Hotel Gasthof  

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast inexpensive.

The whole place smelled of cigarette smoke, even our "non-smoking" room...

Breakfast was excellent and bed was super comfortable. Staff were friendly and super helpful.

Room was not very clean as dust had built up in corners and above picture in room. Room needed to be cleaned more thoroughly.

It was okay, it was really clean and the staff was good.

Staff were friendly and had limited English but managed OK. Very close with an easy two minute walk to railway station. Easy walk to the waterfront. Room was average. Free internet at reception was good. OK for overnight stay.

Room was bigger than other hotels we have stayed at but still small to Western standard. Bathroom very small. Room dark and uninviting, looking tired and in need of renovation.

Good location, easily seen sign from main road. Big beds for tall gaijin. Staff, especially Miss Nakamata who speaks very good English, were excellent.

After having stayed at some backpacker hostels it feels like quite a luxury, having a big western style bed, tv and an own bathroom with towels. It is really close to the main train station.

No foreign language skills at the reception. "Only" Japanese breakfast but for a good price though (500 Y).

It was a charming room.

The front desk was manned with staff with limited English. And the doors to the room were difficult to close. You had to jiggle it, sometimes lifting it in order to align the knob to close the door.

The breakfast was a buffet of asian foods do not confuse with the advertised "continental breakfast"

５００円の朝食は、美味しくて安い　 駅に近いし、屋台村もすぐそこ。

トリプルルームはベツトが、狭く高さがあり、幼児が夜中転げ落ちた。

価格、立地、サービス、インテリア、朝食、どれも満足できるものでした。また利用したいと思えるホテルです- 。

落ち着いた雰囲気のホテルで観光にもビジネスにもOk。鹿児島屋台村に近くて楽しめる。フロントでウェルカ- ム焼酎がフリーなのがいい。

昔、ドイツで宿泊したホテルと雰囲気が同じ。昨今のビジネスホテルと異なり非常に落ち着いて大変好かった。- いいホテルにであった。感謝！！

le quartier malgre les quelques restaurants a proximite et la gare toute proche le centre ville reste un peu loin

３人部屋のあるホテルが少なく、偶然見つけて予約をし、安いホテルでしたから何も期待していませんでしたし- 、朝食代が非常に安かったので、簡易食だと思っていましたが、おいしい料理が並べて有り、病気あがりの夫は- 大満足でした。 　それに、スタッフの方々どなたも、明るくさわやかで、鹿児島に行ったら、又利用しようと話しております。

ボディーソープ、シャンプーが洗面台の上に有り、バスタブへ運ばなければならなかったこと、バスタブで足が- 伸ばせなかった事、お茶の湯を通路の端まで入れにいかなければならなかったことでしょうか。

ホテルのスタッフの対応がよい。ホテルの雰囲気がよい。廊下や階段，部屋の飾りなどがおしゃれ。朝食はもと- より，ルームチャージなどコストパフォーマンスが最高。公共交通機関の基点にベストロケーション。

Japanese breakfast buffet was outstanding!! Staff was very courteous and helpful.

The staff was really nice and even suggested me a bottle of water which was a great relief for me on a hot summer day. Although the kagoshima didn't impress me that much I really enjoyed my time staying at the gasthof hotel. I would definately suggest this hotel to other travellers as well.
