Close to everything.
Couldn't breathe, cigarette smell in air conditioning system overwhelming.
This hotel is near the JR station.
Not many restaurant open in the morning even this location is near train staion (8 am.). The room's window cannot open, so if you feel like to have fresh air, you have to go outside.
The location is next to Nippori station and accessible to major attractions in Tokyo. The rooms are spacious and the staff are excellent.
Nothing to complain about.
A few minutes' walk to Nippori station(East gate) directly accessible from Narita airport Skyliner train. Great accessibility to other parts of Tokyo area with convenient stores and restaurants around the hotel.
Would love it if the room is slightly bigger but the great location made up for it.
It's very close to the station
location is near nippori station room is clean
wall made of gypsum so can hear voices from next door
I liked the location, and the staff was helpful and polite
Tiny tiny room...small hallway and a bed the end...no room to turn around barley
The rooms were surprising large and comfortable.
Older hotel, but clean, tidy and comfortable. Great location, 2 minutes from train station and easy access to train to Narita.
Staff, breakfast, cleanliness, good service, friendly atmosphere, good Japanese restaurant downstairs
Close to Nippori station on the Yamanote line that goes around central Tokyo - very convenient. Very helpful staff.
Visited over New Year, which meant: - Cold rooms. - No laundry service.
- Good location close to the Yamanote circle line -Clean room, especially bathroom - Friendly staff (but where in Japan the staff is not friendly?)
Window cannot be opened, big minus point
Easy access to everything
Helpful staff, although they don't speak much English. Its a typical low end business hotel.
The window in the room can't be opened, which makes the condensation roll down the wall, which over time makes the wall moldy and constantly damp. Overall the place needs to be maintained better.
We arrived at Nippori Station straight from Narita Airport and once you take the South exit from the Station and head down the stairs on your left it really is only a 1-2 minute walk to the hotel. At the bottom of the stairs, cross the road then turn right and take the first street on your left. You can see the green awning of the hotel on the right from the corner although no signage is visible from there. We had a room for 4 people which was very spacious especially by Japanese standards and plenty of amenities were provided. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and had plenty to choose from. There is a convenience store, Mos Burger and plenty of restaurants within less than 5 minutes walk. I would happily stay here again.
Beds were a little on the firm side but I think this is normal in Japan.
Quiet and peaceful area; just a 1 minute walk to the nearest train station; staff were very helpful with tourist questions; very clean hotel; restaurants and family stores within a minute walk from hotel.
Too far from Haneda Airport (my fault though, I didn't check distances); Although this isn't a hit against the hotel, but it should be noted that very late flights into Haneda airport leaves you with no transportation to the Lungewood Hotel. Any flight arriving after 2300 and you will be left with either a taxi ride to the hotel ($100) or a bus ($20; and even then, the bus didn't go all the way to the hotel. It stopped about 20 km short of it, where I needed to take a cab ride the rest of the way. Once again, not the hotel's fault, but the traveler needs to do their research on distances from the airport and arrival times.
Close to transport and local conveniences. Would stay there again.
Nothing to really dislike about hotel. A number of pachinko bars in close proximity, but that is not the hotels fault.
Good location, cheap
Small room but expected
location is near the train. if u hv big laggage,i suggest to use east exit of JR nippori coz it hv elevator.
The location of the hotel is great as it is only 3-5 minutes walk from Nippori station. Also you can travel from Narita Airport to this hotel very easily and conveniently using Keisei Skyliner. The hotel is located near many convenient stores and restaurants which open until very late at night. The housekeepers are very friendly and attentive. The room is always nicely cleaned every day.
Our only dislike is that we couldn't control or adjust the temperature of the room. There were only "low, medium and high" button. Since we were there in winter and the room's window could not be opened, some nights were very hot; even though, we put the air-con on low, we felt the heat and it was sometimes suffocating.
The location is very convenience for travellers living. So close to the Nippori Station. Many restaurants and convenience store can be found easily. Forget to bring necessary stuff for your trip ? Don't worry....you can buy anything around this place !!! My favourite jean shop EDWIN is just around the block !!
Closeness to south exit of the Nippori station (Yamanote line) Cleanliness of the hotel Pricing and value for money
No contact with staff. You can walk straight to the elevator before even making eye contact with the reception. It was the room we choose, but a small double bed is very small!
Fast access to Narita airport and Yamanote line from Nippori station.
The room was clean but somewhat worn out. There was a slight smell in the room and the hallway.
Very close to Nippori Train station which allows for easy access to Narita and Haneda Airports as well as other Japanese neighborhoods. Close to restaurants and convenience stores.
Difficult area if you don't speak/read Japanese. There wasn't alot of English spoken and there wasn't an English Train map at the Nippori station. The only ATM machine in the area that had an English option closed at 9pm.
A few minutes' walk from Nippori station South gate with convenience stores and choice of restaurants around the hotel.
The room is quite small but the great location more than compensated for that.
