Score from 156 reviews Very good
Breakfast buffet in the garden café. Good selection and good food. Sports bar-good drinks and good food Live Jazz show in the hotel Location was close to train (attached) there was also an assortment of convenience shops (Family Mart, McDonalds, Tully's coffee) all right next to hotel. The rooms were spacious by Japan standards Excellent views Wonderful amenities in the club rooms! Staff was very helpful even with the language barrier we were able to communicate our desires Quiet, clean and comfortable Staff was able to accommodate our desire to have two non smoking rooms close together. Smooth check in/out process Services available: photography, wedding, spa/onsen, in room massages. We didn't use any of these this time but will definitely next time! Free wifi We would definitely stay again, even with the location being slightly out of the way.
Universal studios shuttle doesn't operate Mon-Fri, only on weekends. This is not mentioned on their website. If you choose to drive it is approx. 20 mins to universal studios or 15 mins to Kobe Harborland area. With tolls going back and forth. Parking. Although its free, you have to submit your parking stub from the machine to the front desk prior to leaving. Otherwise, you have to pay for the parking (very expensive). Its not convenient if you plan to go in and out multiple times in a day. Not a good location for night life. (However we did find a nice small bar with pool tables about a block down!) Very quiet after dark. Cost.. breakfast is too expensive- book a club room with breakfast included Top floor restaurant- although the Kobe steak was amazing the entire meal was very overpriced and included a lot of things we particularly wouldn't eat. We expected a full size steak but received small cut up pieces instead..too delicious to have such small amounts! Excellent staff though. Bed is not very plush, a little harder than we like. (However this is typical of most hotels in Japan and did not disrupt our sleep)
quiet place, convenient as the train station stops directly in front of the hotel
View Size of room Beds Couch Bathroom (esp. shower)
Very few restaurants on the island
The new "hot springs" was great. Got upgraded to concierge level.
When tour group from China was there, waiting in long line for breakfast was annoying. Wasn'r able to get a la carte breakfast.
The trein location just next to the hotel, you do not have to go outside, its like a terminal. A lot of aminities in the bathroom. To go to namba, the main district in osaka which is amazing and a great experience, it takes you 1 or 1,5 hours. Take the train from the hotel to sumiyoshi. From Here take the rapid or local train to osaka. From osaka take the loop line direction Tennoji and take the first stop ( Imamiya) switch to the namba line to go to namba. These are all JR. Lines so you can travel with your JR. Pass, except for the rokkoliner trein at the hotel. It cost you ¥250 each one way.
Housekeeping, a lot of dust in the room, just behind the table in the middle of the beds. Check in/ check out was messy, to many people around. Nothing to do in the area, only 1 bad restaurant. Restaurants in door are overpriced.
Nice rooms, good gym and the extras available at the club level were great
Rokko island is very quiet with many shops and restaurants closed down. The hotel also has limited dining esp Monday-Wednesday with some if their restaurants not open those days.
Hot spring including Golden and Silver Onsen has been grand open since Apr，it looks very good but i missed the time to enjoy it. What a big pity of my stay! The hotel is connected by sky bridge with metro station, which is quite good for traveller although we drove to the hotel this time.
Comfortable, clean, calm, silence, big room, bathroom, profesional service, business trip hotel.
far from city centres, need to take a train to go both centres. Not for city visiting.
Too far from any of major touristic attractions.
Very nice hotel with a large spacious room, TV, huge bed a great view of outside. The staff are very friendly and helpful when needed.
The attached gym, which I saw no price for when booking the hotel, is not free to guests, it's over 1000yen to use and that doesn't include the swimming pool, which is another 2000yen.
The hotel locates in the island and it is linked with Island Center station of Rokkoliner train !!!!! Very easy to catch the train or taxi. The lobby is luxurious and warm. The department stores and fashion mall are near to it. The room are very clean and neat! I love the table and chair beside the bed! The bathroom is big and the bathtub is wider than other hotels. Free wifi is available in the room and the signal is very good. The room size and bed size are good. There are plenty of food stores and mini-marts near it.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room was very comfortable.
We were surprised that there was no CNN cable. Nothing for US Citizens to watch on TV.
The executive package was very good. It meant that we could use the Executive Lounge as well as all the leisure facilities. The Executive Lounge had a great view and Wifi etc as well as free drinks and snacks all day. The breakfast buffet was good with a mixture of western and Japanese food. Good bus service to town which although it is a 20 minute journey, it was reasonably accessible. The fact that there was also a direct bus to Kansai international was also a great feature.
Having to pay for a 1 year old baby to go swimming. Although the adults had the Executive package, the swimming pool attendant was insistent that our 1 year old baby had to pay for a 15 minute swim.
Close to train station, nice spacious room.
Restaurants were expensive.
Large comfortable western-style rooms
Not enough restaurant choices in the vicinity. Gets to become important when one stays for over 2 weeks.
big room size, beautiful view, and nice service
poor location. no room internet
