Mitsui Garden Hotel Ueno    

Definetly the best hotel in Tokyo with great position, design and services. I really regrets I haven't choosen this hotel before for my holidyas in Tokyo. A must on my list since now

No bad news, everything is just amazing

Convenient location, easily access to public transportation. Resonable price with tidy facilities and good services. I will recommend Mitsui Garden Hotel for tourists who plan to stay in Ueno. ( not for backpackers with limited budget)

Nearby UENO Train station.

No business room or Printing facilities. Difficult to doing work and importance of printing boarding passes.

Wi-fi in thé room. Restaurant. Location. Staff. Value.

Clean small room with many amenities around it. Transport accessibility is near by.

1.Standard double room is really too small even for asian small size couple for us. Our 2 medium size luggages has no space to put properly and we have to carry up and down to lay it on the bed if we want to take somethings. Just imagine! 2.The bed is too hard and stiff and caused both of us having backache. 3. Counter staff should go for re-training. We are told to change room during our 4 night stays. Worse they disabled our room card for 3 times intentionally just to make us go to them when they can't locate us. The gal who did our checked in is very blur and her colleagues too and all don't even know what is happening. It really spoiled and ruined our holiday mood. Worse they didn't even apologize to us at all. Just for your info, I have personally stay at Dai Ichi Hotel at Shibashi for 3 months for both work and leisure. and Mitsui hotel Group is in no way any near to their quality and standard except the fact that they are new and trendy. For all holiday traveller reading my review, this is more for solo business hotel and not suitable for tourist stay. We regret to stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel and we will skip this hotel for our frequent visit in Japan in future.

I liked everything. Staff are extremely helpful, when it was raining they loaned us umbrellas, when I was sick they provided medicine, every time the cleaner saw us in the morning she wouldn't stop bowing until we leave, the one time I left my clothes unfolded in the room they even helped fold it when they did the room cleaning. What more can I say? A hotel in an excellent location with excellent English speaking staff. My second time staying in this hotel, highly recommended. Location is to commended as well, hotel is more or less built right on top of a main train station where there is a direct line to and fro Narita airport, and almost all the trains from all the different lines stop here as well.

There is nothing I dislike about this hotel.

Great location - metro stations are just across the hotel and the Ueno Park is just 10mins walk. New hotel with great amenities such as toothbrush, hairbrush, hair straightener and even a facial steamer .

too rigid with the early checkin or checkout requests. No flexibility at all.

Location close and easy to both JR railway and Keisei line to airport

Staff not much understand in english. They take time more than 15 mins to check in. or answer my question.

Superb location, clean and comfort room, nice design and bright room.

No support at an urgency case. I had a lot of pain and wanted some painkiller, no chance to get in the hotel. Finally I had to ask a friend to come and go with me to hospital at midnight. smoking room: at the entrance it smelled like cannabis (under the air conditionner)

Location When given incorrect room originally - swapped rooms without issue to non smoking room

Pillows Original incorrectly given a smoking room and it had a very strong smoke odour.

Location is excellent.

Mitsui Garden Hotel is nice modern hotel, with high level of comfort, professional and courteous staff, and a very good location (2 minutes away from Ueno Station and Ueno Park). It also has a good Western-style restaurant in the same premises. Overall very nice, stylish and definitely optimal value for money.

Poor value breakfasts, poor understanding of English by most staff, small room size for the price notwithstanding that it is Tokyo

Very convienent location.

Breakfast wasn't included, no instruction to use air conditioner.

Room was modern and clean, bathroom was more spacious than commonly seen in other hotels. Location was right next to train station of Ueno. Staff was friendly and spoke enough English to help us with our questions.

Good location close to Ueno station (Keisei Skyliner to Narita and also Yamanote line). Clean and contemporarily designed.

Poor handling of changes in reservation. Had to argue for a long time to get the agreed price even thogh I had e-mailed and phoned twice.

Every thing was excellent

Location is good, right across from major train and subway station. There's also quite a good Italian restaurant on the premises. Staff is friendly, although they don't have much English...enough to communicate, however. Room is of reasonable size.

The room did seem to have been used by smokers in the past, as there was still a residue of that odor...not overpowering, but still could be sensed.
