- perfect location, view of Tokyo tower was easy to find and closed to station
woman staff in the lobby was not nice
Location is good
Very helpful staff, clean & comfortable atmosphre. From our hotel room we could see Tokyo Tower on New Year Eve 2015
We had a top floor suite, which was very comfortable and had great views. The Metro was a short walk away, and friendly staff helped us find shops and places to eat nearby.
Location Views from the bedroom Facilities and price
Staffs Room View
Location was really close to a station and across the road from the Imperial Gardens.
No bellmen so you are expected to carry your own bags. While this may be fine for the average business traveller it was not fine for me TRAVELLING with two heavy bags and a carry-on; no concierge and reception staff were not hugely helpful with local information.
Tatami room is comfy
Price is abit high
Hotel is very near to Hanzomon subway line. Room is relatively bigger than a normal Tokyo hotel room. Great view of Tokyo Tower and part of Imperial Palace. Hotel Grand Arc is a good choice if you're after rest and relaxation because the area is very quiet.
Nothing much to do within the area since it's an embassy district. AC/Heater's thermostat is very hard to regulate. No complimentary bottled water which is unusual for a hotel of this caliber.
the cover of the bed is too thick for me
For the location and the quality of the hotel, Grand Arc Hanzomon is a STEAL. Book early and enjoy! The view from my room was awesome, staff were responsive and helpful, and the location was PERFECT for exploring Tokyo for the first time!
The breakfasts were pricey and on the small side, but that kinda comes with the territory in hotels.
Wifi password changed without notice and was inconvenient to get the new password
Close to Imperial Palace Close to subway Cleanliness Beautiful hotel From the room, we can see Imperial Palace & Tokyo Tower
Bathroom is amazing
Nothing, great hotel
very clean, as most hotels in Japan great view from the room over the emperor's gardens
interiors from the 90ies, would need some renovations, but nothing was really broken (except one loose drawer), just a bit outdated location was not convenient from the train station, you need to switch, area is kind of dead in the evening for Tokyo standards no bigger problems and everything was more or less o.k., just the overall feeling was that the whole hotel was outdated and stuck in the last century
The room was large for japanese standard, lovely view wifi excellent.
The bed was small and hard.
Not at all
The location where hotel was terrible. We took about an hour looked for the hotel. It was awful hotel i've ever stayed. They don't even have a non-smoking room and the view also wasn't good. Small size bed, small room...
Great location Very clean
Good location and nice view over the city central / imperial palace garden area. Few minutes of walk to various sub-way connections as well as short taxi rides to many key points of Tokyo.
Inside of room is getting a bit old but still very clean and comfortable.
Everyone is kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The rooms are traditional Japanese with futon beds made up by staff in the late afternoon which are less comfortable than a bed but a good experience. Great views from the upper story rooms.
The location is by far the best. They gave in to my request of having a perfect view of the Imperial Palace! I did enjoy my stay. It is also extremely close to the Hanzomon Station which grants you direct access to Tokyo Station, thus all over Tokyo and Japan as a result!
great view over tokyo and the imperial gardens
