The hotel seemed to be a basic business hotel, and the carpeting was
worn out and ragged-looking in our room. The free breakfast was good,
but on the spare side -- yogurt, a variety of breakfast buns/breads
with butter and jams, several types of riceballs, miso soup, a shredded
cabbage/lettuce salad, a pot of boiled sausages, coffee, milk,
orange juice, apple juice, and grapefruit juice, and ice water.
The front staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also liked that
the hotel was located literally right next to the port for the ferry
going to Miyajima. The double bed was on the small side for my husband
and me, but it was fine. The room was on the fourth floor (as
requested), and very quiet. The bath was small but immaculate and well-
stocked with toothbrush/toothpaste sets, brush, and aromatic body
soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The restaurants were both excellent,
reasonably priced, with a good selection of food for both kids and us.
The food was delicious! A great bonus for us was the coin laundromat,
with washers and dryers.
