After our two night stay at the start of our holiday, we were advised to contact the hotel direct for future bookings. On doing so, the female staff member said there were no rooms available for two nights. This meant we had to stay in two different rooms for two nights at the end of our trip. The female staff member was not only inflexible in assisting us, she was actually smirking while I was speaking with the manager about the issue. It was the only experience of such rudeness and lack of co-operation that we experienced during our three week trip around Japan. Very disappointing for a hotel of this standard.
Views, luxurious room, comfy bed.
No escalator at nearby tube station entrance. However nice walk from further entrance. we found nice coffee shops and bars this way!
Waking up to the marvellous views of Tokyo. The deluxe room was spacious and comfortable and great value.
the room was too small for three people
no microwave oven
big size room，clean，quiet and comfortable
Superb location and magnificent views
For the price & at japan's common standard for Hotel, it's slightly expensive and the room was small for double. But it's still worth it:)
Location, near metro tokyo hanzomon exit 1 or 3b (with escalator going up) , view from room.. Could save suitcases/luggages before check in & after check out..
Really convenient spot near Hanzomon station, which is quiet. Our room overlooked the Imperial Palace - we were so thrilled to end our stay with that image. It was small bit thats expected and it was still comfortable. Staff was really pleasant and helpful. For the price we booked, we felt we got A phenomenal value. Hotels in US are same price as this beautiful place so it is a deal to us!
easy check in. Geourgeous view from our room on the 17th floor. neighborhood has many interesting restaurants. Found a cozy place around the corner which is packed with business people relaxing after work with great food.
Stairs at hanzomon subway
Location, spacious room, wifi, window view
In my room was a little dusty, but overall it was such a good experience to stay in this hotel.
The view from my room, near to the Park and good access to the Hanzomon subway
Excellent value. Spacious room with everything we needed. Fabulous view overlooking the imperial palace gardens. Thank you for forwarding a pair of spectacles I left there. Much appreciated!
They were unable to post a letter for us, which was very unusual, in fact I have never experienced a hotel not offering postal service before, especially a business hotel.
It was very clean and in a fantastic location for what we wanted. It was a formal business venue so a bit more suited to the professional traveller.
Liked the view from room. Room is clean and service was good.
Hotel itself was excellent. Very close to Hanzomon Station so easy to access. Only draw back is that there are no lifts or escalators to help with transport of luggage at Hanzomon Station. It was difficult to negotiate the many flights of stairs with heavy bags.
The staff were friendly, obliging and so helpful. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The views from the room were wonderful. Very close to transport and major tourist attractions.
The Hotel Grand Arc Hanzomon is a very good business hotel right across from the Imperial palace in the Hanzomon area. Rooms are small, as is typical in Tokyo hotels but adequately sized for 1 or 2. Upkeep and cleanliness is immaculate. Front desk is very professional with good English-speaking staff. Patio restaurant offers western and Asian meals and a good breakfast option (may cost extra). The location is primarily a quiet commercial area with many office buildings but two subway stations are reasonably close by to explore other parts of Tokyo. There are several restaurants nearby - cannot vouch for them however. The Imperial Palace grounds provide a very scenic view for eastward-facing rooms. Tours are available there 3 or 4 days a week, and a pedestrian pathway around the palace walls is used by joggers and bikers. This is an excellent property and very reasonably priced for a quality Tokyo business hotel. I believe Japanese style sleeping accomodations are available in many of the (west-facing?) rooms as well.
The free breakfast was incredible - you had a choice of traditional Japanese or 3 different Western breakfasts. the staff in the restaurant was incredibly helpful, and respectful. The English of all staff was impeccable.
The hotel is very near to Hanzomon Station, and on top of it it's just a walking distance to the Tokyo Palace. We could also see Tokyo Tower from our room. We stayed at the tatami room. The futon was very comfortable.
Bit out of the citycenter, but Tokyo is that big you need a metro anyway, and that is so nearby. Being able to make coffee on the room would be great. All is there, razors, hairstuff, toothbrushes, watercooker, tea, so why not a bit of coffee and sugar? Closet a bit too small for a longer stay, had to leave half of my stuff in the suitcase. But still: when this is all to complain about it's still a great place!
Rooms are located from 7-17th floor, so there will not be many rooms with a bad view. I stayed at 14th, it was awesome, what a skyline! Hardly reason to go out. :) Punctual cleaning, comfortable room, good wifi, not even expensive, several supermarkets and simple restaurants nearby, metro Hanzomon around the corner. Would stay here again!
Some receptionists less pleasant than others.
Nearby underground made it easy to get around. Fairly firm matress very comfortable. Good views. Choice of breakfast not bad and the staff were really kind. Good wifi.
Great location, near Imperial Palace, nice views. The japanese breakfast and western breakfast was nice. I would like to return there the next time that I'll go to Tokyo.
Hanzomon is a nice area with Kojimachi Cafe restaurant for evening meals. Across the street beside the entrance No.1 to the metro is a bookshop with a coffee bar and around the corner is a small bar for a nightcap.
Cannot find the subway elevator and had to struggle with our luggage up a few flights of stairs in the midst of rushing commuters.
Pleasant quiet neighbourhood next to the National Theatre with beautiful cherry trees. Lovely japanese breakfast.
the location, the convenience to Family Mart etc
Like the lady serving breakfast named if I'm not wrong is Yata Mata that served breakfast. If she is not a captain there it would b a shame on the management for not noticing her caliber.
