Friendly staff - distance about 8 minutes from the railwaystation sendai and 10 minutes from a huge shopping area. Ok for a night, when you visit the area,
We preferred a non-smoking-room and got a former smoking-room. The smell was very bad - using the air conditioning was impossible, because the smell in the room became more intensive.
The location of the hotel is superb
The mattress was tilted and we both had back pains all the time we slept there.
AC and breakfast
Bed was short for 6+ tall man
Small and a bit crowded
The hotel go easy way and near station.can leave baggage before check in.
Near the main JR Station, stamdard businesses hotel room for a reasonable price.
No breakfast included and rather expensive. Just buy something at a Combini near by.
No water kettle. Nees to refill downstairs
- good value for money - not too far from sendai station.
Location, few minutes walk from Sendai station (west exit) and big shopping malls, in a small quiet street with a lane of fresh market and budget restaurants. Facilities are in good condition, generally. Clean, a certain thing for a hotel in Japan, I suppose.
The walls and door of my room was so thin that I could hear others guests' steps and voices at midnight. The bed looked comfortable and the single room seemed to be wider than other hotels's single rooms, but the noise or some not-so-good spirit or invisible force woke me several times a night. Actually, I've had the worst sleeping experience in Japan with this hotel. A stain on bathroom curtain looked like bloody stain. White neon bulb above the mirror brought cold feeling.
Location is quite near Sendai Station. About 8-min walk, or 5-min run (which I tried doing, to catch a train). Staff speaks reasonable amount of English. Bed is spacious (for single guest) and comfortable. Breakfast is buffet-style and quite a spread to choose from. Taste-wise, it was normal (I had better in other places in Japan).
Not easy to find hotel with Google Maps. I got lost trying to find it from Sendai Station, and an old Japanese man went to get a Japanese map with the help of the tourist info centre, and even so, it took me quite a while to find my way around due to the complexity of the area around Sendai Station. Amenities is a little too small for my liking. I barely have space on the desk/dressing table to put my own things with all the things on it. The bathroom is really tiny (I know Japanese bathrooms are usually quite small, but this is on the smaller side of "small", and I don't even have a big physique). Appliances provided in the room are quite old. No full-length mirror.
Good value for money. Friendly staff. Free laundry machines is a big plus.
Very clean hotel. Body wash smells like roses. Down pillow and duvet so you can get a comfortable night's rest. Massage prices are reasonable but I haven't tried the service. WiFi in the room.
If you don't have a cell phone or smart phone, the closest pay phone is in front of a convenience store about a block and a half away. Bathroom is tiny. No room to maneuver. Body wash and shampoo are on top of the toilet, not by the shower.
Location is very good. There is coffee available free in the lobby.
Very over-priced. No breakfast included in the almost ￥10.000 single room price. Tiny room with no full length mirror or wifi that worked. One bath towel was stained, looked not clean. No toothbrush or little extra touches.Room too hot on coldest air conditioning setting.Opened the window but the traffic was noisy and smell of car fumes bad. Sorry, never given a bad review before till now.
It was easy to locate and very quiet and clean. Breakfast was good.
The bed was quite a small and the bathroom was a capsule type but so small that it was difficult to access the shower. If you had any sort of difficulty with movement you couldn't manage.
Staff kind good position
Japanese breakfast for 800 ¥ (you can have a morning set outside for less) Staff cannot speak english (there was just one of them that could actually do it) small rooms and bathrooms no smoking allowed outside you room (there is no smoking point)
Great location, right in the centre of Sendai, five minutes walk from the station, for a very reasonable price. Washing machine and dryer are free to use.
I was staying on the 8th floor, and there was some noise in the night that sounded like huge washing machines operating. However, it wasn't strong enough to disturb my sleep.
Reasonable price Nice and friendly stuff Rooms has almost everything. Dryer and washing machines are very good and useful Not far away from station Many kombinies around Wi-fi is good too
Not very clean shower curtain Strange system of keeping keys at desk (maybe I just do not understand it properly)
Affordable location near the train station. Older facilities, but clean and a good value for the $
Older location and their onsen is difficult to get to
In the centre, close to the railway station. Laundry machine and espresso machine at lobby for free. Good connection to wi-fi, even in the front of the hotel. Good value for the money if You just need room to sleep and travel the area.
Small bathroom, it was not problem for me, but someone thicker will have problem with the tiny space.
the staff where great, location to a lot of things
There were no pay phone available, it was very important for me to make phone calls.
Facility for laundry, good wifi
not to far from the train station
Very close to all popular shops and just 2 minutes of walk from the train station. Just perfect location. Nice staff speaking reasonable English. Nothing to complain about.
