Score from 810 reviews Very good
Right across from the Imperial Palace, Hotel Grand Arc Hanzomon is in the heart of Tokyo. The hotel provides comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi, and features 4 restaurants.
Score from 1175 reviews Excellent
Close proximity to restaurants, supermarket, bakery, train station.
Breakfast can be improve and standardize across all branches in Japan. Stayed in MyStays Nagoya previously and loved the breakfast.
Rooms are large and clean, with a good bathroom, table, and comfortable chairs. The bed is rightly sized even for tall persons, they provide slippers and robe. The location is excellent, between two major stations (Chou and Yamanote lines), with a Family Mart and post office right next to the hotel.
No wardrobe in single rooms, so luggage has to stay in the open. The hotel provides with an ergonomical pillow and a small, square standard one, neither that comfortable if you are used to sleep on your side or stomach.
Location vis a vis train stations-- Ochanomizu & Akihabara both in easy walking distance Bakery across the street for breakfast Big (twin) room (for Tokyo) Bigger bathroom (for Japan) Convenience store on ground level
Fridge was older, no freezer compartment Not many (free) tv channels No wifi in rooms, just lobby Windows a bit thin, not too bad but street noise noticeable on 8th floor
Good location and service!!!
The bed is small.....
Very nice rooms (with in-room safe), bigger rooms than other hotels in this price range, nice breakfast buffet.
- There is literally a convenience store beside the hotel - Room size is decent - Around 5 to 10 minutes walk from the two different train lines - Staffs are really friendly & helpful! - Tons of restaurants to choose from just opposite of the hotel & there's some cafes and bakeries too! - Starbucks is just 2 to 3 minutes walk away
- Breakfast can be better. Not a lot of choices
The hotel is located in a central area of Tokyo where many metros and trains lines cross. It was nice to land here. The place is worth the price for Tokyo.
The card key for the lift is not very practicle. Wifi accessible only in the lobby.
location is okay, nice staff, comfortable pillow
very dirty wallpaper, relatively old facilities...
the staff was professional and very helpful. The room, even if pretty small, was clean and silent. Perfect for a business trip
Very modern, clean; great breakfast.
No wifi in the room.
Great staff, good location, very fair price. Absolutely no issues with the hotel. Would definitely stay again.
- One word, Location. Easily the best feature of this hotel. 6-minute walk to either Akihabara or Ochanomizu station is great for those wish to utilise the Yamanote Line(city loop), the Chuo/Sobu line or the Keihin Line. FamilyMart is integrated at the ground floor.
- Room is fairly small but it could just the Tokyo standard. Booked a twin room and our medium-sized luggage bags occupied the walkway.
I liked that the 'silent' room was really silent and peaceful; the staff were absolutely fabulous in all ways and, actually, the additional things - breakfast, toiletries etc. - were also very high standard for a hotel of this category and price. Big plus!
I think ending breakfast practically at 9 is a bit early, especially for very jet-lagged people like myself. Perhaps 10 might be a better time, based on experience.
Location Grocery store across the street Close to Akibhara
Staff went out of their way to help
The hotel has a good location, close to metro stations
Wi-fi was only in the lobby available.
The rooms were a good size, the bathroom was amazing for such a cheap hotel. The Staff were friendly and seemed to know the area well. The family mart adjoining the lobby was very helpful.
I noted in my booking that I would need an earlier check in as my flight arrived at 9am. How ever I had to wait till 3:30 to gain access to my room. The staff held onto my suitcase but I was very tired. Not a deal breaker but something worth remembering for early fliers.
We loved the location and the size of the room was pretty good for Japan. The staff were friendly and helpful
The room is neat and clean. The staffs are very helpful to provide assistance.
There are only wired LAN network provided in the room and the network is a slow connection.
JR station is really close to the hotel. Akihabara is only 5 mins away from hotel by walking.
Curtain is too thin to cover sunshine in the moring.
Very convenient location
Super convenience~ 3 mins to 2 JR stations and 1 metro station. Akihabara is really close to the hotel~
Staff doesn't speak too much English. And the curtain is too thin to cover the morning sunshine~ you may be waken up at 5 am...
Akihabara and stations are not too far away making the location pretty good. Family Mart is directly at the 1st floor of the hotel, and there is a super market across the street so it's really convenient.
Wifi is only limited at lobby
Location and room were great. Breakfast was great too
