Uncomfortable bedding pillows Breakfast is monotonous.
Metro is ten steps to hotel Hanzamon Line with elevator, very secure environment, clean, great value for money. Location is near embassy area and walking distance 10 min. to JR line for travelling in Japan.
Reception was very friendly. The position relative to Hanzomon station is excellent provided you use the correct exit from the station.
The room was quite small with no storage space.
Reasonably sized room with nice decor. Hotel directly opposite entrance to Hanzomon subway station.Quiet residential area.
Good location for my purposes
Stuffy air in hotel, rooms are tired and somewhat dirty
The hotel is very clean and it is located infront of exit number 5 of the hanzomone station so you do not have to look for it.
The internet connection was not really good it wad good when i stand next to the room door. The air condition had a water droping sound but because I was staying for one night and the weather was ok I just turned it off. The wirst thing was the poor employ English, I asked if it is Ok to be late for 30min check out the employee on the front disk said ok but when I checked out they charged me 1000yen more. I think if they have employees who know more English I would not have this issue.
- The subway entrance is right across the street, a huge advantage if you want to get around Tokyo by public transport - central location, all major sights reachable within 30min by subway - the room was equipped with pyjamas in two different sizes. very nice detail! - location is quiet, despite being in the middle of the city
- Wlan reception in the room wasn't great - as usual in Asian cities: room was pretty small
Great location, Well laid out design, service was good. Perfect for what we needed for a vacation in Tokyo
Location is very good. Comfortable bed, clean room, good a/c.
Metro just across the street, 1 minute by walk, Good n cheap restaurant just beside the hotel, 7 eleven n other store just 3 minute from hotel area. Hotel is clean n new model.
Metro station is right across the street, some restaurants and convenient store are close by. Staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are small but have everything you need.
Great connection to the Metro. Good staff, speak good English. For Tokyo, good size room.
WiFi doens't work well in the room (they do inform you of this) -- cable connection in the room. Breakfast is expensive.
Location was good, near train stations and in Tokyo area. Rooms and facilities were very clean.
Language is a challenge with staff. Fire alarm went off at 2am during our stay and emergency announcements and updates only given in Japanese despite many foreign guests.
Location was great. Immediately across the street from Hanzomon Station. Staff was great.
location , interior decor
Room too small, window cannot be opened
Location of the hotel is great, it's directly at Hanzomon metro station.
Wi-Fi is not available in all rooms. I was lucky to get a room with Wi-Fi but there wasn't any in my friends' room.
One member of staff went out of his way to help us when we were leaving with getting a taxi etc
The room is big enough for us couple. It was clean and the bathroom is ok (in terms of size because its common that Japan has small rooms) Outside the hotel have a supermarket and 7-11 and Family Mart. Also a few good restaurants around. Just across the hotel is the Tokyo subway metro. Overall we enjoyed it. Thats why when we went to Osaka, we booked also in Hotel Monterey Osaka. Also we glad we stayed there. Ps. I love that both Hotel Monterey have effective Wi-fi !!!
Breakfast is pricey.
Although the room was small, everything was practical and functional. Everything you need is there. Very clean. Also, the hotel is conveniently located near across the Hanzomon subway station.
Since this hotel is located in a business district, there were no shopping area at a walking distance. Also, very few eating places near by. On weekends and holidays, the restaurants close by mostly open very late, thus not much choices for breakfast. Not even a McDonalds, Mister Donut or Burger King close by.
Although the room was small because we had our daughter with us, for a coupled it was excellent. A good walking distances to subways, restaurants and the imperial palace. Staff were super friendly
Breeding was clean but a bit uncomfortable. Had to requestextra linen a few times
Most of the staffs dont speak english!
Very good location with close by subway station - lots of restaurants around, nearby seven eleven supermarket in a quite area. Good after a noisy hectic day in Tokyo. Rooms and beds are small but pratcical and clean. Good roomservice and helpful staff. Wifi is fast and reliable. We will return!
English skills at reception - but nothing uncommon in Japanese hotels
Close to subway station (hanzomon). Quick Check in Check out. Wifi.
Very small room (but seems to be the normal size in Japan). Very few International Chanel's available at the TV. Breakfast was not included and cost 1900 yen each.
Near subway station
