Courteous staffs and very clean
Cigarette smoking should be baned totally. Could get the smell in our room whenever someone smoke outside or in the smoking corner.
Very convenient for everything!
Location. Shoji screened windows added local charm.
Bathroom a little cramped but acceptable.
Location Clean Nice
Staff are so nice, Hotel is so beautiful, location is perfect - next to the kyoto station..
The laundry service made a mistake and a clothes bag was missing for a day, although it was eventually found.
Comfortable mattress. Excellent location close to train station, plus to buses. Free entry to Kyoto Tower above the hotel, the tower has great views and is helpful in understanding the lie of the land and position of sights around Kyoto.
The pillows were far too hard and uncomfortable.
Conveniently located and a super value, the hotel left me feeling happy and refreshed. My room was clean, quiet and relaxing. Wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for the economy minded business traveler.
I like the location that was near the Kyoto station and bus terminal station. I like the every use shopping mall.
It was very dusty on the carpet. The public bath location was difficult to access.
Location makes it a top choice. Clean rooms, good bed.
We arrived half an hour before check in time. My daughter was very tired and we wanted to have a quick shower (it was hot!) before dashing out for an appointment. But the staff was adamant in not allowing early check in. In the end we only came back to check in at 10.30pm that night. Could enjoy the room much so it was sad.
Excellent continental breakfast.
Very small rooms.
we stayed here as a family of 3 and booked a twin room with extra bed . the room was remarkably small n basically there's no room to move around. the chairs cannot be sit / accessed as the extra bed just blocked the path. nonetheless, the WORST thing was that the springs of the extra added bed is 'malfunctioned' and 'damaged'; the bed sink in the middle and the high pitch noise of the bed actually woke my family up at night (not sleeping on the same bed with me!) whenever i turned/ moved on my bed. It was really the worst night and worst bed I've ever slept! I would say if the hotel couldn't offer a normal standard 3 people room, it shouldn't offer such a choice in the room type and should suggest us to get a twin bed room and a single bed room instead . The location of the hotel, however, was good, v close to kyoto station and bus stop.
public bath +++ Breafast +++ cituztion / City +++
Being under the tower was great and the staff was amazing. Value for dollar was there. The staff was great and spoke English, which helps a Westerner like myself. Would stay again.
Would've liked stronger air conditioning.
Air condition too hot to sleep
1) Kyoto Tower 2) Nice staff and big room 3) very close to Train/Bus Stations
The hotel is right across the street from Kyoto Station. During the day you can go through the tunnels, into the store next to the hotel and into the hotel without having to go outside. The room was small but adequate. The staff at the reception desk speak English and are helpful.
The room is small. In many of the rooms you can hear the beeping from the traffic signals all night long.
Near Kyoto station, get free ticket for Kyoto tower.
As everyone has mentioned the location is amazing. Also my room had the Kyoto station view so myself and family loved it
The bed was terrible. It wasn't comfy at all, I was counting the days just so I can go back to Tokyo and sleep on my bed. In addition, the price comparing to its facilities is expensive. No wifi and with only one or two channel to watch (including CNN). Basically you arrive back to the hotel just to sleep and the non comfy bed because there isn't much you do or watch in the hotel.
Location is very central and the hotel offers good value for money.
The hotel was really close to the Kyoto Station which was super handy when trundling bags. You got a free ticket to go up the Kyoto tower on site which was a bonus. Good size room for Japan standards.
Hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. Room was so small that you had to climb over one to get to the other. Walls were very thin and could hear all the noise from the convention hall
Location was great super convenient near main subway and rail lines
Bed uncomfortable and rooms inconsistent...friends of mine in another room had a much nicer room with comfy beds.
Excellent location, very close to the train station
