Staying here when on a budget is great so close to every thing and easy to get to shinjuku would recommend!
Clean rooms, well equipped. luggage storage. Location not too bad. Quite area. Friendly staff.
The mattresses are too thin. I got a sore back from sleeping. Also the reception is not always manned. Expensive as everywhere in Tokyo.
One stop away from Shinjuku and could use JR pass to get there.
1. helpful staff 2. good location.
1. cleanliness of the mattress. 2. thickness and soft mattress 3. toilet and bathroom area very small.
Loved the simplicity of the place. Traditional and lovely!
I don't mind the sleeping mats... But one of my friends did... But he is a very bad sleeper anyway!
The location was great, on one of the JR lines so if you have a JR pass its free to travel on this line in Tokyo. Restaurants are also open around the area and its also close to Shibuya. Handy having the kitchenette, and towels being changed daily.
No where to hang towels - the bathroom, in room was very poky. The bed mats were also the thinnest that we had throughout Japan. We were a group of five, two adults and teens - it would have been priced the same for two rooms rather than being squashed into one - our fault, not the hotels.
staff friendly, helpful
toilet so small
It is located near the train station and eateries. The staff was also friendly and helpful. It is a good idea to require guests to lock their shoes in the locker at the lobby too.
The toilet was very small.
location,, near to shin-okubo station, near to restaurants..
bathroom too small
The hotel was close to the station.
First of all, the staff were unprofessional and they were even dressed casually. We couldn't tell between a hotel customer or a staff member. Next, the facilities were awful. The shower curtain was broken, but it wasn't fixed. The room was overall dirty and it reeked. Comfort-wise, we spent two sore nights on a thin futon and a rough tatami. We requested a mat because my mother had back and shoulder aches, but we never got one. The sheets and futon looked and smelled like they hadn't been washed. Lastly, the walls were so thin, we could hear other rooms and it was noisy. Not to mention, at night, a group of rowdy drunks would scream and laugh and disturb our sleep. It was horrible.
The location of hotel was just nearby okubo station ... walk out to the street there were so many restaurant .. as well as 24hrs shop .. don't need to worry there's nothing to eat in midnight
The cleanliness of the room kinda poor as the rubbish in the dustbinstill there
near by railway station, nice clean room with a kitchinette, other Tokyo´s destinations well reachable.
Located very near to the train station (JR Linr) and also many convenient store. Excellent staff as well!
Good location ...
Close to the station, near small shops and convenience stores
Hard to find at first, even by taxi. Expensive but reasonable considering it's in tokyo
It is located near the train station and many 24 hours outlets for late supper.
Korean area in Shin Okubo - Tokyo. Near Shinjuku, 15min by walk.
Room for 3 pers. was relatively small
Wifi in great in the building Cleanliness Closeness to the train station Basic place for you to drop your stuff and sleep. TV and air con Room came with toiletries and fresh towels every day
Directions aren't clear enough when you arrive in the area.
near to yamanote rail station
toilet too small and the on off switch of toilet and kitchen should be seperate
the staff is kind and very helpful. the position is good to start the visit of Tokyo. Shinjuku subway station is 5mins walking distance. The area is well served by restaurant and shops. the room for 3 persons has enough space.
credit card not accepted. the bathroom is very small and the bath tube create problem during the water discard.
Guy at reception was very helpful., also spoke English. Location was very good, close to railway station, restaurants and shops. I would recommend this hotel. Room was clean, kitchen and bathroom, were good, WIFI had good recpetion
Near station and easy
Tiny little pieces from Tatami floor keep coming out and stick on cloth.
Nothing at all. Could not stay more than one night.
Realized that the room was below first floor when we looked at the window. The room was not cleaned up. We were waiting in the room when cleaning lady openned door with her own key and cleaned the room. Changed the taste of whole travel.
Good for long stay and comford
Should clean up room better
