The hotel is very close to Ikebukuro station, and Sunshine City is only about 15 minutes away on foot. The cleaners didn't disturb you no matter how long you were in your room for.

It is close to the Ikebukuro station, and there are lots of eating, clubbing, shopping facilities nearby.

The watertap made a quite loud whistling sound when turned it on. Some hidden areas of the room wasn't cleaned for long time. The staff wasn't too friendly.

It was very close to a major train station (Ikebukuro). The price was decent for Tokyo.

Good location, excelent value for money. It is a good choice for travellers who are looking for a nice place to sleep and easily connect with the main tokyo districs.

The hotel is near the Ikebukuro Station and the room was very small, but clean and perfect for those who will only sleep at the hotel. The staff don´t speak a very good english, but everyone were very polite and helpful. Good for budget trips.

The hotel staff was a pleasure to deal with.

The hotel could use some tidying up. (for example cleaning of soiled walls, new carpeting and bed linens.)

Close to all shopping venue and main train station in Ikebukuro. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

Rooms are small for foreigners especially the bathroom for true comfort.

I find ideal position, quite , clean and no problem. There are fantastic restaurant and shops all around and that'really economic. Just fine.

Near to train station, have a 24 hours 'obento' shop. convenience

It writes that they have a coin laundry but happen to be a 'nearby' coin-laundry.

離東京池袋站C6出口走路5分鐘就能到，雖附近是鬧區但夜晚還算安靜，旅館樓下就有間LAWSON，對於自- 助旅行者相當方便! 另外價錢也蠻合理的不會太昂貴，有預算限制的朋友可以考慮喔!

房間有點小，但還算整齊乾淨，只是行李可能就會佔了一半的活動空間。

Mycket prisvärt när du är i Tokyo för att just se Tokyo och inte sitta inne och häcka på hotellrummet! 5-7 minuters promenad till Ikebukuro tågstation och många bra både matställen o snabbköpsbutiker i närområdet. För er som tränar karate så hittade jag en kampsportsbutik som granne till hotellet :-) Jättetrevlig butiksinnehavare!

The beds were clean, good temperature you can control yourself. Nice bathroom products - Shiseido shampoo, conditioner, and liquid body wash. It is not too hard to find, not too far from Ikebukuro station (about an 8 min. Walk), and near to many convenience stores and cafes, the post office. The price was fair for what we got.

The bathroom was moldy across the ceiling, bath rim, and a little on the shower curtain. Room is extremely small by Western standards, me and my friend had to juggle around our small suitcases, no room for big ones. Bed was quite hard and you could easily feel the springs, but I was luckily able to sleep regardless. We're both short, but a tall person (maybe over 5'10") would probably not fit the bed. Thermal sheets made me sweat buckets every night, which I don't normally have a problem with. Street is noisy in the morning hours, so I recommend ear plugs if you aren't getting up at 6 A.M. Got by okay enough speaking English only with the staff. Fyi - they cannot call a taxi for you, but we were able to flag one down on the street as we were walking towards the station. I was also taken aback that I had to turn in my key every time I left and ask for it when I got in, though this is apparently fairly common in Japan. I think mostly single men stay at this place. It was serviceable enough, overall, but probably would try for a nicer place next time. I booked it because it was one of the few available with two beds within my price range, a lot were already booked solid for my dates.

Very helpful staff, especially helping with language issues. Bedrooms and toilets were carefully cleaned every day.

A great place to stay for a short stay. Very comfortable and clean. Location is great as well.

From JR Ikebukuro Station (North Exit) was a fairly direct route- straight on the main road and a right turn at the next big interersection. A few minutes down on right-side just past Family Mart convenience store also on right-side. An 8-10 minute walk from the station. Located near a lot of restaurants, shops and convenience stores. Room was clean and quiet. Had toiletries - shampoo, soap, toothbrush/ paste... clean washroom. Clean room. Comfortable enough and clean bed. Wi Fi internet in room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Coffee in lobby. Pay phone also in lobby. 24/7 reception. A fair price for room and location. Clean and secure. No frills business hotel.

A bit further than the station than I thought (listed at 500m from station) I thought if would be less than a 5 minute walk but closer to 10 minutes. No biggie.

Ikebukuro Station is about 10 minutes by foot

Old furniture in the room. The bathroom plumbing runs. In the toilet there is no exhaust ventilation system! The hotel is old, dilapidated walls, and floor. The hotel does not look like a 3 star!
