Opened in December 2013 and situated right in the heart of the lively Kabuki-cho area in Shinjuku, the Granbell Hotel has modern and stylish guest rooms with unique design concepts.
Score from 1354 reviews Very good
Opened in August 2014, this hotel is in a great location just a 3-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station, offering direct services to Harajuku, Shibuya and Akihabara areas, all within a 20-minute train...
Score from 290 reviews Wonderful
Regular free bus to Shinjuku West exit, every 20mins. All round good service.
Free shuttle bus
Polite, helpful staff who all spoke English. Knew the area well and gave excellent recommendations.
No free wifi- every other hotel I have stayed at in Japan ( including rural areas) offers this.
Great service and good price. The staff was very accommodating. Good location with a lot of activity in the area. The transportation is very convenient, as well.
Paying for Wi-fi? Really?
luxury staf kindness pratically everything
for such an expensive and luxurious hotel i had to pay internet because it wasn't included in my book.. 320 yen at day for every device connected....
Free shuttle to Shinjuku west station
The citrus fragrant of the toiletries
Lovely hotel that stands up to the star rating with wonderful staff from front desk to housekeepers; comfy beds, lovely restaurants, excellent location near the Shinjuku Station and government buildings, great assistance by concierge.
We had a wonderful experience and have nothing negative to say.
Breakfast is a good deal for the price, service is as can be expected with a premier hotel. We encountered good service at point of arrival, departure and on the shuttle bus where the driver and doorman were very helpful in packing our many suitcases.
Additional fees for usage of the gym. Usage should be included with the hotel fees. Availability of shuttle bus and directions to traveling to the hotel could be made more transparent.
The international character of the hotel.
The cafe closes at 2pm and other sitting areas are very public where you can't hold private conversations.
Got free shuttle bus to Shinjuku West .... Room are spacious....staff are nice and helpful！7-11 just downstair of the hotel... Really convenient！
Its close to the subway.
Wi-fi too expensive.
Location, facilities, free shuttle bus to station, Mount Fuji view from our bedroom
No free wifi, if you have to log on I suggest going to the Hilton 2 mins walk away for the free wifi
Central to everything through Shinjuku station.
Restaurants in the hotel very expensive You have to pay for the WIFI - 300 yens for 24h
We were told we had been upgraded to a better room which was right under the function centre. Not much sleep as the sound of feet and dragging tables and chairs across the floor all night. I didn't think it was value for money as $300 per night no free wi-fi and $30 to use the pool was over the top.
Excellent shuttle bus service to main train station (Shinjuku). Rooms are very clean. All staff had good English communication skills. We had a young child (18 months) and they were really accommodating to our needs.
Rooms were on the smaller side, especially with a child. Although it was comfortable.
Good location, good hotel, good location
Strick check in time, although you can check in baggage the lobby is a very boring place to wait for your room
Rooms are old and tied. Not much of a decor. Simple. Two beds and pretty much nothing else. Rooms smelled stale. For slightly more than half the price, you could stay at Hilton just across the street and it's room feels & looks ten times better
good facilities, nice staff and very clean
A little bit far to the attraction and shopping area
Good location, cleanliness hotel and good service mind staff
Good service mind staff, very convenient location
Nice staff, cleanliness, very good location
Newly renovated room with excellent cleaness, Easy access to the main area of the city yet quiet stay with very good soundproof system in each room and nearby Shinjuku Central Park
More frequent shuttle bus service - prefereably from every 20 min. to every 10 min.
This is my 2nd time here at this hotel. The room size is large enough for family with kids, The room is cleaned and the most I like this hotel is the staff at Guest Service are very helpful with great English Speaker. They know all the places I want to visit and have a very good recommendation for the routing by train and bus. I'm surely will stay here again. Also this hotel has an airport bus transfer service which is very convenient for our family.
The location is a little bit far from all convenient traffic around Shinjuku area, it's a bit far for walking distance. However, the hotel provide a free shuttle bus to Shinjuku station this is also very helpful.
Service & location !
Bus schedule stop running after 21:40 -21:50 ! That's too early !
