Score from 500 reviews Very good
the location is not perfect
Hanzomon metro station is close, exit 1
Breakfast is ok, but could be better
The location of the hotel was good for using the underground
I was on a smoking floor
Excellent service, close to METRO, perfect location. Helpful staff.
Amazing views of Tokyo from the apartment, including Tokyo Tower!
The room was a little bit small
The staff was very helpful
The location was fine, the rooms were comfortable.
The staff had an air of arrogance about them. We walked in looking bedraggled after a long journey and perhaps they have judged us on our appearance.
Next to jogging trail and good metro connection
Missed a gym and onsen
We stayed at a Tatami Room for three nights and we slept so comfortable. Quite and clean room with cozy pajamas provided by the hotel. Great view.
Staff was extremely helpful. Amazing view from room. Very clean. Nice design to building. Very convenient location. Very nice lounge on 4 with gorgeous view. One of the best hotel experiences I have had anywhere.
We liked the Japanese style rooms. They were bigger than most Tokyo hotel rooms. The futons were very comfortable to sleep on. Free wifi in your rooms - so convenient! There is a drinking fountain, ice making machine and vending machine on each floor which is convenient. The japanese style rooms also have 2 wash stands which is convenient!
The location! We came into Tokyo by Narita airport and took the Narita airport express. We got off at Shibuya station and then had to change trains (it's quite a walk to transfer trains in the Shibuya) and then took the Hanzomon line to get off at Hanzomon. With luggage in two and the many stairs in the station (not many easy to find elevators) it was a bit of a hassle to get to the hotel in Hanzomon. Next time I would select a more centrally located hotel, near Tokyo station so it's easy access. Breakfast was limited to Japanese style breakfast (rice, miso soup, fish of the day usually salmon or white fish) and western style "American breakfast" (eggs, toast, bacon). It was not buffet style (which could have been highlighted). All in all, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Just wouldn't stay there again for the location.
Wonderful view on Tokyo from the room. Very well equiped. Comfortable beds. Welcoming staff.
A little bit disappointed by the restaurant downstairs (level -1)
Facilities, toiletries, Good view of the city, good smoking room
Nothing much. Very nice hotel
Friendly staff, very clean , good value
Reasonable priced comfortable hotel next to the Imperial Palace Grounds. easy access to Tokyo Station by taxi or Underground. We have already booked next trip. Highly recommended. Keep it a secret!!

The hotel was very nice and seemed quite new! The staff could speak English quite good - at least those at the reception. The room was big enough with a bed, a desk and a safe. The bathroim was big enough too and everything was very clean! Wifi also worked good enough. The room in the 14th floor was very quiet (no noise at all) and offered a nice vieww over the city! We would go there again.
The only thing that comes to my mind would be that you have to take a subway line to reach the JR Yamanote line, which is really important for travellers. So it's really nice and a real quiet area but you may have to drive more around with the subway to reach everything.
The hotel was very near a metro station and there are some places to eat around. Very near the Imperial Palace and walking to Ginza is a good 20min only. Quiet neighborhood. They also upgraded us to a better room when the ac in our original room didn't work.
No room service & open shower so water spilled on the floor
Meals Staff helpful but lacking in knowledge of the area
Location Lack of choice on bars and opening times
Great location for access to transportation as well as view from room. Quieter area of Tokyo for a good rest, but easy access to subway (use exit 1 for easiest access). Comfortable room, pretty roomy for Japanese hotel.
Dining and shopping options more limited than other Tokyo areas.
Service, very smal room, thin matras, no help with excursions, poor English
- Location a short walk (5min) from sub station - Nice view of Tokyo - plenty of restaurants a short walk from the hotel - nice traditional Japanese room
- for three people the room was very small by American standards ( I guess it was ok by Japanese standards)
Quiet, spacious room with an excellent view of the park. Consistently available wireless and helpful staff, with lots of in-room niceties provided as well as a spacious desk to work on. Easily accessible by both subway and bus.
Minor thing, but Hanzomon station will almost certainly require you to make a connection or two to reach any major area other than Shibuya.
