'm a budget traveler and this hotel is the place I would recommend to all the other budget travelers visiting Osaka. Satomi Abe and all the staff are very welcoming and friendly ! I you are not picky, this is the place to stay in Osaka.
Cheap place, close to station, free bike
no air con is too cold for winter
So cheap - right near Spa World! Right near many different modes and lines of transport (train, bus, tram...); not hard to get to the heart of the city and has so many amenities nearby; right near my old high school from when I was an exchange student! (Personal win.)
Going downstairs for the Wi-Fi, and the inability to turn off the heater (built into the ceiling). But I paid peanuts for the place, so I wasn't complaining! Great value ♡ I did not appreciate the smoking allowances in the foyer, but this is Japan, and I could always get away from it in the eating area, although the Wi-Fi was no good in there...
It is cheap and fair when comparing the facilities and room fee. Wifi is only available at reception, so you can make some friends while using wifi as many others also use wifi at reception.
Dirty pillow, bed Small room
This hotel got many negative reviews, but you can't expect the comfort of a 5-star hotel for this price. You pay the bare minimum, you get the bare minimum: a bed and a (clean) shower. Super duper friendly staff, really, they were lovely. You can leave your luggage at the reception before and after you check-in/out. On the Osaka loop line, so easy to access and good location for sightseeing in Osaka, or excellent stopover for those arriving late at KIX who want to rest for a night before moving on to the rest of Kansai.
If you go there in winter, the rooms are not heated and not well (if at all) insulated, so either bring another blanket or very very warm clothes! The futon is pretty thin so if this is a problem for you I'd advise against staying more than a couple of nights.
cheap if you just need a place to sleep. and location is good as its 5-7 minute walk from the nearest station.
dirty overall. capsule like rooms (single rooms, i didn't see double bed room). no wifi in the rooms, only available on the reception floor.
was very inexpensive
very smoky, bad smell in room, dog feces on stairs
The staff were friendly and hospitable.
To be honest, it didn't even remotely resemble a motel. The whole place was very old and my room was cramped and it was too cold at night during winter. But I ended up staying for 3 nights. The staffs' good attitude kind of make up for it.
I like comfortable bedroom with attached bath
I like the bathroom most
The lobby because of the cigarette smell
When we arrived the staff gave my children some sweets which made them very happy. Great value for money and 30 minutes door to door to USJ
People smoking Pet
No Heater!!!So Terrible.
accessible from the train station
unclean within the hotel premises, smoking area at the lobby exposing hotel guests to second-hand tobacco smoke.
Very interesting part of Osaka!! Unusual.
You get what you paid for.
Cleanliness is the main concern. Its not convenient to take shower in 1st floor but our room is in 5th floor. They should have 1 shower room for every floor.
Urine stains on wall; one squat toilet for entire floor of 50+ rooms; no heat; futon bed on hardwood floor instead of tatami; poor sound isolation; stank of human waste.
The location is strategic, very near with subway station and cheap supermarket. Next to the hotel is japanesse food stall operating 24 hours.
Maybe the owner keep dog in the hotel, may not suitable for certain guest. Sometime the blanket inside room not clean (i found a hair)and kitchen at every floor not well maintain.
I cant sleep well on the floor, the next day i requested another room which i add 600 yen a day. Bed wasn't that comfortable.
a lot of hot water, warm common room, nice staff
the room is freezing cold, as I pay the lowest rate... the sheets are dirty that I got to re-cover it with the cloth I brought wifi only on 1st floor. and it just an alley away from the red district, quiet spooky if you walked alone at night, especially if you are a girl
Good location; single Japanese-style room for only 1000 yen (cannot be found in Kansai.
The Japanese-style public bathroom
Price Close to subway and train JR
WIFI only in very small room in basement without enough chairs or sofa.
I hope the place is clean, quiet and comfortable.
I don't like dirty and pets.
