Everything was perfect. Good atmosphere and super location to city transport. ;-)
Nice tidy rooms, other travellers were friendly and the overall accommodations were very good and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
A little far from the station when lugging a lot of baggage
The hostel was VERY clean. The staff cleaned thoroughly every day after the guests went out.
The rooms look a bit run down, but everything is really clean. The shower on the first floor closes after 11 PM.
Staff were very polite and helpful. The facilities were amazing and the hotel is situated next to a supermarket where you can buy groceries etc and the subway train station is within a walking distance.
It's clean, and couple of convenient stores around.
The location is further than expected, however, the hotel is not difficult to find.
They had wi-fi and all the facilities you need. They also helped me send my luggage from Tokyo to Kyoto.
A nice bar with yakitori around the corner and cheap beer at the reception. Also, they gave us an umbrella when it was raining.
The hotel desperately calls for refurbishing and some cleaning, especially in the rooms. There are shared bathrooms, but only on three floors (out of ten!) and there are two showers per floor. There are similarly awful hotels in the district, but for half the price. Staff barely speaks English and takes a 1-hour lunch break in the middle of the day (!). No wonder the hotel was half-empty. There is almost nothing in the neighborhood and the subway station is 10 minutes walk away. It was also the only place that charged us for the plug adapter.
everything is good
-The staff is very kind -The hotel is very clean -There's AC and a small fridge in each room -There's a spa on the top floor, as well as laundry services -Rooms are rather small but comfortable -The locations is quiet and safe, there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel that goes to Ueno station.
The location is rather far from Tokyo's main sightseeing districts. The closest district is Asakusa. Bus 42 gets you there quickly. Otherwise, it's best to take the metro from Minami-Senju station to the other districts which can take from 30 minutes to well over 45 minutes.
They let me store my luggage while I take a side trip to Hakone as well as Hokkaido saving me more than 5000 yen on station coin lockers and carrying around 4 bags on crowded trains.
very clean, relaxed atmosphere, kind staff, private.
Perfect for solo travelers, is cheap and has all facilities such as Wi-Fi, showers, 3 computers anyone can use in the lobby.
Good price Clean room Honest description
I like the fact the people at the desk are very nice and very helpful. Also, the hostel was very clean, and close to the station. I will book it again when next I'm visiting Kyoto
I loved that the hostel was in traditional Japanese style, made the stay feel more authentic. Hygiene seemed to be top priority; with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities cleanliness is a must and they delivered!
The walk from the hostel to the nearest metro could be shorter but the distance did give me a chance to get to know the neighborhood more than I would if I just left the hostel and jumped directly onto the metro.
The staff very helpfull, location about 15 minutes walk from Minami Senju st. There's also a bus stop in front of the hotel. close to mini market. no curfew.
shower room not available in every floor.the hotel located in a quiet environment, a bit tricky for solo traveler who return after midnight.
look like community, and little bit far away of downtown
The receptionist provided quality service and speak English very well. I do enjoy living there. The price is pretty lower that the other accommodations. I think it is a good place for the people who is travelling alone.
Well, cause it is the first time I come to Tokyo. It is hard to find the place in the evening. Additionally, when I have reserved this hotel, I only can got the English name instead of Japanese name. So when I am trying to ask the way from Japanese, they can not understand.
the staff are very helpfull.
the location a bit far from a the main city
Staff and cheap
Location far from center. 15 min to sub needed.
Personal rooms with good value. Comfortable sharing bathrooms and toilets.
receptionists are not so kind in some cases and rude.
Clean and nice shared bathroom
Some receptionists are very rude.
Cheap and personal room. Clean and nice shared bathrooms.
10 minutes walk to JR station. Even my suitcase(i asked for late checked-out) in the room housekeeper throw out my breakfast (vacuumed cheese packed olive)which is in the fridge. When i asked to reception nobody can find why and who throw my personal thinks.
Value for money! Just 15 min walk to station or busy district of Asakusa. Very clean and quiet. Would always come back.
great price staff speak English always happy to help great wifi thanks again
