The front desk staff was extremely helpful. Our room was clean and as asked. The courtesy bus service is infrequent and one may have to wait more than an hour for the bus. The Keisei line stops in Narita City and train stop is very close to the hotel.

It was comfortable for my two teenage children and me to spend the night in transit, after arriving to Narita Airport in the evening. There is only one shuttle bus per hour. Why don't the hotels in the area work together, to pick up passengers who are going to the same general vicinity more often?

Proximity to Narita town and Kaisei Narita station. This is a tired and worn out property in desperate need of a refresh/renovation. Only reason I stayed was to see a friend living in Narita for dinner the night before I flew out. In all other cases I would have stayed in Tokyo. The airport hotels at Narita are very poor value for money imho.

Free shuttlebus to the airport. Someting is seriously wrong with the building (annex). It is mouldy. My clothes got a mouldy smell and perhaps is this dangerous for the health too.

I can only say the budget was the only answer I could give, yes it was clean but everything, including breakfast needed up grading. I only stopped there two night as I did phone you up about, but had to pay for three night as was my original booking, this I am not very happy about, and hope you can correct. Allan cooke It was clean, and thats about it, it was not near a shopping mall ,right in the back streets and a need for improvement.

This is not a luxury hotel, a fact reflected by the price. However, it is clean, comfortable, quiet, and the location is superb. Take a right from the front door, and a three minutes walk will get you to the bustling shopping district of Narita. Walk down the hill for another ten minutes through the market, and you will be at the gate of the amazing Narita San Temple. A small convenience store (the Japanese version of a 7-11) is just across the street from the Mercure, and you will find pretty much everything you need therein. The airport shuttle is infrequent (approximately every hour) but comfortable and dependable. The rooms are small and well equipped, including the ubiquitous Japanese toilet seat warmer and an in-toilet bidet – give it a try! There is no WiFi, but a computer connection is available in the room. Be sure to bring your Ethernet cable if you consider using your computer.

The hotel offered a single room at a reasonable price, plus a shuttle bus to the airport the following morning. The room was clean and comfortable. I had an early flight and didn't fancy the long trek out from Tokyo early in the morning. The shuttle does take longer than the advertised 15 mins though - it took 45 mins to get to Terminal 1 from the hotel so keep that in mind! Also only 1 teabag provided seemed a little mean!

The location was good as the hotel is very near Narita Station. The Narita Express train takes you to Tokyo and elsewhere. There are several restaurants very near the hotel and convenience stores. There is a shopping mall only 10 minutes away by bus. There is (paying) internet available in the lobby. The hotel is comfortable and clean. We used the hotel on two occasions on this trip (5 nights in all) and both times had rooms with serious noise from the trains nearby. We had to keep our window closed at night because of the noise.

The location is the selling point, so close to Narita station, and in the vicinity of local shops. The free shuttle service to the airport is very handy too.

The location was very good, 20 minutes from the airport with quite a few restaurants in the neighborhood, so we didn't depend on the hotel restaurants, as would have been the case with many airport hotels which are located near the high way. The room was quite warm, but apparently air conditioning was regulated centrally (or we must have overlooked something). The schedule of the shuttle bus, the bus didn't go so often (E.G. first one at 07.00, second one at 08.30)

Good location 1 minute walk from the two stations in Narita town - about 20 mins by the shuttle bus from the airport terminal. For Mercure prices the bathrooms are small - I think this is a renovated old Japanese business hotel, with the Mercure stylish lobby downstairs - so it's a surprise to find the tiny Japanese business hotel baths.

The free shuttle service to Narita Airport and very close proximity to the two rail stations serving the town were both "big plusses" for the Mercure . The hotel itself is a fairly standard business class hotel and provided guests with all the expected services. The Reception staff were very helpful and a credit to the Mercure, nothing was too much trouble for them and most of them were able to communicate in English which was helpful to me as I am a non-Japanese speaker. Internet access charged at Y100 per half hour at a single PC situated in the Sports bar near Reception . There needs to be better(and cheaper) online access , I would say on every floor ? Also , our room was in an annexe and was only accessible via two separate lifts and a walk down a corridor. Not a big factor, but I can see how this would be seen as quite inconvenient to someone who might be disabled , Also the room was faitly clean but had marks on the carpet. These are, however, minor issues and I think the hotel is very well run, overall.
