The host offers to drive you to a nearby onsen every evening, likes to speak english and likes to speak with people from oder countries very much :)
Yuri took us to onsen explained where to go shopping in detail
Wifi connection is bad upstairs
The staff is very friendly. They recommended you thing to do in Nikko. The room are ckean and the showers too.
the owner was really kind and willing to help you. we could check in earlier and he drove us to the station the day after cause we were late.. thank you!!
It is reasonably close to town. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The internet was excellent, and the free beverages were nice, but the best thing was Yugi our host! He picked us up at the train station during a pouring rain, took us to an ATM and to an incredible supermarket to get dinner, and drove us back to the train the next morning! Thank you Yugi!!! And you can't beat the value. This was the least expensive place we stayed during our two weeks in Japan!
The landmarks on the map were hard for us to find, so be sure to clarify the directions in advance. Fortunately, the young woman in the tourist office at the train station was very helpful, and she phoned Yugi.
The hotel host (Yu-Ji san) is a nice person, and I am very impressed by his lodge and very appreciated his kindness. Hotel room is large and quiet, nearby a river, so you can hear the river, thus I felt so relaxed while sleeping. To sum up, it's a worthy choice to stay here, small but sweet lodge. Truely I will recommend to my friends.
Very good accomodation with japanese-style rooms. Yuji is really a nice person and we suggest Narusawa Lodge to every Nikko visitor. Arigatou gozaimasu!
The lodge is an exellent place to visit Nikko. Good value for money. Quiet and clean. Sleep on Japanese beds. The owner is friendly and helpfull
Everything was great: took time give us helpful tips and local information, offered free ride to local onsen - would stay there anytime again! Highly recommemded.
loved everything - esp loved that Yuji dropped us off at train station.

bedroom style japan
Great host! Yuji is really nice and can give you really good advises to visit Nikko, and does not hesitate to make a ride to help you to find the onsens of Nikko
Location, cost, facilities.
Clean bedroom and spacious
Quite far away from the train station
Yugi, the manager, is friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable and clean.
The bathrooms need to be remodeled.
The owner is very nice and helpful. Every information you need can be find in the house! Or just ask and you will have the answer. He even drive us to the onsen next to the house and dry our shoes after a rainy day! The ambiance in the house is good and friendly.
Good communal facilities on both floors, able to check in early was much appreciated.
walls extremely thin - you could hear and feel footsteps of all other guests even when they were trying to be quiet. Lights from landing/communal shone straight into our room and so room was often lit up at night. Hard bean bag pillows.
Yuki-san was an excellent host. We enjoyed walking to the old Italian Embassy and the drive on Irohazaka road. There were a lot of little gems that he took us to on the tour. Would definitely recommend it instead of just taking the bus up to Kegon Falls.
We were staying a group of three friends at Narusawa's and the experience was excellent! 100% recommendable!
nice owner old japanese style house with tatami
20-30 min from train station one bathroom
the very spacious room, and and balcony.
