Green Gables  

Affordable apartment with a small kitchen. Friendly staff. Clean room with a bathroom. Some bath supplies are provided.

The apartment building is a bit far from the sightseeings and from the railway station. Only one bus goes to the apartment building, and it departures only twice an hour.

The room was clean. It's set up like an apartment so you can cook if you don't want to eat out. close to bus stops that get you the city center. The staff were very accommodating. The outside may not look like much but rooms are very nice i found.

During the peak season, to find a room in Kyoto is difficult enough. Green Gables is not in central part of the city. The staff there hardly provide any service since it is an apartment room rented for a short period instead of a hotel room. But It is cheap, convenient to stay with a bathroom and a kitchen attached to the room, and a bus stop 2-minutes walk away. So, I have nothing to complain.

The staff were very accommodating. Not noisy. No curfew. Close to the bus stop.

The room was a little dull looking inside.

The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions. He printed out bus times and fixed up Wifi acess in our room.

It was very difficult to find anyone at the time we wanted to check in and also when we checked out, but as we didn't speak much japanese and we didn't have a phone this may have been the problem for us.

not clean. fridge was even mouldy, I had to clean it before using it. Took me for ever to find it as the sign is very small and the map directed me to the street at the back. Very poor maintenance of a 60's building. Looks like students or foreign workers live there. Communal area and lift dirty. Quite far away for tube, but direct bus to city (46) and conveniently placed to explore North East Kyoto.

The rooms has all private facilities, including LAN cable to use internet!

It's quite far from the Subway station.

Price, last chance for Kyoto during the peak season.

宿の方が親切でわざわざ地下鉄駅まで迎えに来ていただきました。また、安いので、長く滞在するならずっとお- 得になると思います。

買日用品很方便,有洗衣機跟微波爐,,事前告知亦有腳踏車可租借,隔音設備比一般的日式和室來得好,有個人浴室!價格經濟實惠,在旅遊旺季訂不到房間時是一個不錯的選擇~位於住宅區,晚上很安靜!

地處京都北邊交通不便,不過搭公車可以到河原町.祉園.金閣寺等鬧區,建議在第一天到京都車站時先去拿京都區公車地圖,第一次可先照步行到北大路地鐵站，搭北1巴士到常德寺前站，但之後熟悉附近地形後,搭46號公車會比搭地鐵轉公車快!

Schlecht zu finden, obwohl gleich gegenüber von der Bushaltestelle auf der anderen Strassenseite wenige Meter gegen die Fahrtrichtung: unscheinbares Appartmenthaus mit ebenso unscheinbaren Hinweisschild auf die Unterkunft.

Läget med gångavstånd till många sevärdheter,även om hotellet inte ligger i centrum. 15/20 min från tunnelbanestationen Kitaoji,trevlig promenadväg. Bussar utanför knuten,både ner på stan och till Kitaoji om man inte vill gå. Nära templet Kinkaku,botaniska trädgården. Green Gables är ett lägenhetshotel,har ingen egentlig reception. Ägare/ housekeeper tycks bo i huset. Rummet har litet pentry,kokplatta,liten balkong. Man får ett keycard och kommer o går som man vill. Rummet var rent,gott om golvyta. Tvättmaskin finns på bottenvåningen. Mataffärer runtom i grannskapet. Liten coffeshop i direkt angränsande byggnad,de serverar olika frukostar från runt 450 yen,rostat bröd kaffe ägg.

Los propietarios se portaron bastante bien, la habitación es relativamente grande para ser Japón, y que los servicios de lavadoras eran gratuitos.

Está bastante lejos del centro.

Note positif moins négatif= 5, et je suis gentil! Le patron est sympa.....par téléphone! Calme de l'hôtel: je ne sais pas si j'avais des voisins mais ne les ai pas entendus, par contre insonorisation médiocre par rapport à la rue Une TV que je n'ai pas mise, et internet par câble qui fonctionne très bien

Arrivée: par le train, vous avez le choix entre le métro (avec changement) ou bien vous prenez le bus et vous en avez au moins pour 40 minutes sans changement sauf ensuite une marche d'environ 20 minutes. En sortant du bus, vous rejoignez le croisement devant vous à 60 mêtres et vous prenez l'avenue sur votre gauche pour aller tout droit. L'hôtel est sur le trottoir de droite après un petit temple et près d'un garage. Il est à peine visible! Ce sont des Japonais qui m'ont aidé, et pourtant ils étaient du coin mais ne le connaissaient pas! Accueil? Il n'y a pas de réception, j'ai frappé au hasard à la première porte sur ma gauche et j'ai été accueilli par une jeune femme au milieu d'un tas de linge, et visiblement je l'importunais. Elle m'a montré ma "chambre appartement" en deux minutes et j'ai bien cru que j'arrivais en prison (tristesse des murs). Je ne l'ai jamais revue! Plusieur heures plus tard, à 21h15, une dame (assez gentille) s'est présentée pour me faire payer en liquide (rien à redire, c'est prévu) Elle a reconnu une erreur car il y avait deux fois mon nom sur leur liste!! Appartement sans petit déjeuner et sans repas, vous devez vous débrouiller, mais la kitdhenette se réduit à une plaque chauffante sans le moindre ustensile pour cuisiner! Si ce n'est une sorte de bouilloire électrique avec laquelle j'ai fait mon café! Pas de tracas et haut les coeurs! Il y a des mini markets dans le coin pour se débrouiller Salle de bain: vous avez intérêt à avoir votre matériel car en dehors de serviettes non changées sur plusieurs jours, il n'y a rien. Quant aux poubelles! Elle a été vidée à mon départ! Lit: une sorte de duvet sur un bon matelas Pas de bureau, ni de chaise, mais une table basse et un coussin qui peut à l'occasion servir de second oreiller! Emplacement: à 1 heure et 15 minutes de marche du centre ville Expérience intéressante que je ne renouvellerai pas!

Lokalizacja fatalna !!!!, hotel kompletnie nieoznakowany, . Taksówkarz go nie znalazł, nawet pytając ludzi mieszkających w okolicy. Gdyby nie to, że moja córka płynnie mówi po japońsku, nigdy byśmy go nie znaleźli.

週末でホテルの予約が出来ず困って探し出した。一応閑静なロケーション。大徳寺への徒歩圏内。コンビニが近- くにある。学生向き。

場所が分からず見つけるのに苦労した。ホテルと思っていったが、実際はアパートの一室を貸しているというイ- メージ。TVはつかなかった。

価格が安く、部屋がキレイで快適だった。

洗濯機が故障していた。

仏教大学の夏期スクーリングで10泊しました。仏教大学まで徒歩圏で、途中、スーパー、コンビニ、パン屋、- ファミレスなどの飲食店がありました。仏教大学のスクーリングで利用するには、便利だと思います。新年度の- スクーリングのスケジュールがわかってから、すぐに申し込めたのも良かったです（他の施設には、3か月前に- ならないと申し込めないところもありました）。

施設や設備、シーツ・タオル類が古く、食器は共用でした。気にならない方には、問題ないと思います。私は、- シーツやアウトドア用の食器を持参しました。

Excellent price for Kyoto. We waited too late to book for a weekend. Prices were way too high at other locations, so, we took a chance. Apartment style rooms - a lot of space for a Japanese hotel. Right near a bus stop which will take you anywhere in the city. Good bathroom and kitchenette in the room. Tea kettle and a variety of kitchen supplies available from the staff.

The rooms are old and could use renovation. Everything was clean, no bugs, but the linens were old and dingy. The hotel is cared for by a very sweet lady and I think she does the housekeeping herself. At first sight, I was a little concerned about how the weekend would go, but it was overall a pleasant stay - comfortable. I would not reccommend this location for small children who may be crawling on the floor.
