Score from 738 reviews Excellent
the staff are kind and friendly
the location is a bit too far from station
japanese style room for 5 people is very nice
somehow it's noisy
Location were very excellent, easy to go shopping and eat in Domtonbori with 3 minute walk.
i can say, there is no wi fi in my room. when you check in receptionist will inform you that may be in some place wi fi will be weak. they should doing something about this. old mat, make me itching
Walking distance to Dotonbori. You can reach there by foot in less than 5 mins. Lots of eateries at Dotonbori. The hotel is about 6-8 mins walk from Nippombashi station.
Room decor is very outdated. Room lightings very bad. So dim even with all the lights on. Not value for money but maybe because it was peak season or I booked late, so the room rate was really high. Higher than my Kyoto hotel rate. Reason why I book this hotel is because there aren't many rooms left in osaka on booking.com for my dates.
Very near to subway Nipponbashi and 5 min walk to Dotonbori
Location was good we got the rooms for a cheap price. It's just around the corner from Dontombori where Alot of Osakas night life is. And is around the corner from the subway station (Not JR). Staff were very friendly. It's cheap, great location but you pay for what you get.
The beds were terrible, they could've given rocks lessons in how to be hard. The place is old, and they only have 2 washing machine s and dryers which are coin operated
Staff were helpful and the room was of a reasonable size for a Japanese hotel. Location was pretty good with only a short walk to subway and restaurants.
Rooms were quite noisy and the noise of other guests was easily heard. Unfortunately when guests return to the hotel at a late hour this impacted sleep. Futons were only basic and of limited comfort.
free wifi always disconnected.
Staff at reception very helpful, she called a shop to check on a product for us, very good English!
The bed & pillow was very hard, couldn't use the pillow, no other option in room.
Overall hotel was value for money if on budget
Room was a bit cold because was family room and stay was over winter. Took a while to heat up
Location is close to dotonburi.
Not much variety for Breakfast and it's only until 8.30.
The basic to low.
Price and location
Location is great.
All bedding are of low quality. Japanese futons are very thin. Pillows and blanklets are old and lower than standard. Staff are helpful but I find it very difficult communicate with them. We also were given a smaller room for 4 than the one we booked at first. They change a bigger room for us after our complaint.
1. Wi-Fi reception in room is bad. 2. only one small pillow is provided. 3. No safe deposit box.
Wifi in room
The futon is too thin and that makes it really uncomfortable to sleep on.
Spacious and Clean
Easy to find from direction. Comfortable.
- Quadruple room is big - Japanese beds were comfortable - Separate toilet and shower (with bathtub) - English-speaking staff - Walking distance from Dotonbori and train station
- the room feels a little old - poor wifi connection in the room - housekeeping will not clean the room unless you put a "Please clean room" sign. We forgot to put ours during our 2nd night so our room was not cleaned when we got back.
Good location,neaby Dotombori Street.
It's very close to shppping area nice and big room
Staff is not friendly
Very good geographic situation in Namba and reasonably close to train station, good-sized room and bath room, good WiFi reception. Would definitely stay again.
Breakfast a bit unimaginative (but OK for 500 yen). Bed a bit hard (I checked whether it was a simple board, but no, it is a matress).
