The hotel staff were all very friendly and they paid a lot of attention to our special needs. It was a very pleasant stay.
Awesome romantic getaway
We knew this is a love hotel and wanted to experience it. The size of the room is huge, not only for Japanese standard. The steam room is really a pleasant surprise.
The location is a bit far off from the central, and need a bit of walk to the nearest train station.
Everything. The bed, the jacuzzi, the toiletries and beauty kit (mask, moisturizer, lotion etc), breakfast served to your room, privacy. The whole room and its staff. Its an experience to be pampered and observe the daily activity of a love hotel. They are discreet and non-judgemental.
Just that the location isnt near to the kyoto hotspot attractions but if you cab, its only around SGD$10-30 to go to the attractions like the market and shrines. Its about 10-15 mins walk to the hotel (Use gps) most locals don't know how to guide you and 5 mins by taxi from the train station. .
Big room and a large bed. The bathroom was spacious and jacuzzi is a great fun
It might have been a smoke room but the entire floor smell like smoke.
Meals and drinks all free for the room package we got. Very friendly and helpful staff. 24 hour room service. Huge room by Japanese standards, but then again, this property is a love hotel in the suburbs and not a city hotel!
Smoky smelling room - since we could only get a smoking room for our stay. A bit of a trek from Kyoto city centre since it is at the end of the Karasuma line and the subway station is a good 10-15 minute walk away
space, room, cleanliness
it didn't state that it's a love hotel!!
The room was big, compared to other places we stayed in Japan
When we booked we did not have a clue that this was a 'love hotel'. And we also did not know, how a love hotel exactly is run! But it was a fantastic place to stay for 3 nights: extremely spacious rooms (we had lots of luggage with us), great bathroom, separate toilet and top marks for cleanliness!! We loved the breakfast delivery in the morning: when you booked breakfast for 8 am, you are suddenly surrounded by lovely music, the huge TV screen comes on, showing beautiful pics of Kyoto, and you have to open a flap for your breakfast delivery! That was a new breakfast experience! ;-)
Quick and easy to get to central Kyoto, walking distance to Fushimi Inarai temple. Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel not as adult-only as it appeared on booking.com – helpful tourist info available on reception desk, including free-to-borrow guide books. Free car parking. Very quiet. Not a destination or traditional hotel but absolutely fine for a holiday trip.
No restaurant – but that fits with the adult-only theme of some guests not wanting to leave their room!
When booking this hotel, please take into consideration that this is rather a motel than a hotel. If you travel by car then it's fine as the motorway junction is next to the hotel but if you travel by train/subway, the hotel is located quite a bit (10-15 mins walk) away from subway station and there is no reasonable public transportation connection with the subway terminal.
- The surroundings are good - The bathroom is amazing
- Not enough English speaking staff - Not enough English directions
The hotel provided good service. The staff were very helpful although it would be nice if one or two of the staff could speak more english. The food was served on time and in the room. It was also a pleasant surprise that food was free even if we ordered late at night.
What I didnt like is that it was a bit of a walk from the station. If you're arriving from the airport with luggage, better to take taxi as it's around 3kms walk. There were some unpleasant sound coming from the room above us, seems like they were moving furniture even late at night. Didn't bother to call the receptionist to check but the management should do something about it.
The Room Standard The Room Service The helpful staff!
Gigantic room Fully equiped Amazing value for money Very cheap breakfast (not amazing but so convenient) Friendly and helpful staff (with their low english level)
Location but it s ok (15mn walk + 10mn bus), not so much to do around. Great to spend the night, not the evening.
Price/Quality ratio. Jacuzzi. Massage armchair.
Cleanliness. Breakfast (not bad for the price). Distance to the centre.
I like the facilities n cleanness. The bathtub, massage chair, big bed.
It's far away from subway. Walk for more than 15 mins. Very tired to walk back to the hotel after a whole day trip.
Best hotel ever!
- big room - big bed - big bathroom - big bathtube - early check-in, late check-out - love hotel experience
- far from the closest station (15 minutes walk) - nothing around the hotel (shop, supermarket, restaurant, bar, sightseeing spot)
Super luxury in the hotel and the room with the small value of money. I never stay in like this luxury very the value of money. Jacuzzi in in the bathroom as well and all provided.
Large room with the largest amount of electronics and gadgets in the room ever. Clean. Friendly personel.
Not really a location with anything close. Metro station on walking distance though.
Good price, big and comfortable bed.
Far away from everything, the room smelled of smoke, it was not 100% clean.
The rooms are huge and offer plenty of entertainment. 24-hour room service is convenient.
THIS IS A LOVE HOTEL (WHICH WAS NOT CLEARLY ADVERTISED) The area (minami-ku) although only a 10 minute train ride from Kyoto Station is awfully ugly, depressingly so. Ringing the doorbell on the room turns on the lights AND THE TV! Waking up to a porn movie with blaring volume was not nice by any means. The complimentary vibrator that greets you on the nightstand is disturbing.
This is the most complete room I have ever stayed. PS2, karaoke (although we didn't use it), movie etc. my girlfriend loved the bathroom and those facial and hair product so much, they are all free!
