Chitose was just a stopover for us to get from Niseko back to our country. The airport has more than enough entertainment to occupy us. It gave us a chance to do some last minute souvenir shopping and also buy bento boxes to eat on the plane.

The only reason we stayed in Chitose was to take the bus up to Lake Shikotsuko. We didn't do any hiking, so a half day was plenty for this part. There aren't many dining options in Chitose if you are on foot (we traveled by train), and very little in the way of other attractions in town. It seems to be mainly a convenient place to stay after you fly in from the nearby airport.

It is inconvenient to check in, the heating is not warm enough, it is difficult for us to fall asleep at night. There is no restaurant nearby, and the transportation is inconvenient. I will not make a reservation next time.

We had to travel to Chitose as we needed to fly out from New Chitose Airport. Nonetheless, we decided to stay here for 2 days to visit Lake Shikotsu & the airport for it offers many attractions. We really enjoyed the lake (very scenic!) and the airport - Royce Choc Factory, Doraemon Waku Waku Skypark etc. We got around Chitose in a rental car and the free shuttle the hotel provided. There were also plenty of souvenirs available at the airport for some last minute shopping.

Very close to airport, as well as several ski stations. it is cheaper than Sapporo city, and even if it does not have as many restaurants and places to visit as a big city may have, there are plenty of restaurants, parks and duty free malls and is very quiet place.

I spent only a few hours as the place is convenient to reach the airport. There is not much to do but it is ok if you need to stay there only one night. You can find a shopping mall (quite big) near the station, there are many places where you can eat and a huge supermarket where you can find everything you need.
Queen’s Hotel is conveniently located 5 min walk from Chitose train station, 2 stops from the airport. We arrived late and left early the next day but it was no problem for check in and check out. We really appreciated the onsen. There is a free shuttle to the airport (not the other way around) at 6.25, 7.05, 7.45, 8.25 and 9.05. You have to book the day before at the reception. We booked the 7.05 and went down for check out at 7.00, our driver was already waiting for us and took us to the airport in 10 min.
Location is great. We booked for overnight for our next day flight from Chitose and it was really a pleasant experience.
Breakfast is excellent because of the variety of food to choose from. Going to the airport is just a few minutes away or just 2 stops away. There is a mall/ grocery near the hotel so if you need something or last minute shopping, you don't have to worry and also there's a lot of restaurants nearby.
It sounds crazy but the lighting in the property is amazing, as is the on-site onsen! It’s dark and super relaxing as well as pretty empty so it’s the quietest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. For multi day trips in Hokkaido, I really recommend staying here the night before you depart, it’s in the airport so super convenient and absolutely relaxing.
Had to book after flights were cancelled. We were really happy to have this place to sleep before heading back to New Chitose Airport. Recommend it as an alternative to returning to Sapporo if in a pinch. A bit of a walk from Minami-Chitose train station but we didn't mind walking through snow. Taxi's are also possible.
It was just a sleepover before an early flight but wow, for the cost we paid, the value is exceptional. Very clean and modern and the train at the doorstep, two stops from the airport. We also took the train to Sapporo to have a look around there.
it's located very near restaurants so finding foods was easy and quick!! airport shuttle is super nice and easy to use. staffs are very kind and nice. for this price, it's a great pick for the stay b4 heading to airport~
The location is perfect, 30seconds to JR station. Room is super comfy too! Everything is so tidy, public bath in 2nd floor is awesome. And the breakfast YAYOI is great too! Overall is a perfect hotel for trip in Chitose.
The room was clean and tidy. Location is relatively close to the New Chitose Airport, as well as to the JR Station. Nearby convenient store and restaurants are also pretty good.
