Relatively quiet neighborhood, and if you want to go where the action is (shopping, attractions etc) they are all just a few metro stops away (Tokyo subway system is awesome). Of course staff are friendly and helpful (well all Japanese people I dealt with are awesome); there are a lot of restaurants/bars in the area. Also, close to Tokyo station (from which you can go to Narita airport by express train for example, or to other cities). Finally the river is just two blocks away, nice for walking/jogging.
Checkout time is too early (10 a.m.)
Staff could be more involved
Good location (within walking distance of Tokyo station and Imperial Palace)
Room stank of smoke
