Score from 32 reviews Very good
Good location, easy to park my car, near to the railway station and easy to go places.
The hotel does not have an adapter for my Australian plug for my electronic gear.
Location to train station and public bus station.
The rooms could do with some refurbishing.
just 1 minute from the JR station. interesting neighbourhood. not far from the castle. room perfectly clean and very comfortable bed. kind staff.
standard western/business hotel (which could be an advantage for many)
too expensive. unbelievable price, charging more than 20,000yen/night for a hotel this level. 8,000yen would be max you'd pay for this Japanese business inn.
One of the women's stuff at front desk was not courteous. The top of the refrigerator was so dusty.
The room was too small, the double bed has to be placed against a wall on the side. The buffet breakfast on the 5th floor was expensive, whereas a breakfast of toast, juice and coffee in the cafe on the ground floor was very reasonably priced.
Excellent service and in-room facilities. I was offered for upgrade to bigger room when arrived with two friends. Some extra fees applied, we were impressed by the much better facilities we expected in a city hotel room.
None that I can think of.
Everybody was so nice and polite !! The bathroom was little too small but we'll stay there again for sure !!
The glass shelf top of the sink, we always hit our head when we wash our face.
Small rooms, probably normal for Japan Restaurant not open after 22:00
The staff were very friendly, bed was comfortable. Hotel entrance is only a 30 second walk from front of Wakayama station. Isetan department store is accessible with out having to go outside, if you walk from the Hotel lobby towards the exit, take the left side glass door to Isetan and you can walk down the stairs to the food market where many prepared meals await you!
Not a lot to say here, perhaps the only bad thing was the room key is large and old but easily left at the reception as explained in hotel manual.
Vending machines in the hotel. Free wifi. Next to mainline train station. Friendly and helpful staff.
Staff spoke little English.
Room size small
Just a few meters from the Wakayama station. Good reasonably priced cafes and restaurants in the hotel. Good breakfast. OK room. I got a good price.
Hotel entrance could be better marked and visible from the station. Chair in the room could not be adjusted to fit the height of the desk, so working on the laptop was awkward.
The hotel is close to the station. The staff was very helpful. He gave us direction to the good Wakayama ramen restaurant nearby, as well as a discount coupon of Porto Europa and a train and a bus schedule to go there.
This hotel is just next to wakayama station and walk about 2 minutes. Nearby the hotel also have bus and other transportation very convenience. Next to the hotel is a shopping mall and with food place. Inside the room is very tidy and basic facilities are supply.
Large room, great castle view, really close to the station and all the major needs, shops, restaurants etc. Great service from the staff.
Maybe the Wakayama Police could use their sirens a little less in the early hours but that is beyond the hotel's control!
Wifi connection is very poor, had to leave the door ajar to get some connection.
Very small room.
Free bicycle rental. Free luggage storage. Excellent helpful staff, especially the lady staff who helped me to make reservation for chestnut picking when I checked in on 20 Sep 2013, unfortunately I didn't get her name.
Room a bit small.
Easy for shopping.
Very nice and incredibly helpful staff.
A weird smell, almost like a sewage backup, wafted through the hallways and our room each night. It was quite offensive.
the room was quite small.
Centrally located, wonderful service, comfortable and big room, right next to train and bus stations, near tourist attractions, attached to a mini mall, close to fantastic Japanese restaurants
