This hotel location is in Ikebukuro. It is not so crowd like Shinjuku. It give us a feel that we are in the mixture of business area on day time and quiet/tranquility area at night time.
Staff is extremely helpful. He notices that we need to find some places to wander before checking in at 3:00 pm. He walks to us without asking for help and recommends the place to visit, where to eat, etc. with additional neighborhood and Metro Map.
Family mart and Mos Burger are less than 20 meter away from the front of the Hotel. Luminare Department store and JR Station are only a few minutes walk. Big Camera, Don Quijote (yes, Quijote) discount store, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, Parco, Seibu are very close to the JR station. Very good noodle shops are scattering around the station.
All in room facilities such as air con, heater, fridge, stand alone dehumidifier are function as it should be. Room size are moderate, I am happy to get around 23 Sqm twin room on 15 floor. Hotel staff told me that if weather permits, we may be able to see Mt.Fuji.
In room TV channel includes mostly Japanese channel and CNN, BBC. To watch a movie, you need to pay extra.
This Hotel is a stop of Airport Limousine bus. Make it very easy for us to transfer from Narita to Hotel and vice versa.
I like this place due to its location and my life style. If you want to live the night life, Shinjuku might be the better place than Ikebukuro.
Hot water pot and Japanese green tea are available as a complement but not a coffee bag. To use Wifi, you need to pay more.
If you select street view from Google MAP to check how the hotel look like or to find ways to JR Station, you will be very confuse since Google Map pin of this location will navigate you only to the back side of the hotel where Airport Limousine bus stops. If you arrive to this hotel by Airport Limousine Bus, you will be fine.
