Near Kyoto Station.

The room was very very noisy when the wind was blowing. I checked to make sure the window was properly closed, but there was still a lot of wind noise coming into the room.

WiFi connection is problematic to access everyday of my 3 day-stay! 10 minute limit is too short. Weak connection.

The closeness to the main railway station.

No wi-fi for phones and iPads after first 10 minutes. No way to print boarding passes etc. Unhelpful staff. Unacceptable for a big international hotel in a big city in Japan.

but the price is crazy for such small room, it's more than double than last year. the bathroom and shower is too small and really uncomfortable and the room price is not fair

Size of the room could be bigger but for couple days it was not a problem. Price of the breakfast seems too high.

I always stay at this hotel during my autumn/spring trips to Kyoto. It's no frills, you get a basic room and toilet/tub, but it's the convenience and location I enjoy and the price. This hotel has always been good to me when I visit, and staff are always helpful and most speak English.

Apart for the slow check-in due to a mix up at their end the service was impeccable. Our friend had an illness in the family late at night meaning he had to cancel further hotel bookings and the hotel staff allowed us to call Booking.com and the other hotel without a blink of an eyelid. The cleaners were also good and efficient. The hotel is situated very close to the central station meaning easy access. The hotel looks very nice inside too and they gave us a free pass to the Kyoto Tower.

Location to station. Easy to find. Had fridge, hot pot, quiet, safe, and comfortable bed and bedding.

Very close to Kyoto station and shopping mall (JR Isetan). Easily to take bus, train, subway. Price is reasonable.

Should have shower cap provide in utilities.

I think for the price breakfast should have been included, but this is not a problem as this could easily be obtained close by or in the station

location: 1 minute walk from Kyoto station (exit east), easy even if it's raining; Quite hotel

rooms realy small.... (even accoridng the Japanese standard) don't bring you luggages. reservation non smoking.... they tried to give us with a smoking one... but the manager had to find a solution finaly after a "firm" discussion and few minutes ....
