    Very nice staff, good English.

Next building is so close that in some rooms you can't really see the outside world through the window . However there are some rooms withe very nice view.

The staff is kind and helpful

i was expecting a ryokan not a kind of hostel, I don't recommend it for quality/price. You can find places a little bit more expensive(5 euro more) but more central and with services included. During the night i couldn't sleep, to much noise of guest taking showers next to my door.

Staff is great. Helpfull and knows a lot. Escpecially the Japanese lady. Location is good if you want to get out of the city (like me), close to a major train station. Maybe not the greatest if you only want to stay in the heart of tokyo.

Cleanliness; walls and railings of the staircase are just sticky. Rest is ok. Wi-Fi; very hard to stay connected. Number of showers and toilets is limited, especially for men. On my floor the toilet was ladies only (not the best idea imo), so left me with two toilets on the other floors for all other guests.

Location is great a couple of blocks away from the tube station especially convenient if you journey on to Haneda 15 mins ride door to door. The ward is a really nice area which recalls Ueno with a lot of great restaurants and a hot spring bath in the immediate vicinity. Tenants were adorable eager to communicate. We felt at home away from home. Room offered all convenience and was functional with mellow futons. the hotel is a good option for a short city break and is a great bang for the buck.

difficult to come across as Booking.com summary details are incorrect.

they provide free coffee in the morning, the staff is polite.

very limited toilets available (2 WC on each floor and one is always out of order and the other is locked for no reason, in the end, the only choice is the man's WC - same for each floor) only 1 bathroom with a hotel of a dozen of rooms.. lucky that I only waited 10 minutes outside the bathroom. (the other bathroom that they claimed to provide is full with a double bed and cleaning equipment / clothes)

The location is nice for travellers.only one station from Shinagawa station. The staff very friendly and helpful.Toilet is at every floor.

The check in time is quite late at 4.00 PM.We arrived at 1.00 pm and that time was snow storm so we really need a room.Unfortunately the staff said that check in time was at 4.00 PM.Luckily we managed to check in at 3.00 pm but with extra 500 yen.The room quite small compare to what we paid. There is no free tower. You have to rent it for 100 Yen.There is no kitchen only oven and thermos provided.

The staff was very helpful and spoke English well...the location is perfect for any trips around the Tokyo area, as all the subway lines are available

A tad small by Western standards--but I understood that when booking the room--it was part of the adventure--but some business hotels have bigger spaces for the same price....but they also lack charm

I almost wish I had to stay longer. The stay was very pleasant. The staff was very helpful and spoke perfect english. This isn't a requirement for me, but it was very helpful as this was my first night in Tokyo. It's a nice 5 minute walk from the huge Shinagawa station. It's a great value. It definitely has a more hostel feel, so don't expect a 5 star hotel. Everyone makes you feel welcome and feel free to make friends with the other guests. It's that kind of place.

This is an ideal choice for a young budget traveller who needs basic accommodation in order to be able to visit Tokyo. The small common room next to the reception that offers coffee for example for breakfast was appreciated. You have to be prepared to be considerate to others in order to maximize enjoyment of your stay. Staff will answer any questions you might have by email before you arrive. Single accommodation was a three tatamı room.

Directions to the hotel from Shinagawa station are clear, but you may still need to take care - look for the convenience store, and then you will see the guest house sign.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff

My husband got a lot of bug bites, we're not sure if they came from the hostel or not because I didn't get any. The futons weren't too comfortable and the room was very small.

Guesthouse very well located, near Shinagawa Station, the most important of Tokyo. The rooms are small, however if you are not looking for luxury, this is an excellent place and with a cost very accessible considering the surround area. The bathroom is of common use, but works perfectly, it is very large and the shower excellent.
