Staff makes you feel welcome and show attention to details. Good Japanese and Western choices of in-house restaurants that are very reasonably priced.
Friendly staff, ideal location
Clean, near to metro station, right in the middle of Tokyo city.
Good location Good staff Good clean room
Super convenient location and great Japanese Breakfast
Decor was a little tired and standard room tiny
Hotel was clean and very comfortable. Check in and out were efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The Breakfast menu did not change for the 5 nights I was there. There was only the same boring Japanese set and 3 rather similar American sets to chose from. Really regret booking room with breakfast.
location, view, room has everything you need
Room is a bit small
The lobby was clean, simple and professional when we arrived. We went in November and a large Christmas tree was up for the holiday season. The staff members were very friendly. We only speak a few Japanese phrases but were able to communicate with them as they knew some English. The room we had was maybe a double or full bed, small compact room with nice view of a river and the city (with Tokyo Tower). The decor was minimal, but elegant. Nothing felt old or stuffy. It felt like measures were taken in the design of the room to provide comfort for the customer (like all the room's light switches could additionally be controlled by buttons near the bed's headboard). The showerhead was notably great because it had high pressure and a large overhead spray. We ate at the restaurant in the lobby which had nice architecture of tall, windows curving around the tables. We chose the western style breakfast of eggs, bacon, muffin, juice, coffee, fruit, etc... It was quite delicious! (everything in Japan tastes better than in the USA hehe) I must say, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to borrow umbrellas during our stay and even for the day after we checked out. They also stored our luggage and shopping bags for us after checking out so we could explore more of Tokyo without the luggage. When we needed taxis, the hotel would call the service and speak to the driver to help explain our destination. The staff walked us out numerous times including when we went out for day excursions with a taxi and when saying goodbye at the end of our stay. The location was great because it was near the Hanzomon train station and near the Imperial Palace which has free entry to the gardens, as well as the National Museum of Modern Art. We will be back at the Grand Arc again because of the great service and clean room with nice features. And what a great price!
There is nothing we didn't like. The hotel was great! It is not an ultra fancy or plush hotel, but that was not expected. It was a very clean, modern business style hotel. We would definitely go back!
- Staff were very polite and understanding. -English speaking staff. - Payment is upfront. No hidden fees. - Vending machines on each floor. - Very close to the train station, ideal location of you are travelling a lot within Tokyo. - Internet and printing facilities are useful and cheap.
Clean and even if the room is small, it has everything we need. The room is cleaned daily, towels and sundries replaced daily. Staff is very helpful and efficient.
For those looking for proximity to the train station, it is not too far from it. However, the station that services this does not have an escalator or elevator, only stairs.
The location is great, the view is nice, the neighbourhood is far from nightlife which is good for sleeping All the staff is very fluent at English and this helps a lot. Shibuya is only like 5 stations away so no problem when using Airport Limousine, you can just arrive at Shibuya Mark City and take a stroll to the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line.
Good house keeping, quiet room, fast and easy to connect internet, good toiletry/amenities, good breakfast.
A bit far from metro station, breakfast selection limited.
Friendly staff and close to Imperial Palace
too small room and bed. It is definitely not double in size!
Location and exceptional value for money
Astonishing view over Tokyo from our room at the 10th floor. Very good WI-FI connection. Close to the metro Hanzomon (exit no.1 or 2)
No breakfast included.
Excellent view of the Imperial Palace garden and the city from our bedroom window. Good breakfast.
Location next to National Theather. Hotel's restruant
Superb views over Imperial Palace grounds, Ginza, Govt Bldngs, Tokyo Tower from front rooms. Nice breakfast included in room rate Friendly staff.
Having to leave!
Good location, good value, nice and helpful staff
Need firmer pillows, but that was just our personal preference.
Super beautiful night view of Tokyo, facing Tokyo tower and imperial palace. Very kind staff and English communication is no problem at all. Clean and tidy, wifi works well, value for money Close to metro station
Only close to Hanzomon metro station, which limits the possibility to take JR or other metro lines quickly w/o transfer.
Really liked the place, staff, location. However, by 8am the sun reaches the window and temperature gets unstandable. Probably rooms in the other side are ok, but my experience was not good in this aspect. Despite that, i still recommend it.
Close to Hazomon Station, so could connect to anywhere in Tokyo. Several small excellent restaurants nearby.
Restaurants in hotel where somewhat expensive. Was our first experience with sleeping on futons on tatami floor, sleep was excellent, but moving about the room limiting.
