Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu  

Great hotel if you are transiting at Haneda airport and need to spend the night.

Very close to the airport (but no noise in the room)

Far from the center (but it doesn't matter for a transfer flight) no breakfast included

surprisingly comfortable. close proximity to good restaurants, convenient for my travel plans.

Location, Location, Location

As I arrived late in the night it was in a very good location above the airport terminal building, the staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. As it was right at the airport it was also exceptionally quiet.

It was a little more than I would have paid for a hotel of that standard but I guess the location was why.

Proximity to airport. Good for traveller who is catching early morning flight.

It is just average airport hotel.

Good staff and in terminal 2 so good for early morning flights with not much transport options from city centre to airport for first flights. They also have a free shuttle bus around terminals for those flights.

Convenient location for business trip. The hotel is really closed by International departure and Haneda hotl is able to provide you a direct shuttle connection at International gate.

Perfect service and confortable rooms.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, great service. Room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Soundproofing of the walls and doors seemed very good.

The only thing they could improve is to open another one at the international terminal - the free shuttle bus between domestic and international was alright, but wasn't so easy with several heavy bags and a baby. Would be more convenient if one was just right there at the international terminal. :)

excellent location / early free shuttle to international terminal / subway and monorail to tokyo right in the middle of term 1 and 2 (easy access) to tour tokyo via subway or monorail

need A late snack bar with fast foods (quick bite to eat)

Our flight was 6:25 next morning. So we decided to stay here. The shuttle bus 3:50 was very convenient and we enjoyed the night before the flight. Thank you.

Not specially.

This is an oasis of peace and quiet; a real jet-lag fighter. The staff is eager, competent, and helpful. I had many requests, and they were all handled with cheer and care. The food is good and the breakfast buffet is unusual, with boil-your-own vegetables and a salad bar with six kinds of lettuces, in addition to the usual items. There are no frills at Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu, but everything is perfect.

The best thing, to be right at the airport for an early flight.

The price was a bit expensive.

Excellent check-in service where they accommodated us with hypoallergenic bedding. The room was spacious for a Japanese hotel (my room while my mother had her own deluxe room). The hotel is conveniently located at the end of the terminal and there are many excellent restaurants and stores. When one arrives at Haneda airport, you stay within the terminal to access the Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu. It was quiet and sound-proof so that we didn't hear planes or next-door neighbors.

The hotel is modern, clean and professionally run. The staff speak good english and they offer shuttle bus to international terminal at 4.30am for very early flight. The location is ideal for people travelling to and from Haneda airport. The room is spacious by tokyo standard.

The breakfast is expensive at 2100 Yen. Most shops at airport close at 8.30pm. You can find instant food at the convenience store near train station.

Hotel staff are a bit distant, but some of them are friendly.

The one and only reason I chose to stay at this hotel was the location. We had a 12 hr layover. I asked many days prior to departure if they had a day rate and the answer was no. No, as in none available. When I got to the hotel they said the rate was just sold out. We basically paid usd60 + per hour to stay here for 4 hours! It was necessary though as we were so jet lagged. Another note: no one at the hotel spoke English. Comminucation was tough. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, modern and provided everything you needed for a short stay.

It's very easy... if you have a domestic flight tomorrow,and don't want to be hurry in the morning. The hotel is just in the domestic terminal 2, and they have a free shuttle bus for international terminal too.

Perfect location for an early departure from Haneda airport

It's a very effective solution if you have a very ealry flight in the morning from Haneda, cause public transportation is closed from 12 am to 5 am. The rooms are big and clean, staff can speak fair English and there is a free shuttle service twice a day (3:50 am and 4:20 am) to the international airport which cannot be reached on foot from the hotel. the view on the airport runway and on the city skyline is very nice. Room is very quite and perfectly isolated from external noise coming from the airport...not so noise-proof if other guests are chatting in front of your room door.

It's a bit too expensive even if it's a 4 star hotel, also considering it's a good location only if you are departing from Haneda. Definitely not a place to stay if you plan some days in Tokyo for visiting the city.

Still a 10 minute bus ride to the international terminal

La position de l'hôtel au bout du terminal, quand on arrive tard, et qu'on doit reprendre un avion le lendemain matin, c'est idéal. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Bien sur toute la ligne
