The room itself was clean, but very dated. Chipping furniture, old TV. The bathroom size is something you'd see on a cruise ship. As an averaged-sized gal, taking a shower was a bit tricky with my elbows constantly hitting the walls. Free wifi was available, but very spotty. However, the amazing location more than makes up for the dated hotel. Would highly recommend.
The hotel was located just steps from the Nishiki Marketplace, which consists of rows upon rows of shops spanning miles. All your one-stop shopping and eating desires are just steps away. The room itself had all the basic amenities, a full sized bed, and a small TV. Breakfast was just an elevator ride to the bottom floor. Taxis were plentiful, as it was located upon the main, bustling street with a few small train stations located very close by.
