Loved our stay at Hilton Fukuoka. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room had a great view and was well appointed.Executive facilities and benefits well worth the extra costs.Would definitely stay there again when in Fukuoka.
The room is big.
good price and hotel service.
But hotel is located in seaside. it means that hotel is far from the downtown(hot place).
The view from the room was nice and the bed was large and comfortable, but other than that, the hotel is more like a 3* hotel, and in some respects even worse: we waited 35 minutes in line just to check in!!!
A 35 minute waitto check in, in line, like in an airport, is inadmissible (or at least, they should have found a way to apologize, like offer a drink or whatever). It's the only hotel (out of more than 30-40 where I stayed in my trips to Japan) that charges you for wi-fi. The bathroom was small, and oldish, the toilet facilities didn't function well. The hotel is very very far from the center, and doesn't provide any shuttle facilities. It was a huge disappointment!
Old poor room
Beautiful hotel, very nice staff everywhere. Had a Japanese style room deluxe, service excellent, view absolutely spectacular,. Food was glorious ie the buffet dinner the main restaurant served. They were very good about storing our luggage even before we checked in.
Nearest subway was 15 or 20 mins walk although city bus stop was within the hotel grounds.
Hotel staff provide us a good service
Some facility too old
Had to pay extra for wifi
good facilities and views
1. I was surprised that I opened a refregerators in the room. Normally almost hotels serve 2 bottle of water for complimentary. But it wasn't. 2. Every meal in the morning was same as yesterday and the day before yesterday. It made us unhappy during meal.
Far from the city center. Hardly any shops or restaurants in the neighbourhood. Hotel offers several restaurants but most are quite expensive.
1) very friendly staff waiting at the entrance 2) beautiful scenery of the sea and beach 3) Good 24 hours shop (family mart). 4) good room layout and facilities 5) good safety with the additional emergency exit at the window
1) no free wifi internet in the rooms. At least provide cable for internet connection inside the rooms (most hotels provide this for free) 2) need to pay for simple facility like to use the swimming pool (free in most hotels)
Since the (cheap) room I had originally booked was not actually available I was moved to a luxurious executive suite, without having to pay for the upgrade - so I cannot say much about price/value. The suite and the entire building were impeccably clean, modern (western design) my room offered a great view over Fukuoka. The staff spoke good English and was very polite - the bell boy assisting me with my luggage even struck up a bit of small talk in a charming way. The hotel is directly next to a baseball stadium, so bus connections are plenty (although city centre and sea promenade are in walking distance). The hotel is connected to a small shopping mall, which has a convenience store - which is, well, you guessed it, convenient.
I wanted to change money (a service the hotel reception offers), just after I had checked out with the neighbour receptionist. I was told that was only possible for guests - and as I had just checked out, I was not a guest anymore. That's not exactly good service. You have to queue for the reception - and if there is a baseball game, that can mean waiting for a few minutes - I find that strange for a Hilton hotel.
Staffs are very nice and polite. Convenient store is just nearby. There are buses available at the hotel
Wifi service are limited only at the lobby. It would be nice if wifi also available for the conference room
The room has unpleasant smell . Maybe it is "smoking smell".
Very friendly staff, good food at the hotel.
The hotel is outside town and need taxi to get down town
Too far away from downtown
The view Very comfortable bed clean room
Need more outlets for computer Too far from airport
Breakfast is great Room size is decent
Room needs to be renovated, old carpet, does not live up to the Hilton name. Additional cost to swimming pool.
Absolutely clean, kind and nice view.
It is not easy to communicate with staff at Hotel in English. Additional breakfast is poor.
Good views. Nice big and clean rooms. Stayed on the executive floor. Access to the lounge which had breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktail hour. Value for money to stay on executive level. Free access to gym and pools as well.
Slightly out of town. Most shopping is at TenJin and Hakata area. However there is a bus stop directly at the 1st floor of the hotel that goes to these 2 areas. Affordable transport. Avoid taking taxis. Unless going to airport. Would cost about 4000yen. Less than 20min to airport using the expressway.
The room, staff, service and food were excellent; I could not fault the hotel. It's not uncommon to pay ¥5000-6000 per person for a hotel in Japan so I'm glad I paid a little extra to stay here.
¥1500 parking charge for guests but it was valid until midnight the day we checked out so we could explore the area before we left.
Concierge service particularly KIM san is so helpful.
Morning breakfast service, Yoshixxxxxx (forget his full name in spelling), very rude, very unprofessional. If he is the only staff in Hilton, I will leave immediately.
Amazing hotel in an amazing city. Staff are very friendly and most speak good English.
Is a bit far from the city centre unless you can afford taxi/busses.
nice place and convenience
